Josh is one cool cat. And the bumble is one cool ride, even if it is technically a minivan. Bleepin Matt is it OK too… Hello, Hope! It is good to see you on these videos.
Matt your wife has a great smile ! Keep her smiling and laughing because she is great to support you and feed you those awesome meals ! Trying to get my wife to do the same ! 😁
Hey guys, great job on the WJ build. I have a tip for you . I have discovered that it is a easier and cheaper to install your rear windows on your off-road vehicles using some clear Gorilla silicone caulk, instead of using the factory style urethane, Silicone allows for more flexibility and less chance of breaking a window during body flex. Some people may argue against this,. But after a bit of research I found that Gorilla silicone caulk and also GE silicone caulk are both commonly used for building fish tanks as large as five hundred gallons. And along with it it being only about one third of the cost of polyurethane, silicone caulk is usually available at almost any hardware store.
Having seen this fine machine wheeling already, I’m super happy to see basically the full build. This thing crawled effortlessly where other VERY well built machines spun or struggled. Fine job. Beyond being the best WJ in the world, I would say it seems to be one of the best jeep builds period. Obviously that’s a bit of stretch, I’ve not seen every jeep build wheel, point being it’s 10/10 at very least.
I love these longer videos. Its a long as a movie! You guys are my favorite when it comes to the fabrication/building side of offroading. Josh has a hell of a rig now, i think hes gonna love it, yall did a fantastic job on this.
From day one hope has made this journey with him..she is a great part of his talent. Great build..the food is her part to make the channel complete... excellent
Wow! You guys are definitely doctors at this. Fair to say that building a WJ is WAY MORE involved than building a Wrangler (CJs included), but you guys turned out a master piece!!! Congrats on an awesome build and thanks for sharing and taking us along on the journey.
Talking about driving with the fuel tank behind the seat, in the early models. Canadians return home, usually with three to five, five litre plastic fuel cans packed in the back of their minivans. Only heard of two fiery mishaps.
I grab the diet DP. Foam board is a great idea for templates. If you peal the paper off one side, sometimes you can get lucky and leave indents from pressing into the part your gusseting or whatever 👌
You two are giving me motivation to mod my WJ. Nothing as awesome as what you all have done. Also I am making sure to vote as often as they will allow me to so you and Colt can mat the trip.
That was one hell of a journey. You guys definitely build some sick stuff. Cool suspension, cool custom skids, cool bracketry and exhaust and everything. Just overall an awesome viewing experience and I’m sure it’s been fun as hell to build!
Josh repeatedly bumps his head and tells Matt he needs a doctor. Matt runs to the cooler, grabs Josh a Dr. Pepper. Sick build guys 👍👍 I'm super jealous.
Wow! It was cool! I'm currently building a Jeep zj and doing a similar suspension. I was just thinking about making the same protective plate between the traverses) And now I know how to route the exhaust pipe past the rear arms) P.S. Greetings from Russia!)
Plug welds every 6”x6” is what I was gonna suggest, but what you did is just fine. And it is stronger with the two plates, It’s like having a tubed radius arm compared to a single piece forged arm. The longitudinal flex is basically eliminated because it’s braced from two places with a tiny “gap” that helps with your leverage……. Maybe that makes sense. I guess a tubed radius arm isn’t the best example, but that’s all I got lol
@@bleepinjeep my pleasure 😎 I let myself get too frustrated occasionally, but I’m real good at explaining how other people are wrong 🤣 not really, but I get a kick out of how upset they get.
This was a great build. Can't wait to see how this thing does on the trail. My son has a 2002 and he's thinking about getting rid of and I think I'm going to purchase from him and maybe do a build myself. Definitely not going as extreme as bumble but I think it would be a good little crawler. thanks for the great contact Love the channel.
Tell Hope "yes the internet thinks she is special". You make sure you remind her often. She adds great laughs to bj. Yall have made a cool wj. I respect the amount of time that has been put into this. Can't wait to see it on the trail.
Thick plate will be stronger than two plates that sum to the same thickness. Think about leaf springs. Many thin leafs flex much better than a few thick leafs. Just thought I’d share from an engineers brain!
I just put in my vote for bleeping jeep, I wanted to do my part to help #bleepincolt fulfill his dream of being part of ultimate adventure. Ps I think they should let all three teams come along, and see which rig survives the best and is the best to live out of for the trip.
CANNOT wait to see Bumble in action. I'm a wj fan!😂 I just ordered brake lines from iro, amongst some other goodies, and it was only 150ish. And you had double the lines. Did I forget some😮
As long as you dont just go balls to the wall on the Dana 44’s with 40’s you should be fine especially with the rcv 35 splines up front and a good chromoly in the rear drive should become the weak spot…….. plus with the 44 housing you are going to have better ground clearance then with one tons
i had the older grand cherokee on a 6 inch but thats nothing to this i really like this thing you got me searching for one now hahha if it was mine i would cut them bars of the side of the bumper though lol how much would you say you got in the whole jeep?
That area that isn’t black underneath the jeep should have been painted orange like your colours. Thst would have looked sweet with the rest of the black
Awesome build! I see some cracking in the new shop floor, how bad was it? I've had one appear in my new floor but it didn't shift, that's all I was worried about
"Do you know why manhole covers are round?" I asked that question to about four of my buddies while riding bicycles around the University campus one night about midnight. My most sarcastic buddy replied, "Yeah, to cover them little round holes!!!"
Impressed with your skills. Is there a video outlining where you guys learned to fabricate and build? It's fascinating stuff for my detail-oriented brain. It is possible, however, that you may be needing some sleep.
Well, you’d just have to watch the last 1200 videos to see the progression, but if you search for the Bleepinjeep scorpion crawler playlist a lot of fabrication started in that series.
How well does that Rust-oleum (brush on) can hold up against rust and the elements? I use the spray can equivalent, but find that it doesn't hold up that great! (I live in FL with high humidity and jeep lives outside in the driveway).
Josh is one cool cat. And the bumble is one cool ride, even if it is technically a minivan.
Bleepin Matt is it OK too…
Hello, Hope! It is good to see you on these videos.
So, you’re basically saying we’re all cool?
Basically.
Basically I just wanted to say basically 🤪
Zing! 🙃🙃
We think Hope is special because she is. Such a beautiful smile.
Matt your wife has a great smile ! Keep her smiling and laughing because she is great to support you and feed you those awesome meals ! Trying to get my wife to do the same ! 😁
And thanks for the exhaust noise warning. I’m sitting in my car with quite the sound system. That would’ve hurt!
Should build a swinging crane inside the big door for loading big parts like that!

