There's no way they could include characters like Mr. Grimm and Axel and not fuck it up.
Just gonna throw my two cents in here, I actually liked the series alright. Sure, the most recent games weren't really funny, but the original four were a mixed bag, some characters were more serious than others but it was generally dark humor. The third and fourth ones were just completely off the deep end. One had a goddamn leprechaun, a fake Robocop, and Rob Zombie in it. Multiple ghosts, a dude with wheels for hands, etc. Even Head-On, one of the last ones, had a lot of dark humor in it. No, what I went into Twisted Metal for was weird characters and vehicular violence and the show delivers on that. I liked that the vehicles feel about as much like characters as the real characters, that's fitting of a car violence game. YMMV on the humor but I'm looking forward to more. Now, if they get a Vigilante 8 show going... Hoo boy, that could go just about anywhere.

They're bad films, but still entertaining nonetheless. Think like "Anchorman 2" that movie is terrible as film, since it has an incoherent plot and nothing of value really happens. However, the entire film is a non stop laugh fest until the end. So it's entertaining, just isn't a good movie.
@@RamsTheNameComI guess the question is are we putting too many movies into the same mold? What if the movie having a coherent plot wasn't the goal and they just wanted to provide the audience a laugh fest? In that case the movie was a very good movie, it did exactly what it set out to do. Movies don't HAVE to have a coherent plot, or HAVE to have any other arbitrary requirement. The only requirement is that a movie succeeds/does well in what it was meant to.

The Twisted Metal trailer was awful and apparently people thought it was great. It made me think I was insane cause I couldn't fathom how anyone could think it was good.
The show is definitely better than the garbage the trailers made it out to be. But I still wouldn’t say it’s very good. The writing is messy, the comedy is mostly a miss (when it’s funny, it’s pretty damn funny but it takes a while to find a good joke). Whenever it deviates from the comedy, the show shines as it has genuinely good fleshing out characters scene and good backstories. It’s a mixed bag.
Twisted metal had some comedy, at least from what I remember all those years ago (i mean there was literally a bulldozer named Mr. Slam & a guy with his arms in 2 giant tires) but it was pretty dark humor beyond that. Not this garbage. Why are so many people buying the rights to nostalgic cartoons & video games, just to basically write their own garbage? Actually, I know why, the name value helps sell their garbage.
There seems to be a lot of love for the Twisted Metal show. It for sure found the right audience. Because I, and the friends I’m watching it, think the show is AWFUL. Interesting lmao.
What's the point of doing Twisted Metal and having only Sweet Tooth? I'm not saying we need smth crazy like a F1 car doing a tornado but it would be such an easy fanservice to just have at least some other known characters there.. the main guy drives an orange car but he's not Roadkill? I thought the mall map joke was funny. the rest was painful from there. That gun joke was even bad for an erectile dysfunction joke, it somehow managed to bring nothing unique to the trope while still being uniquely bad.
Did he just call Deadpool and Zombieland bad films? THEY’RE NOT!
@@ForTheOmnissiahI suggested years ago to just review movies in separate genres.
Only compare horror movies to other horror movies.
Comedies to comedies.
Etc.
He gave them 5/10 and 6/10 which makes it weirder
They weren't directed by charlie kaufman
I would normally watch any piece of **** mainstream horror movie just to knock it of the list but this one looks like a chore.
Looks like Stephanie Beatrix has been typecast as the knew Michelle Rodríguez but of comedy instead of action, shame because she has so much range.
Plus the type casting is 100% just ripping off Rosa from Brooklyn 99
I really don't think Deadpool 1 is great...and I'm not a huge Zombieland fan either....
But what's Adum's beef with em? 😂
Deadpool bad?
It is, Zombieland not though
Twisted Metal is an old Ps2 series that had a reboot then Sweet Tooth the clown was added to PlayStation all stars. It was an arena shooter in your vehicles depending who you play you get a comedic ending based on what you wished for
You really don’t like Deadpool or Zombieland? You really are as cynical as you sound
It had David something or other who created the series and he was always like that UBER EDGY game developer who when able to create the game he wanted to, was basically an MSI song without the funness or talent of MSI. Super juvenile and "edgy" for the sake of being "edgy". David Jaffe. He's like the JOHN K of video game development. If I remember correctly it was Death Race 2000 but trapped in a city.
Deadpool & Zombieland are just okay. I prefer Deadpool 2 more.
Why Deadpool 2 over the first?
Because Cable is in it. Also the intro with Deadpool killing all those Yakuza’s in the sauna with Caribbean Blues by Enya in the background is singlehandly the best jokes/scenes in the entirety of both movies
I was so pissed because ypu stopped the Nun trailer 10000 times... sry that is bad for reaction, and you can not be scared whit that type of watching...
Even if you watched the whole trailer with no stops, it's still not scary, and it was so generic why care
Zombieland is amazing. Just the first one though.
So they just wanted to make a show about post apocalyptic car fights, but we're not allowed to have original IPs anymore so they slapped Twisted Metal on the cover.
This isn't even a terrible premise for a show. Like, at all. But, I have little faith they can pull it off based on this trailer.
Where's Outlaw? Grasshopper? AXEL????
Who wants to bet that he’ll spend a minute and a half at the beginning of the video bitching and moaning about it not being in 4K?
Wah wah just skip it bro
Who wants to bet that every Adum video will have a comment bitching and moaning about Adum bitching and moaning about 4K, thus continuing the cycle
Ya man, why complain about about multi million dollar companies cutting corners to put out trailers in 1080 or 720 p when they have the power to be in the best quality I swear a studio would put a trailer in 144p and you people would still bitch about him complaining about it
It's almost as if the people who make these shows don't play the video games that they're making shows for. RARELY do you get a Last of Us show. Which I've never saw and never will since the game seemed super boring to me like the Uncharted series were. I don't care about your silly world building or story, let me get to the killing and saving and get out.
Big Jesus Bread!
