    57:20 A worm gear style (Torsen) limited slip diff will act like an open diff when applying force to a tire up in the air. It has to have the torque coming from the drive pinion, and at least some resistance on one wheel for both tires to "lock" and spin in the same direction.

    • @Skwisgar2322
      @Skwisgar2322 Год назад

      Which makes it terrible for rock crawling as there are often times one wheel will be in the air.

    • @rhekman
      @rhekman Год назад +1

      @@Skwisgar2322 True. They're great on snow, ice, mud, etc - varied traction situations. Still better than an open diff off road. You can apply a little brake, and torque will be sent to the grounded wheel. A locker is still the best since 100% of torque can go to either wheel on a driven axle.

    That magnet is what a Veterinarian would put in a cow’s first stomach to collect metal that the cow would eat along with the hay and grain. Not that cows are supposed to eat metal, but sometimes it happens.
    I’ve painted a 1979 F-150 with a roller with Rustolium farm and implement paint. I painted it in the morning outside on an 80 degree day and it was a little tacky still at night when I drove it in the garage. It looked like tinted bedliner when it was completely dry.
    Ford in the 90’s had problems with oil pans rusting out from under the paint.

    My friend Brad and I did something a little like this but for Tuff Truck Racing. We built a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.9 Magnum 360. We kept it mostly stock but got rid of the Ram body and replaced it with mostly sheet metal and Jeep CJ body panels. I GUARANTEE the doors (at least for mine) weighed WAY MORE than 50lbs. I still remember how it felt picking them up and throwing them off my trucks bed only to see the door bounce off the glass instead of shattering it lol.

    if the oil pan still seals, you can seal it against a flat surface (clean all the oil off it, of course), put a thin epoxy on the exterior, and pull a vacuum through the drain hole until epoxy cures. You can opt to glass it afterwards, but not required.
