i am surprised kassadin did not feature in this video considering when most people think most broken champions they think of kassadin in his glory days. 99% ban rate, a point and click 2.5 sec silence, 700 range ult, 10 stacks of ult, 100 more base damage and higher AP ratios on his entire kit.
@@HappySack Funnily enough now, at level 18 even when factoring in kassadin's passive, talon still has more magic resistance (meaning if, using kassadin's level 18 stats, you were to convert kassadin's passive into MR, then add that to his base MR at level 18, he'd still have less MR than talon)
One of the most infamous things I remember from league history (besides playing support around the same time) was freshly released Morde rework, the one with dragon. My guy just walked around oneshoting everyone with a single Q attack string. Over and over. And if I recall correctly, he suddenly became the strongest marksman back then, even though he was a melee, non mobile, low range juggernaut.
People always mention the dragon (reasonably so) but fail to mention he got solo laner exp in bot. He would basically insta win by engaging when he hit 6 before everyone

Oh no, the 65% winrate Skarner DEFINITELY had a large enough sample size at that time, it was a crazy time to be alive, I was one of the two Skarner mains back then and well... I had a field day
I played him for a bit but I remeber that with 40 cd you could basically permanently cc someone with only like 0.1~0.2 down time between stuns it was hilarious and had a permanent movement speed boost and shield like karma on urf 😂.
If you're going to include a one day champ, you should include bugged Annie, where she auto-won games because once her passive was filled it stayed filled even after using it. Yes, literally all of her abilities stunned. I remember playing against her before she was disabled, it was not fun.
I remember that when galio hit in 7.21 people were talking on reddit asking if the devs had forgot a zero somewhere in the numbers. Over 50% max hp damage on a ranged, 6sec CD ability was so insane, you dont even see those numbers on ultimates. I also remember that the dev coment on his hotfix patchnotes tried to discredit the idea that it was a typo, can't find those coments for the hotfix anymore to confirm it tho. So insane to think that anyone on the balance team would look at those numbers and think they were ok, most 200 years moment ever imo.
Old AP Gragas, pre-2014 rework. His Q dmg had a 90% AP ratio, his R dmg had 100% AP. Both were aoe and Q had a base 7s cooldown at max rank with an attack speed reduction debuff instead of movespeed. W had a cooldown of 25s and lasted 20s, so with just a lil bit of ability haste you had an always on +70 AD & 18% damage reduction buff at max rank. Zero scaling/ratios. Body Slam had a flat 7s cooldown and dmg scaled with both AP and AD. At the time, Body Slam gave Gragas some of the best mobility in League. Gragas was also amazing at exploiting certain items like Innervating Locket (made famous by Guardsman Bob playing Udyr), DFG, Zhonya's Ring and RoA, while the DFG+Q+ult combo could easily assassinate anyone not building resistances or health in a single combo. New Gragas just doesn't play anything like the old one. 😒
@@andrewkhoury4885 yea Innervating Locket was just as busted on Gragas as it was on Udyr. Back then Graggy had 2 abilities with a 7s cd so he could proc both his passive and locket nearly nonstop. Also there was no need to wait 2 seconds for the cask to grow in power like it does now, the moment the barrel stopped rolling it could detonate at 100% power. And back then there was no aoe indicator on Q showing exactly how big the barrel aoe was.
oh please do more of these, this is so nostalgic, i started back in s2 and reliving all of these item/champ insane numbers is just fun and amusing to relive and listen to.
Those classic splash arts make me so nostalgic and sad. I would pay good money for League Classic. I know it would be busted with how good people are now and how broken kits were back then, but some of the most fun moments of my late teens were spent playing League. I'm 31 now, haven't played League pretty much since the juggernaut rework, and still think about the game often and how much fun it was.
@@obsessedwithcatsfirst time I felt that way(unfair) was kalista release. Made me become a nasus and singed main. Was funny seeing her no longer being able to perma kite
@@soulsemblance3163 I hate Kalista, especially when the player is competent. Really annoying champions, especially wish Shieldbow + Exhaust + peel support. It’s torture playing melee into that.
I can't believe it, no mention of the turret Kog'Maw after the marksman update where the attack speed cap got doubled and Kog's attack speed doubled. You were better off standing in place with Kog and just stat checking the opposing team.
