- This is a theory I've wanted to express for a while so I thought I'd do it now. This was gonna be part of a larger video on the Beast Wars/Machines Era but it felt better to just have it be its own video.

Funny, my personal headcanon always believe, just like everyone in Bionicle, is that the Transformers are not robots, but cyborgs.
It's a theory that makes perfect sense, but it's excellent to have all the clues together and set to beautiful music. Almost makes me wanna cry, how good this show was and how far it could have pushed these concepts. Kudos.
Arachnia as the fourth season's big bad, and the whole exploration of techno-organic stuff, sounds pretty amazing. The way they've been doing more Transformers series in the comics, maybe we still might get a fourth season!
This theory is practically fact with the hints, and clues we been given through the show. Representing the evolution transformers as a whole. With Blackarchnia being a accidental forced step in Cybertronian evolution, due to her Megaman styled copy ability... In itself is intresting when considering her character.
Sari on the other hand is a "natural" mesh between flesh, and machine. Acting as a avatar for the Allspark, it's "Oracle" in a way. Sari's origins in her appearing Sumdacs lab odd, but I have a theory regarding that.
Time Travel Theory.
Blackarchnia as individual was not directly affected by the Allspark in her evolution. Becoming techno organic by accident after absorbing SWEET SPIDER JUICE! Leading her to become a con, and everything in animated still happens. Including the Autobots arriving to Earth, buuuut... What if the techno organic Sari never exsisted.
Left as the only one of her new subspecies, Blackarchnia continues to experiment. She stops looking for a "cure". Gone mad by her self loathing, and organic prejudice by cybertron. Somehow in altered events, she attains the Allspark, or Vector Sigma. Proceeding to make the majority of the population like herself to no longer shunned.
As Queen of the corrupted future of her people. No longer fuel efficient as they were meant to become. Instead feeding on energon plant sources, they become predators... Predacons festing on each other, and even other alien species. Until there's nothing left, but complete entropy...
Maybe due to some plucky band of Autobot like our bots, or just through the Allsparks intervention. A protoform is sent through the past in Sumdacs lab. Destined to course correct a dark impending future.
Which this could've possibly been the premise of the episode "Bumble Prime". Which I know would've had "Sari", but we could assume it would've been a FULLY CYBERTRONIAN Sari. But that itself sounds loosey goosey.

Also, Beast Machines did the “techno organic evolution of the Cybertronian species” thing first, so there’s precedent for this idea in the franchise even before Animated
I really love this theory!
This makes perfect sense. Maybe Sari's true goal is to bring organics and machine to co-exist together in peace as she is the first successful techno organic. Evidences you've shown proves it and hints of the Allspark when interact Sari.
Man I wish this show would continue. 😢 Also the sequel we needed. Keep up the good work.
It's about time someone with a bigger platform said this! Ever since I finished season 3 of Transformers Animated I noticed the on-going motif of organic vs technology. Everyone keeps whining about having a triple=changing Megatron in season 4 while I'm over here wondering when I'll see Cheetor or Rhinox appear.
I think that all of the Hasbro mandated plans for season 4 with the triple-changing Megatron, and the return to earth were NOT the original direction the story was planned to go.
My guy I have good news for you, there is a comic con reading of a tie in comic (for botcon) in the Animated world called "The Stunticon Job" and lucky for you CHEETOR APPEARS. There is also a "prequel" comic to it you can find.
Additionally an Almanac for TFA (the complete allspark almanac) has additional beast characters and other juicy stuff
Black Arachnia being the final main antagonist would’ve been so perfect imo! She’s one of the most underutilized characters in the show and I feel like this is exactly the route they wanted to go with her, but you know…. The show got cancelled😕

@@thexplodenator3007 He interviewed Marty, and all Marty said was it's pretty obvious if you think about it. But Keyan said Sari was created by the Allspark. As to why, he didn't have a guess.

Your a theory makes the most logical sense ever because this is what would have led to the creation of a modern day, beast wars
One detail that bears pointing out: When the Allspark shoots its energy at Sari, it’s aimed at her chest.
In other words, the same place she inserts the key later to upgrade herself. Had her security card not been there, the Dinobots wouldn’t have gained sentience, and so many other things in the show wouldn’t have happened.
This is a very interesting theory, especially considering the idea of triple-changer insanity-induced Megatron playing into the themes of technology and biology. His design, especially that mask, instantly make me think of beast machines megatron. Maybe animated megatron here, gaining his triple changer form thanks to black arachnia, becomes obsessed to the point of absolute madness with the idea of technological superiority, much like some of his other incarnations. Arachnia notices, and plays into his now vunerable mind to basically get the muscle in her master plan. Megatron believes he’s in control, but really he’s nothing more than black Arachnia’s attack dog. In a display of poetic irony, Megatron is the one being used and deceived for the true antagonists personal gain.
If they ever bring it back like Young Justice did, I hope they tie up loose ends and explain this stuff.

