Great balanced review there Bob, the first half you sounded like a salesman for maxus and then you introduced us to the beeper segment 😂 but it's a lot of car for the money. I would consider the mk2 version.
A fair big bus bob, Even room for the new choppy changey hair. :-) As you say not many in the 7 seat market so will put manners on some of the competition. Same from as a ID7 give or take so all about context I suppose. As long as they fix the bugs.
I wouldn't be happy with the facial recognition system. That sounds a bit too much like Big Brother is watching you. Maxus should have called it the Winston Smith, or 1984. Great video Bob.
All these Chinese EVs seem to have overly aggressive lane departure monitoring, they don't seem to have tuned them for our roads. MG4 owners in particular are having to turn them off every time they sit in.
I think I’ll pass, and wait and see how Ford do with next year’s electric Galaxy. Too quirky, ugly, and probably not efficient enough to get the range I’d need - that’s without considering the price!
I'm getting irritated by the warning tone during your review, I definitely couldn't live with that. Too many narrow roads & poorly rubbed out old markings round Scotland.
Fair enough its a high spec chinese car, it might drive well, but what is the metal like, is it going to be a rust bucket after 5 years and what will the resale value be, and who will know how to fix them when something goes wrong especially here in Ireland, not many of these will be seen on Irish roads as people prefer Crossover SUVs nowadays at the same time it has some cool features, but there is probably too many things that will turn people off it.
These Chinese electric cars are going to upset the "traditional" car makers and will inevitably lead to thousands of job losses /closures here in Europe.
They’re crap. They destroy the environment in developing countries (check IMIP Morowali), and they get on fire often. They’re awful. But then again, it’s up to the consumers. Considering the world knows what China does and how they practice business, if the consumers decide that the commies EVs are what they want, que sera sera.
The lane departure warning constant beeping is the Chinese government testing if citzens of other partes of the world are ready to suffer some behaver rulles in exchange for some financial well-being/purchasing power,😎🤣 Nevertheless, apparently, a very interesting Mpv
Normally, when a video is "beeped", it's to cover bad language. So tell me, Bob, how did you curse for so long, without even moving your lips? 😊 Buy a Dacia Jogger instead, save yerself €60k. And no ridiculous beeping.
I love this car! Forget image and street cred, I'm grown. I look forward to the upgrades and seen this in person.

Not sure what to say about those looks but the Chinese are definitely on the right path. Need to throw in ear plugs as an optional extra…😂

Lane deviation beep can be turn off from function on screen
Waiting for MIFA7 which is smaller and more practical for negotiating city streets.
Very impressive presentation 👍

Great video Bob.
Full spec I would buy for £40k max price.
what can you get in the same class for 40k?
the dude is very happy
That line deviation beeper would turn me off that van.
The beeper is a deal breaker ... wanders off to look at a different make.
Fuse box and disconnect ADAS?
80k for that range. Gotta be kidding. Depreciation will be catastrophic. It's a stay away vehicle.

You have us all thinkin about the old so called reliable brands.
The Van Vader would drive!
Great video again , Bob.
Look at the size of the screen bezel (80,000). 😊
It’s like a Toyota Alphard
Always loved the Alphard but this is half the price - once the beeper was disconnected 😂
Nice car but it all feels very cheap. Not worth the price. The VW ID Buzz at least feels well made. Wait for a Lexus LM

currently ice LDVs are not rust buckets so no reason for this one to be
Goon.
I wouldn't be too hopeful about it's reliableity and would expect alot of glitches

Hallo Bob, I think you have to start running again (no offense)… 👍😅🏃♂️🏃🏃♂️🏃🏃♂️🏃🏃♂️

These are awful mate. Nobody buys it here in my country, they just rot in the showroom. LOL.
If it's electric then it's not
prob not a full charge as its set at 90%