As someone who only picked up aphelios in the past year or so, I have no idea how he was allowed to have 8% lifesteal at level 1 back when he first released
Shocked that season 4 alistar was not in this video. I genuinely think he was stronger than release xin zhao. He also had a 93% ban rate and 7% pick rate for a 100% presence rate
I remember pre-season/Early season 7 Miss Forrune being one of the most broken ADCs ever, it was the perfect storm 1) The new lethality system has just released replacing flat armor pen, and back then they didn't know that they had to always account for ranged champions building their new assassin/bruiser items. In fact, it was mostly this fiasco that led them to debut the concept of giving an item different numbers for ranged and melee champions. 2) She had been reworked and her R actually scaled off an AD build for 1 year then 3) Her Q2 used to always deal double base damage (and higher AD scaling damage than today) ON TOP OF potentially critting and always critting when Q1 kills. I vividly remember my 1-2 lethality item MF's Q2 single-handedly 100-0ing unsuspecting vaynes and sivirs trying to contest waves. It was so bad they almost overcompensated burying the champion some patches later before realizing that taking out the crit mechanic ALONG with the double damage on Q2 (which was what the first iteration of the nerfs in pbe were) would kill the champion's skill expression.
There was a batch when lucian became super broken, his E removed slow debuff and its cooldown was 8 seconds reduced by auto and his Q had larger range with more auto attack range. I remember I used to kill nasus so easily and jax had no chance to land his E
very nice ! i remember an older version of ryze with the e spreading to nearby targets then back the the original, each projectile would proc the old muramana, causing the ability to cost 2k mana but also deal insane single target physical damage!
Leblanc's double silence. Mobility, etc. Kassadin's mobility, burst damage, and yes silence. Invi's mechanic with stacking passive of cleaver on Twitch or Eve's sunfire cape. Udyr/Sona's locket stance switch build Immortal Poppy, etc.
6:07 you didn’t even consider adding LeBlanc’s most broken item to pair with, the Deathfire Grasp. I remember just walking in a bush back then and a LB just 1 shotting me
Irelia forever and always. infinite free no cooldown long range dashes that executes farm, heavy damage, massive aoe damage and slow ult, aoe stun, damage reduction and no effort bonus magic damage to her auto attacks is literally worth 2 champions on one with no weak points in any practical direction. how can she still be like this after so many years is beyond me.
I’m glad you mentioned Skarner. Many of those videos talk only about very old releases, or beta/pre-season 1 champions that everyone knows, and were only available during an era that Riot was still tuning the direction of the game, and there were no stats website around. Skarner rework was during an era that the game was pretty well established, past the peak of S3/S4, and it was the most broken thing of all lol history. His kit and stats alone were already overtuned, but what pushed him even further was the fact that runic echoes, a jungle item that he could really abuse, was also way too strong (I remember mid champions even building it because it was so cheap, and was basically infinite mana+lot of stats). Just to put in perspective how broken Skarner was at that week: Most junglers were not able to have a healthy, AND fast clear, it was a tradeoff, the few who were able to do so had some weakness preventing them to be meta, or had weak ganks (remember, this was upon a meta that farming junglers were basically trolling). Skarner had everything, he could easily clear without losing HP AND mana, he had a strong gank, and there were no champions that could duel him under the rune area. Skarner could do anything, and better than other junglers.
I really would like it if Riot made a game mode wirh every champion on-release/most broken (overloaded) state and see whya happens. I think it'd also be interesting for research to see what would actually not be broken in certain circumstances
Man, Xin Zhao is such a nothing character in my eyes within the world of LoL and yet he’s a nightmare to go against. Then you got Leblanc, a burst mage that can 100-0 you in no time yet has no downtime or risk to get a kill. Yea cool WHY?! At least she has relevance and interesting stuff in lore
@@OnAa3r How you are talking says this..... You were not there when he first came out. That thousand yard stare is not a meme. It is how most feel about that bastard when he was released. Then factor in the bastard could also go AP as well!!! LOL in the early days was the wild west. The only bastard that came close to release Xin is Aphelios. We are not counting beta LOL either. That was broken champ bargain sell back then.
