    By adding a rope grab to the working side of your rope simply run your standing end through a pulley and connect to the rope grab now you can pull down on the standing end to ascend.

    Can the Grillon be used as a restraint lanyard?

      Yes, the GRILLON is ideal as a restraint lanyard. You can use the adjuster either at the harness, or at the anchor point, then adjust the GRILLON so that the user cannot reach the fall hazard.

      There is no spring in the camming mechanism, I believe.

      You need a screwdriver to change the rope.

      @@bridiro I believe that would be a safety issue. The grigri needs a fast fall to lock. the grillon locks immediately which is why it's use for industrial use and not climbing.

      @@cameronstudley196 that's sad. I got one just today because one of my friends who works in constructions said he wouldn't use it anymore, and it was still in perfect conditions. So I thought I could have use it as a grigri, but in this case maybe I won't