When I started watching Beast Wars again, I remembered how it's an alternate future of G1; then I remembered TF: Animated is also an alternate future of G1
I had the idea of connecting the two shows together in a possible timeline (and watching your video, I remembered in a TFA fanfic someone actually hinted at meeting Optimus Primal after returning to a Decepticon base off Cybertron (I think it was Black Arachnia, haha))
I love this theory. I really hope season 4 gets picked up again even though the OG maker won't be able to see it through, but I think he'd be glad to see this masterpiece completed

Dang this makes me sad knowing that it got cancelled and that your theory is quite cathartic to hear, as to what we could have had and how the story is influenced.

I have been getting more and more into Transformers for a while now since I've fallen back into the TFA world and honesty thought the same thing.
I believe Keyan Carlile's (now deleted) Sari video quickly dismissed it since there is no evidence of the Beast Wars machine but that theory didn't go as in depth here and he wanted to very strictly stay within the established lore in the show (it's been a while so I could be wrong)
BUT with the other theories + Derrick's tweets + the now recovered original Season 4 plans I believe there is even more we can piece together about this world.
Blacharachnia for Season 4 now sees techno-organic as a "good thing" and decides to take full advantage and conquer cybertron (probably out of spite/vengeance as the autobots betrayed/left her and decepticons only used her for what she could provide, with that being the triple changers) [what a tangled web we weave]
At first she tries to create techno organics straight up from protoforms/cybertronians but it doesn't work [trukk not munky/rise of the predacons]
In an attempt to continue her plan she continues but accidentally makes a virus that leads to a plague that appears to affect regular cybertronians [bumblebee prime]
It is possible that (just like in beast wars) the cybertronians had to evolve, so the allspark (and maybe some other cybertronain scientists like a regretful blackarachnia) create the first few techno organics. BUT in this future they couldn't get it right because the thing that separates the two timelines isn't just a warning it's SARI. SHE IS THE KEY. SHE IS THEIR FUTURE.
HECK, since it seems the spacebridge seems to be transwarping everyone into different dimensions, why not also time? A future Cybertron conquered by Megatron (Unamed future episode) could have caused the autobots to become desperate, send a ship away from the planet and the only (one of the only) successful techno-organic protoform (Sari) gets launched out (like beast wars) and lands in Sumdac tower
Obviously this is all speculation and who know what would've happened with Hasbro looming over the TFA team but I feel like narratively, we can find many ways that Sari connects back to the Beast Wars transition/evolution. If only DJW was still here with us.
And yes I recognize this may be more of a timeline than a theory, sue me, I'll find a way to make combiners work in this universe too. Sorry for the long comment.

Spectacular spiderman and transformers animated two cartoon series that didn't deserve to be canceled they deserve to have second chance but we have to accept the sad reality they will never come back but they will always be in our childhood

The thirteen wasn't really a fleshed out idea until the binder of revelation. Thier were for 7ish of its members before that point (one of which, Logos Prime would be ignored by everyone everyone who isn't funpub) so I highly doubt he hated them at the time of working on animated. I can see him growing to hate them after they were popularized by the aligned continuity though.
From what I understand, Derrick thought the Primus backstory was stupid and nonsensical. That it over complicated the Transformers mythos and contradicted the G1 backstory of them just being simple robots that were built by an alien race called the Quintessons. The funny thing is, Derrick’s actually in the minority on this opinion. See the Primus origin isn’t a recent addition, it dates all the way back to the original marvel transformers comic. When online fandom became a thing in the early 90s, fans at the time found the comic’s origin more interesting than the cartoon’s. So the story of Primus and the 13 became the official backstory for the Transformer race in basically every iteration except Animated.