Le Blancs weakness is the majority of her damage is locked on single target. If there’s more than one major threat Le Blanc isn’t the best choice. She’s not a pentakill champion. And even if you get fed if your team falls behind it’s not an easy feat to carry with her because you have to play perfectly as an assassin. Yeah she’s a nightmare in lane, small skirmishes and when she’s free to roam but teamfights is where she falls off and loses reliability because a more enemies means there’s more that can go wrong. TLDR, you want to end your games before going past the 30 minute mark. Otherwise games get waaaay harder to close.
Release Sylas ulting twice in the same 20 sec fight was crazy. Morde taking all your turrets bot off of 1 dragon take. Kalista pre-rework/nerfs. 5.0 atk speed Kog'ma. When Akali could shround under your tower. We've seen some crazy stuff make it to live servers.
An odd note about Leblanc. I remember people going full ad runes. And running 1 Dorians blade. The AP was already high enough so the logic was to give her autos just a little bit more to get the first kill. It was all about the first kill.. cause then if you got that you got an early spell book or whatever it was back then I don’t remember. Then you just snowballed out of control.
I know you gave an honorable mention to weedwick, but he really deserved to be in this vid. That champ was insane, he got to level 6 without being punished, because he could turboclear the new jg safely while most other jgs were literally dying trying to full clear, then once he got lvl 6, he just went to a lane, pressed R, and killed his enemy with a point-and-click ability. It would only get worse from there too, he didn't fall off because once he fully stacked Devourer his on-hit damage (which his ultimate proc'd EIGHT times) would skyrocket. This was a champ made for noobs that had a 60% WR, which really honestly doesn't even do justice to how OP he was because EVERYONE was playing scaling strong clear on-hit champs that built the same items WW was, but WW still dominated them at 60%.
I actually miss old League, you had 1 or 2 champions that were overpowered problems back in 2010 - 2015 but they generally shifted around and got meaningful nerfs. Now everyone just has absurdly high damage and one shot potential because items and runes are so massively overtuned.
Hearing about all of these hotfixes reminds me of that time when Janna got some numbers changed around and, if I remember correctly, she got hotfixed twice within 3 days.
Full Tank Olaf back when his E had no scaling but high base damage. Sigil of Silence LB w/ Deathfire Grasp (it was a 120AP item that had an active that damaged a target and increased all subsequent magic damage to that target for a few seconds). It literally had no counterplay. At all. Tank Ekko. For a while his base damage was high enough that he could still nuke people while using a bruiser/tank build. 4.20 Warwick. This was moreso due to the jungle item changes than the actual champion. There were items that would modify the effects of Smite and allow you to hit champs with it. The red smite caused a debuff on the target that caused them to take a flat amount of true damage on-hit. On top of that, one of the jungle items gave you stacking magic damage on hit (it stacked via champ takedowns and large/epic monster kills). So WW would get his jungle item, hit Level 6, walk up to his target, smite/ult them, and they'd take 3 on-hit procs while suppressed. It was bonkers.
Oh, the good old skarker. I picked him cause I was mad at tanks (And if you can't beat them, join them). Fast forward a couple of days I was a Godlike skarner with over 80% wr in rankeds. The clear speed, CC and damage was insane, you could auto-pilot the champion with little macro knowledge and still win games.
Among newer champions I vividly remember being broken on release is Samira. If my memory serves me right, they had to reduce her ult damage to ONE FIFTH'S of original amount, while removing a handful of interactions like ally dash.
