      @@GardenTricks of course brother. My wife actually works at a organics and produce market here in Florida so we get a bunch of cool plants and trimmings we take home and nurse back to life lol. We just now started to kitchen scraps to grow with. Amazing how many things can just be planted rather than thrown in the trash. We wanted to start mixing plants together if you know anything about that? Like hybrid citrus or something like that. Also here in Florida we have a pretty great grow season. Almost year around. And not because of the cold but the dang hurricanes lol. Talk soon Brother.

    I need help! I have a very small croton mammy that was part of an arrangement from my father's funeral. So it is very important! I repotted it and the leaves kept falling off. When it had only 2 leaves left, I removed them, pruned the roots and carved some of the stem at the bottom for new roots to form. I then planted the stem in a pot and covered it in plastic. I am worried that the roots are bad! Could I just cut the whole bottom of the stem off like you did here? It has roots on it. How can I save this plant? I have also placed some living leaves in water 16 days ago but I don't see any root development at all. Thanks!!!

    • @GardenTricks
      @GardenTricks  4 года назад

      If you have put the rooted plant in the enclosed bag,then it may die. You can cut a 5-6-inch long cutting from the top end of the branch and try to root that as shown in the video. If you have over-watered your plant then the leaves s may have dropped due to that, the stems will also become lumpy.

    Thank you. I like this video. I have a question. When you say "Enclose in a clear polythene bag". Is Enclose totally, no air or I have to do some hole to the bag? ...Sorry by my english

    • @GardenTricks
      @GardenTricks  5 лет назад +2

      Yes, you have to seal the pot in the bag so that high humidity is created inside, which is needed for new growth. No holes in the bag.

    • @GardenTricks
      @GardenTricks  4 года назад

      Thanks, you liked the video. You have to fully enclose the pot in the bag. The enclosed air is sufficient for the cuttings. The aim is to create a mini green house having high humidity, needed for roots development.