Is it wrong if I like both origins? Primus and Unicron are badass, but the Quintesson origin is a neat reversal of the robot revolution story, with the robot rebels being good instead of evil.
@@johnnygyro2295 I’m partial to the Primus story myself. It makes the transformers feel like living organisms with their own mythology, not just machines built in a factory. Though I’ll admit the Quintessons are an interesting concept. Honestly, the both are solid origins in their own way and liking one shouldn’t invalidate the other
From your point of view do you think that normal auto bot and decepticons would be created along side the maximal and predacons?
I think that would be the case. Maybe over time, more Maximals and Predacons are created and you get them as more predominant.
Solid theory, I really wish the show would have continued.

The show itself has been hinting at all of this since episode 1 basically with an energon conservation order by cybertron preventing the autobot ship from activating it's weapons. Prometheus Black attempting to make organic transformers, Blackarachnia's whole story, why the Allspark brought the transformers to earth. I personally think that Sari is a protoform from the future the allspark has been pushing towards since they use transwarp technology which is known to travel through time as well back in beast wars so it may have sent a signal in the future or past to have a protoform appear in sumdac's lab. heck the allspark's plan probably also had it be shattered to make the techno organic energon that's super efficient

I don't personally think the Allspark was behind Sari's creation, but rather was perhaps inspired by her creation. The existence of Sari was proof to the Allspark that techno-organic life is not only possible, but quite adaptable/advantageous. Then again, Blackarachnia existed in her altered state long before Sari was born.
Regardless, I have a theory about her origin, that relates to subspace storage. In the very first episode, Megatron gets his right arm blown off by Starscream's bomb, and then we don't see that arm again for the rest of the episode. Presumably, Megatron grabbed the limb and subspaced it so it could be reattached later. However, he's sent plummeting to the Earth. Professor Sumdac never found Megatron's body or his right hand, only his head. Yet when we see Megatron's head in Sumdac's lab later, the skeleton of Megatron's right hand is inexplicably present.
My theory is this: if control of subspace storage is mediated by a mech's processor, and the head is separated from the body in death, then as the components start to rust and decay, items stored in subspace will gradually be shunted out and reappear in unoccupied spaces near the head. Items stored more deeply or carefully will take longer to reappear than items tossed into subspace haphazardly.
This would explain why a protoform could appear a full 11 years before the Autobots reactivated, and more importantly, 11 years before the Allspark was no longer properly quarantined/dormant; 11 years before Sari made contact with the Allspark and gained the Allspark key. 11 years before said key "accidentally" revived Megatron's head. Prior to the awakening of the Autobots, I would argue that the Allspark had very little influence on Detroit or Earth, as all other advanced technology invented by Sumdac before that point was reverse engineered from Megatron's head.
As for where Megatron obtained the unusual protoform... I don't know. It could've been an experimental solution to the problem of limited protoform resources, or maybe it could've been the progeny of Megatron himself. Sari's out-of-place hair color certainly matches Megatron's dark red accents... And Megatron, throughout his captivity in the lab, repeatedly creates new cybertronian life forms. Even if the reasons are nefarious, and the consequences sometimes unintentional, the results are indisputable, and were in fact enabled by the Allspark. I don't think it would have revived Megatron if he didn't possess that desire create life. The Allspark revives Megatron, who makes schematics for frames, which are then built by Professor Sumdac, and augmented/given true life by Sari wielding the Allspark's power.
The Allspark might not know where to go with techno-organicism quite yet, but it finally has a direct envoy in Sari, through which to explore the concept in less haphazard/disastrous ways than Blackarachnia's research...
Optimus trained at the Autobot Academy. Even Blackarachnia says while fighting Optimus that she knew all his moves. Pure textbook Autobot Academy. So, Optimus would have already had some training under his belt. And I can't remember the name of the comic, but he does fight a Megatron in a training simulation (I think) and I believe Magnus said that Optimus scored higher than anyone at that time.
But I do love your theory and I love how it ties into some Beast Wars stuff for Beast Wars was what made me a fan of Transformers..