Camille i think holds the record the shortest time to be nerfed/hotfixed. Within an hour of being on the PBE, she was nerfed where her q can't crit anymore. Was so funny seeing her q one shot champions with zero counterplay (and her kit was even way more broken than it is right now back when she came out)
Man im having flashbacks to some of these. There is alot of poor bakance decisisons from back in the day. Side note a Va-11 Hall-A fan? I recognize that music anywhere
Im shocked season 3 Evelynn rework after being useless in season 2 wasn't covered, I remember killing a 300 MR 6k HP chogath instantly with her. It was hilarious how op she was mid she was banned like 99% of games until they nerfed her
Twisted fate before may 29 2009, I genuinely do not know what kind of drug these guys was on but that monster still haunts whoever agreed to test out the game
Season 2 Jax....... Thanks to the dodge mechanic, he could spawn kill the enemy team inside their fountain. I tanked the fountain once for a full 30 seconds to pentakill the enemy team before jumping out. Also original Soraka.... She had unlimited mana and 800pt heals that didn't cost health
This is K'Sante, a champion with 4,700 HP, 329 Armor, and 201 MR, has Unstoppable, a Shield, and goes over walls. Has Airborne, and the cooldown is only 1 second too. It costs 15 Mana. The W CD is even refreshed when he transforms. He has true damage on his passive. Then, when he stacks Armor and MR, he gets Ability Haste too, Ability Haste to his Q, and his spell casting speeds up. Then, he has an AD ratio, so his W…AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Sequel on this vid please! Old Warwick was so silly and frustrating but it was fun to watch clips of the old ww ult essentially be a blink with damage 🤣
On release rework janna on the ardent censer meta, literally took over every lane, insanely high winrate, had to be hotfixed, the changes did the opposite of what they expected them to, overall a mess
One Mordekaiser in s5? That champion was probably the most broken thing I have ever seen. He was a must bann at words and if he actually got picked, he always won. Not to mention he was strong in soloq as well. All you needed was to kill a drake and you could literally summon it
Augh i remember when i qued up for that one game mode where you will use thr same champ and we got lux vs pre nerf Aphel and man it was just chaos. It became a who can one shot the enemy team first and was it so funny just seeing so many laser beams and whatever Aphel throws at you during his ult and the moment it hits every one entered the grey screen. Sad we lost because we lost top and mid lane early on
the Aphelios one I remember all too well. even now after 3 years I *STILL* side-eye Aphelios whenever I see him expecting him to asspull the same shit he had in his debut.
As an aphelios main , you should , he has unexpected damage if he gets to late game even with being behind in gold , but tbh he is very easy to kill and focus , it's a kill or be killed situation
@@sekira4516 lol ,well rn he isn't like that but if he gets his hank on infinite edge and ldr and runnan ... Don't fight... The amount of tanks i see trying to kill me 1v1 is funny
@WholesomeVolibear yeah only cuz ur a loser that chills in yt comments all the time that doesn't mean for someone that comment isn't new to read. First comments ok but that's overkill
Aphelios would be a monster if they gave all his stats back, currently he’s fine but I’d love to see a global turret range and some other stuff come back again
Aphelios: Ooh, now I get the spotlight! Mother Moon, thank you. It’s time to go the next mission, Alune. Alune: It sounds like you! Let’s go, Aphelios. We’ll do them together. When Aphelios was released, I did remember him being a perfect nightmare. Others considered him as the 200 years ultimate terror. Even everyone got scared of him. Luckily, Aphelios mains now exist, so we have the courage to keep up with Aphelios and Alune!
I feel like early days Morgana should get an honorable mention, even if she didn't really broke the game, but she used to have a double stun on her ult for a grand total of 4 seconds, I remember she was def one of the strongest champ in early league days alongside stun evelynn and twisted fate and even some times later she was a consistently banned champ bc of how miserable she was to play against and received a pretty harsh nerf streak at some point
Skarner was arguably the most depressing op champion to ever be released/reworked. There was literally nothing you could do against him in lane. Even ganking was not an effective remedy
I think the most broken champ ever was either rune glave ezreal or release rework Akali. She had a stun on her ult, could use R1 without a target, her Q healed her, her shroud worked on turrets her E dmg was split 50/50 not 30/70 like it is now and her passive gave her energy back! All of that was removed and they of course also nerfed her numbers overtime too.
On release Xin could 1v1 the tower at 4 items it was disgusting seeing the guy just walk to your tower with no minions and start hitting and out healing it with his passive.
My favorite part about ap galio is that they hot fix nerfed the ap ratio to one third and it was STILL TOO MUCH DAMAGE AND HE STILL ONE SHOT EVERYONE IN MID LANE. He was literally a hyper carry tank champ 😂🤣
I'm disappointed you didn't include AP Master Yi. It was so fun playing AP Master Yi that if they don't have any hard CC then I'll just heal back to full health.
