Boba Fett's BLACK SUIT Explained (CANON)

- This black suit is definitely a cool look for Boba. I hope we get to see some version of this in the Book of Boba Fett show, maybe to disguise himself or to be more stealthy. Today, let's begin a new comic series in canon, from the beginning of the run, Star Wars War of the Bounty Hunters PRELUDE.
Boba is delivering Han Solo to Jabba, however Lucasfilm has created some stories that don't lead to the easiest delivery for Boba.
Han Solo's carbonite freezing cell was breaking down, so Boba pulled over on Nar Shadaa and saw a friend to help him out.
In order for his friend to help, he needed to pay...however Boba didn't have the payment...so...he needed to do a quest for Ragon.
Boba would need to eliminate enemies of Ragon in a gladiator style arena tournament.

I always thought that Han unconsciously used the force to better his "luck" in sticky situations.
@@ryanbrockmiller1648 I don’t think it was ever confirmed that Han Solo was ever Force sensitive. And I’m talking about in the EU.
@@decimation9780 Yeah I don't think so either, it was just always my own opinion and something I thought would be cool. since he always scoffed at the force it would be funny that he would be using it his whole life without even knowing it.
@@ryanbrockmiller1648 Nah. He’s just absurdly lucky. Like it’s the universe giving him his luck, not Force but the universe itself. He’s what inspired the creation of Nathan Drake, luck especially included.
So that’s why it took Luke and the gang so long to decide to rescue Han, he wasn’t at jabbas because it took boba a story of his own to get him there lol
Plus Luke was training everyday to become a Jedi

Boba does look amazing and taking the Jango name was nice. The art has really been good in War of the Bounty Hunters.

I only know his armour was originally white on the drawing board. Funny he has black armour instead in Canon.
No, they made live action suits that were white. Initially they were to be super-stormtroopers.

The black suit would definitely help explain why his armor was different colors between ESB and ROTJ. Unfortunately, it doesn't explain why he had virtually the same ROTJ in the SE-ANH.

These are just some of the differences between the ESB vs. ROTJ costumes:
1. Green Gauntlets vs. Red Gauntlets
2. Brown Cape vs. Green Cape
3. Vest Color
4. Spats vs. Ties
5. Gray Coveralls vs. Lt. Blue coveralls
6. EE-3 Difference.
7. Kill Stripe Colors
8. Jetpack colors
9. Different size dents between the two costumes
10. Girth belt colors
11. Ammo belt pouch numbers and configuration
12. Every piece of armor is painted differently.
13. Shoulder armor and knee armor have different base colors between the versions.
14. Colors and appearance of side belt pouches
15. Differences in the helmet (rangefinder, dental files in rear) besides different paint jobs.
16. Differences in minor details on jet packs (dental files on esb version)

Black makes everything look cooler in Star Wars. Luke's ROTJ drip is unmatched.

5:14 That was a clever use of Boba’s scream from Return of the Jedi. I actually remember watching Variant Comics cover this issue a while ago, but you still managed to tell the story in a unique fashion.

It could work if they make it look similar to the death trooper armor in gloss and texture but maybe make the paint a little more matte.

So, Boba got sent on a side quest and ended up with a sweet black suit? That's why you always do side quests people. Also, the duel wielding blasters at 3:51 is an awesome call back to Jango while he's pretending to be..Jango. Very cool.

I love your use of Boba's RotJ soundbyte. I wonder if the show will address the embarrassment of that moment in some way, such as his jetpack being slightly damaged earlier--kind of like how Rogue One addressed the Death Star having a glaringly fatal weak spot.

I have an idea for a “what if” story. What if obi wan failed to kill General Grevious on Utapau. Maybe he would have gone to Mustafar. So would Anikan still be sent to Mustafar to kill the separatists? That would also allow for a confrontation between the Chosen One and the General of the greatest droid army in the galaxy! I would love to see a video from you about this ;)