Part of me thinks she’s a Pretender, and another part of me thinks she was made to protect Vector Sigma.
If they changed their mind for season 4, most likely changes might happen. These are fan guesses for the series might go with or not.
1. Primus: He might be mentioned as a folktale by a veteran Autobot (Kup) and how Unicron was defeated 5 billion years ago. Optimus finds a Key of the Matrix and having Primus guiding Optimus to be leader of the Autobots by creating the Matrix of Leadership. Primus voiced by Peter Cullen.
2. Unicron. He be drifting across in far galaxies and feeding on inhabited worlds.
But, heads for Cybertron when sensing Primus remaining energy across the cosmos. The Decepticons on other planets seeks Megatron for guidances. This triple changer Megatron decided to aligned with the Autobots a temporary truce against Unicron for all Decepticons. But, Unicron destroyed Megatron in battle while special bomb made with unstable Energons that goes off in Unicorn stomach and the bomb is activated by accidentally laser blast from reformatted Starscream (Darkscream) attempted to escape from Unicron belly. Unicron voiced by Frank Welker.
3. Repurposed Autobots or Decepticons teams.
. Dinobots: Grimlock, Swoop and Snarl finds Sari Key recharged on Dinobot island. But, the Key makes slightly smarter and alot bigger than the largest Decepticon like Blackout. Also, the organic Energon they fed on turns them into techorganic Dinobots. Grimlock finds four new Dinosaur animatronics (Kentrosaurus, Brontosaurus, Parasaurulophus and Utharaptor), the Sari Key bring new Dinobots to life. Thanks to Sari Key, the not only all the of Dinobots slightly smarter and bigger than the Decepticons. They realized that Optimus and Primal team are they're allies, they joined the fight against any Decepticons or Predacons. Even Unicorn.

. Swoop voiced by Rob Paulsen.
. Snarl voiced by Eric Bauza.
New Dinobots
.Slash voiced by Erica Mendez, a speedy and battle ready Dinobot who is second in command. She didn't like Grimlock at first, Slash changed her attitude towards Grimlock after he successfully save her from Tactuclus experimental testing facility. Slash is seen protective of her fellow Dinobots everytime Black Arachnia and the Predacons lurking around. She transforms into a Techorganic Utharaptor and her weapon of choice is Hook Blades.
. Slice, a mute Dinobot with a spikey lance weapon and serve as guard of Dinobot Island. She transforms into a Techorganic Kentrosaurus.
. Sludge voiced by John DiMaggio, Dinobot Demolition Expert and the muscle the team. He transfoms into a Techorganic Brontosaurus and his choice of weapon is a Magma Sledgehammer.
. Siren voiced by Cristina Vee, a pacifist Dinobot who loves singing. Unfortunately, unintentionally hypnotizing her friends listening her melody. Siren choice of weapon is a Battle Horn that act like a amplifier microphone, Swoop seem like her singing despite Snarl thinks Swoop dancing to her song is weird.
. Combaticons: A mixed with the G1s, original made ups and Ginyu force. They hired bounty hunters and summoned by Megatron to eliminated Optimus team on Earth.
.Onslaught voiced by SungWon Cho, a pompous and bombastic Combaticon how seeks worthy bounties for glorious battle.
. Swordwing voiced by Carrie Keraren, a aerial Combaticon sword warrior and strict strategic officer.
.Brawl voiced by Patrick Seitz, a heavy tanker and berserker of the Combaticons.
.Vortex voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson, a snarky Combaticon with the ability to generating twisters by spinning his propellers and mentioned to be crazy as Blitzwing by Brawl.
.Crashdown voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, a grumpy veteran Combaticon using a Energon Hammer as weapon of choice and transforms into a Cybertronian Military Tanker
. Former Combaticons.
.Blast Off, offline in battle during the Great War on Cybertron before replaced by Onslaught.
. Swindle, he quit the team because he rather make profits over fighting and replace by Swordwing.
.Maximals
. Optimal Primal voiced by Troy Baker, a clone of Optimus Prime and Black Arachnia first Maximal. But, he is motivated by Optimus to have independent will and freed his fellow Maximals. Later, goes by the name "Optimal Primal" and transforms into a Techorganic Gorilla.
. Rhinox voiced by Travis Willingham, a weapon specialist and gentle Maximal of team. He always seem calm and his strength increased when enraged. He transforms into a Techorganic Rhinoceros.
.Cheetor voiced by Sam Riegel, a former Autobot cop who was experimented on by Tactuclus and turned into a Maximal. But, saved by Optimal Primal and joined his team. He transform into a Techorganic Cheetah.
. Rattrap voiced by Tom Kenny, a former Autobot Con Artist experimented on by Tactuclus and fused with DNA of his pet (Nibble) that turned him into a Maximal. Saved by Optimal Primal and reluctantly joined the Maximals because Optimus told him it be a great start to redeeming himself for his fellow Autobots back on Cybertron. Rattletrap is called "Rattrap" as a joke by Cheetor and the other Maximals like the new name for him. Rattrap decided to just go with it, he redeemed himself in near the end of the season.
.Airazor voiced by Laura Bailey, a Autobot Aerospace Explorer who was captured by Black Arachnia and experiment on by Tactuclus. She is turn into a Maximal with Techorganic Falcon as her alternate mode. Saved by Optimal Primal and joined the Maximals team. She is sophisticated and speaks high vocabulary, she doesn't like Rattrap sneaky scheme and Cheetor impatient nature. But, learns to tolerated and help her fellow Maximals.
. Stream voiced by Ashley Johnson, a former Autobot Underwater Scientist who is captured by Black Arachnia and experiment on by Tactuclus. Mutated into a Maximal with a Techorganic Otter alter mode. Saved by Rhinox from by being attack by Black Arachnia. She see Rhinox as her big brother and shown to be skilled mechanic of almost all machineries.
. Predacons: Original led by Black Arachnia before overthrown by Gigatron. Black Arachnia is mentioned by Gigatron that he threw her to a alternate dimension in a damaged transwarp bridge and believe she is seeking a way back home.
.Black Arachnia voiced by Cree Summer, the first Predacon to born and former member the Decepticon. For a dedicated episode for her is Optimus travel to the future and learn about Black Arachnia taking over with her Predacon army. Galvatron gives Optimus a mixed messages to change the present to alter the future. Optimus gets Optimal Primal to choose his own destiny and turned against his creators. But, Gigatron is inspired by Optimus and decided to persuade his fellow Predacons joined his side instead. In the end of the season Black Arachnia returns to her original dimension and reclaimed her leadership of Predacons. But, choose a peace treaty with the Autobots and Maximals for now.
.Gigatron voiced by David Kaye, a clone of Megatron and decided go with the name "Gigatron". His alter mode is Techorganic Giganotosaur that is from DNA of the theropod skull. He is a charismatic and boastful Predacon with superiority complex.
. Snowcat voiced by Troy Baker, a Predacon strategist with insane laugh and second in command that transform into a Techorganic Bobcat/Lynx.
. Waspinator voiced by Tom Kenny, a Predacon Spy who only joined Gigatron for purpose.
. Quickstrike voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson, a creepy Predacon acid spitting gunslingers and transforms into a Techorganic spitting cobra.
. Terrorsaur voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, a aerial Predacon with desired leadership for the Predacons and transforms into a Techorganic Guidraco.
.Pierce voiced by Jennifer Hale, a Predacon Tracker and Brawler who like chasing quarries for sports. She transforms into a Techorganic Tegu.
. Tarantulus voiced by Richard Horvitz, a former Decepticon scientist Tactuclus who made the Maximals and Predacons. But, he was mutated by Black Arachnia as the last experiment in the transwarp mutation machine. He goes by the name "Tarantulus!"