Day 1 Diana was a monster. Not to the levels of LeBlanc, but, she was definitely excessively strong. If I recall correctly, she was hotfixed within a day or so of release. My first game of Diana, not knowing what to build or still order, 26/3/10. She was so damn strong.
4.20 ww was so insanely busted, riot apologized with a "we fucked up" note. I remember totally dunking on this guy in ranked duo with my midlaner 3 levels up, perma invading his jungle, destroyed his mid and most other lanes with gangks. he hits 6, he comes near my Jarvan and I'm like (lol wtf he doin) he ults me (it was point and click at that time) and I go 100 to 0. (he applied on hit on every tick of his ult and there was a new jungle item glove thingy that gave insane flat damage on hit). I wrote in all chat "what the fuck is this busted shit" and took the loss after he steamrolled us.
Reworked akali pre nerfs might be the most overloaded champ in history. I'm so glad people didn't figure out how to play / build her faster. Micro stun, true invisibility, execute, 3 dashes, healing, bonus damage, movespeed, auto attack empower passive. There is probably more, I just can't think of it all. Everyone seems to forget about her when talking about most OP champs ever.
Yi AP, I truly defend he was the worst because he was kinda random in lane. Like could hit you for 300 +100%ap while farming or could not randomly, and he had the safe choice to save Alpha Strike when there were only 3 minions to guarantee it, not to mention he was like Kata (tho slower won't like) in teamfights but invulnerable and when he was targetable he was healing for twice his health bar with 300 defenses.
I would love for them to give us a league classic revert available champs and items back to season 3 with balance changes of course. Will be more popular that the 200 years league we have today
Hello! I watch a lot of your content to the point where i just listen to it in the background while doing something else and it’s working fine. Just to ask if your content is intended to also be treated as a podcast while you are writting it ?
Your comment From the beggining made me think, of course almost everytime there’s an overpowered champion, or something breaking the meta or at least making a lot of people mad saying that is something is too broken But then, when was the fairest time en league? When everything was at least manageable or somewhat in the same level, or even of something was OP, has clear counters, there was even a time like that?
Wow, I did not know that about Skarner, use to be a favourite back then, when mobility was WAY less of an issue. Nowadays, EVERY new champ have some dash ability somehow, it's annoying. I also miss old Eve a lot, she had her style and it was awesome :P Now she have another style, and it's ok.
You mentioned it once, not sure which video but maybe you could go over Irelia when she prevented you from auto attacking (was it called 'disarmed') and Akali since I enjoy playing them both 😊😅
I remember playing ap xin xiao. Every 3rd hit would restore over half your hp plus low cds on top of his aa's already lowering them. Was stupid. I also had a buddy who was a professional dota 1 player look at tristana and sion's ap ratios, say they are stupid, then gl and win 20 games straight on both.
Zoe shitshow: We are heavily nerfing Nidalee's spear because one shotting with one spell is not healthy for the game. Years later: Zoe, can one shot you with one spell from a far.
ou yea Skarner after juggernaut update at just some certain time of the game time, he would just perma e aa you in the place, you couldnt do anything after skarner got 3 items And games were longer so it was certain for 100% of the time so he would just perma e 3-4 players in the teamfight
Old Jax could get 100% dodge permanently, not just with his E, making him straight up invincible unless you could oneshot him with abilities because otherwise he'd just lifesteal his HP back during your cds. He could also dodge the fountain turret's attacks so he could just camp spawn after getting the 100% dodge (probably the reason it's a laser that ignores dodge now). I also used to have a very close to 100% winrate with midlane turtle/tiger Udyr (for some reason everyone was sleeping on it and played him phoenix jungle or whatever), before Locket brought him to the attention of pros and got him nuked (it was glorious for the brief time I got to include it in my build tho). My only losses were games in which their entire team ganked mid regularly all at once until I was too far behind to come back in the game, otherwise I could completely ignore the enemy midlaner while farming then reliably 1v5 after 10 minutes, which is around when I usually destroyed the mid t2 turret because I could just ignore the enemy laner and hit it every time my wave crashed. The only counters were silence/very heavy chain CC and very strong auto-attacks from fully farmed adcs late game but I usually already won by then. Those are the two most overpowered things I've ever experienced in League. Stronger than anything I can see in this video. Though the Aphelios ult was juicy. I've also experienced the permanent chain CC Skarner but it didn't scar me like the other two. He reminded me of old Mordekaiser with which I also used to 1v5, but it was trickier than just running in with Udyr.
Release Darius was completely overtuned too. They nerfed it rather quickly though, but i remember getting a pentakill and like 20+ kills on my very first game with him, they did NOT test that champion before releasing it lmao.

Not to mention Locket gragas with spirit visage, he could lane basically infinitely regen so much health with his W
You jus unlocked a couple of my forbidden memories
@@andrewkhoury4885 yea Innervating Locket was just as busted on Gragas as it was on Udyr. Back then Graggy had 2 abilities with a 7s cd so he could proc both his passive and locket nearly nonstop.
Also there was no need to wait 2 seconds for the cask to grow in power like it does now, the moment the barrel stopped rolling it could detonate at 100% power. And back then there was no aoe indicator on Q showing exactly how big the barrel aoe was.
same as Nidalee’s Q
oh please do more of these, this is so nostalgic, i started back in s2 and reliving all of these item/champ insane numbers is just fun and amusing to relive and listen to.
The kid on the playground comparison was perfect.
Realese Aphelios is the closes thing to beta meta i've felt in recent league.
“Recent”, and that was like 5 years ago haha
@@obsessedwithcatsfirst time I felt that way(unfair) was kalista release. Made me become a nasus and singed main. Was funny seeing her no longer being able to perma kite

Release viego pre hotfix was insanely op
The infinite AP Viego oneshotting turrets xD
After emailing you this exact question before, I am EATING with this video
On release Zoe was pretty fucking wild. She was able to pick Redemption AND TP
I can't believe it, no mention of the turret Kog'Maw after the marksman update where the attack speed cap got doubled and Kog's attack speed doubled. You were better off standing in place with Kog and just stat checking the opposing team.
Good old times. If you had a Lulu supp, all you needed was to stand still and kill everyone
As someone who only picked up aphelios in the past year or so, I have no idea how he was allowed to have 8% lifesteal at level 1 back when he first released
He is so nerfed, it doesnt even feel like you are playing the same champion.
Dude was op. His ult could literally oneshot teams and he was one of the best dualists with the red gun + chakram combo.
PLEASE make another one of these vars im begging
Saw the thumbnail. When I talk about BROKEN champs, I always talk about these two. (Pre S1 is a different story in conversations).
According to many people old Xin zhao was the the most broken of all time
followed by old Twisted fate and kassadin.
Old Xin used to basically 100 to 0 you at level 2 with just E + auto + the 3 hits from Q while being unkillable .
Shocked that season 4 alistar was not in this video. I genuinely think he was stronger than release xin zhao. He also had a 93% ban rate and 7% pick rate for a 100% presence rate
I remember pre-season/Early season 7 Miss Forrune being one of the most broken ADCs ever, it was the perfect storm
1) The new lethality system has just released replacing flat armor pen, and back then they didn't know that they had to always account for ranged champions building their new assassin/bruiser items. In fact, it was mostly this fiasco that led them to debut the concept of giving an item different numbers for ranged and melee champions.
2) She had been reworked and her R actually scaled off an AD build for 1 year then
3) Her Q2 used to always deal double base damage (and higher AD scaling damage than today) ON TOP OF potentially critting and always critting when Q1 kills.
Udyr/Sona's locket stance switch build
Immortal Poppy, etc.
6:07 you didn’t even consider adding LeBlanc’s most broken item to pair with, the Deathfire Grasp. I remember just walking in a bush back then and a LB just 1 shotting me
Love the va-11-hall-a music in the background good choice mr editor!!
He's a nightmare if you're a gromp or something
@@OnAa3r How you are talking says this..... You were not there when he first came out. That thousand yard stare is not a meme. It is how most feel about that bastard when he was released. Then factor in the bastard could also go AP as well!!! LOL in the early days was the wild west. The only bastard that came close to release Xin is Aphelios. We are not counting beta LOL either. That was broken champ bargain sell back then.