Oh,btw,when you say Techno organic,I recommend you watch Kantai collection or Azurlane,there are ship girls in them,Girls that Transform into armoured ships. Well,they have Ship Armour on human body,so yeah. It's similar to Sari's battle Armour

This was part of a larger video on the Beast Era - BM's mysteries may come as a video but it's just more of how to find something interesting to say about it.

I think it is still unexplained of how Sari as a protoform came to Issac's laboratory in the first place. Maybe the Allspark somehow made the protoform out of Megatron's parts, while Issac was creating Detroit as a new and improved technolized city. And yes, I already knew that the Allpsark was in lake Eerie for 50 years at that time. But, it could have made itself a self conscious a made a protoform somewhere back at Detroit. Since, it does bring machinery life, and that it is actually sentient, itself. Kind of like how Megatron made the Stunticons and Optimus Prime made the Airealbots from Vector Sigma. Since that Vector Sigma also brings life to machines. Even to all of Cybertron. Besides from Primus and the Quinessons doing that, of course. That probably doesn't sound right to you. I don't know. But that is, if course, my own theory about the protoform's origin.
The Allspark as I mentioned is omnipotent and omnipresent - probably sensed Megatron was there or sensed Sumdac’s experience with robotics made him a good candidate as a father. It probably just sent Sari there - the Allspark also did send them to Earth specifically. So it can just do stuff without a real explanation.
@@RoadRustle I guess your right about that. I was just curious of how the protoform came there in Isaac's lab in the first place. And wondering if I could somehow figure it out of why it was there, as well. It couldn't just have been a coincidence for a simple protoform inside of a little crib just to randomly sit there in someone's lab. And as you said before, it probably sent Sari there because of the Allspark finding Issac to be an intriguing father.