@jonathanmarshall2860 i just mean right now, brother. The glory days are long over 😥
@@OnAa3r He can still be a nightmare though usually he’s fed and has so much sustain at that point
I main Aphelios and I'm so pissed I wasn't playing the game when he was released. I never got to experience him at his peak
Wasnt fun to play against. His ult could literally oneshot the entire team
If my memory serves me right, they had to reduce her ult damage to ONE FIFTH'S of original amount, while removing a handful of interactions like ally dash.
i remember back in the day when one of tf’s basic ability was a global teleport. early cheese bot was so much with a premade group
Whoever includes the soundtrack from Va-11 hall-a in these videos needs a massive raise
Was looking for someone to mention Va-11 Hall-a. Soundtrack slaps
Game mode specific but... Urf Sona of the olden days still haunts me to this day.
Love that VA-11 HALL-A music in the background
Season 2 Jax....... Thanks to the dodge mechanic, he could spawn kill the enemy team inside their fountain. I tanked the fountain once for a full 30 seconds to pentakill the enemy team before jumping out.
Also original Soraka.... She had unlimited mana and 800pt heals that didn't cost health
Joooo was that the cyberpunk bartending mix as background music? i love that shit I listen to it on repeat so many times already.

No he didn't, don't lie to me.
This brings an interesting potential scenario where they make a mode where every champ is set to their strongest version
Omg, a new section has arrived, "The history of the broken" I can't wait to see the viktor's rework, where the passive gives him % extra AP
Irelia rework getting hotfixed before I even got home from school to play the champ was something else
Skarner was arguably the most depressing op champion to ever be released/reworked. There was literally nothing you could do against him in lane. Even ganking was not an effective remedy
most op is obv 6 sunfire cape evelynn, becuz its hilarious
Goated VA-11 soundtrack in the background.
haha the footage from that "i am bad at lol" Cholera Ninja Video "'Be a Man" xD
That guy was too funny back then.
Xin Zhao also came out when you could stack Black Cleavers
Man old sion and poppy still haunts my nightmare
I'm disappointed you didn't include AP Master Yi. It was so fun playing AP Master Yi that if they don't have any hard CC then I'll just heal back to full health.
Reworked release Akali and on release Zoe. Akali invis under turret and Zoe one shot from 3 screens out gave the community hell
OLD LEAGUE 🐐🐐i remember playing old xin full ap and facetanking turret without minions (turret lost)
Fun fact : they made xin zhao stupid op on wild rift S0/release too!
Day 1 Diana was a monster. Not to the levels of LeBlanc, but, she was definitely excessively strong. If I recall correctly, she was hotfixed within a day or so of release. My first game of Diana, not knowing what to build or still order, 26/3/10. She was so damn strong.
Diana barely changed even to these days, only numbers thats it, nothing special with Diana...
oh my gosh the VA11 Hall-A ost in the back :0
4.20 ww was so insanely busted, riot apologized with a "we fucked up" note.
I still wanted to see an interview with the rioters responsible for 7.21 Galio, that shit was spectacular to witness.
When post VGU ap irelia ran rampant that was insane
Hello! I watch a lot of your content to the point where i just listen to it in the background while doing something else and it’s working fine. Just to ask if your content is intended to also be treated as a podcast while you are writting it ?
Want to see Kassawin
Your comment From the beggining made me think, of course almost everytime there’s an overpowered champion, or something breaking the meta or at least making a lot of people mad saying that is something is too broken
But then, when was the fairest time en league?
Zoe nor Sett not being on this list is criminal
Zoe shitshow: We are heavily nerfing Nidalee's spear because one shotting with one spell is not healthy for the game.
Years later: Zoe, can one shot you with one spell from a far.
Vars gonna milk nostalgia out of us we're keep coming back for more help
ou yea
Skarner after juggernaut update at just some certain time of the game time, he would just perma e aa you in the place, you couldnt do anything after skarner got 3 items
And games were longer so it was certain for 100% of the time so he would just perma e 3-4 players in the teamfight
I remember Galio, that Galio bullshit still lingers me even these days.
I’m surprised you didn’t go over kassadin in this video, or twisted fate when his current r was his e
Release Darius was completely overtuned too.
They nerfed it rather quickly though, but i remember getting a pentakill and like 20+ kills on my very first game with him, they did NOT test that champion before releasing it lmao.
Also pretty sure his q was instant at some point