Thank you very much!
This WJ build is AWESOME!

Well we are now neighbors! I am building just around the corner from you. Had no clue until I drove by this morning and saw the toys out side.
Hope's laugh is a joy and delight.
This is a sweet build, I’m glad you kept the stock headlights

Shop is looking better all the time.
Invest in some bump caps. They are a thin plastic shell that fits inside of most ball caps. Save some scalp with them.
Lol, I saw those but neither of us wear caps especially with all the welding and grinding gear going on and off all day.
@@bleepinjeep they do tend to get in the way at times. But ive saved some hide on my bald head by wearing one lol
Pro tip when you use Glue like that cut of V in one side so that it comes out like a Pyramid and then it crushes against the pinchweld correctly

I wanna build my 96 Dodge like this. May have to send some axles to Red Scorpion down there .
That First Aid Kit was bought just in time! ⛑️🤦🤕
This is the content I really like, you teach and I learn, and its entertaining. Love the build videos! rock on!
I wish that IRO had a tailpipe kit when I installed the 4 link on my ZJ. I ended up running a Magnaflow race muffler with a modified Dynomax tailpipe.
Ya, it’s a pretty cool setup and not as loud as we had expected
that was a really terrific video, really enjoyed it all a lot

Glad you enjoyed it! More to come on the WJ but first, on to the s-10!
Just make sure you have the windows down when wheeling great video keep up the good work God bless from GA and stay safe 🙏
That red scorpion place is literally around the corner from me. I had no clue about it haha
Now you know!
Josh repeatedly bumps his head and tells Matt he needs a doctor. Matt runs to the cooler, grabs Josh a Dr. Pepper.

The Dr. is in the house!
Good job guys that wj was good before butt is going to be a great rig real soon

Shoutout to DTill! Affordable bumpers and amazing quality💪 the WJ is coming out amazing!
Yes they are! It was a time saver for sure an looks great too.

Ya that was my thoughts too but there’s at least one other guy here in the comments with the opposite idea…. You guys will have to battle it out 💪🫵

nice job guys! josh is great.
if ya wrap the strap around the axles on the ends, dont think they`ll move much.

30:00 Ah I liked the rear bumper (hitch) you guys made first!!

Looks frivkin awesome guys! Y'all do great work
Thanks so much!
Great build video. Looks like a lot more time than I have right now.
Very nice build!
I did the opposite of Josh and went from rocky CA to south FL. Can't force myself to get into mud trucks.
Did No realize you were such a good fabricator/welder. Addicted to your channel tho as of recent.
Thanks
After the axle builds you could change the name of the fuel cell to scorpion in honor of the team
LOOKING GOOD👍👍
Great stuff. Never seen the new style joints installed.
awesome work guys!
Thick plate will be stronger than two plates that sum to the same thickness. Think about leaf springs. Many thin leafs flex much better than a few thick leafs. Just thought I’d share from an engineers brain!
Ya, but what it the leafs are welded together, then they can’t flex like a bunch of little leafs and the weld adds to the surface area.

I think this was my favorite new rig at EJS this year. #VanLife 😁

Mine were custom made at a place here in Knoxville....that would be tge price difference Im guessing
@Josh Shine right on bud, thank you for bringing the build to us.
There was a lot more line too because Josh went all the way up the control arms so everyone was custom length almost all the way back to the booster.
Good stuff you know you're into it when you're puffing the slag fumes in and out, dang.
I really like your reconstruction on the front end of the general and I also wish I had a set of toe hooks for my 93ZJ with a 5.2 .
Fireball tools did a comprehensive test on weld splatter sprays.
The solid 1/4 inch plate is stronger in bending.
Good morning ya'll

Ask Josh if the Bil'stine' name is similar in any way to the Hol'stine' cow thing.
Boat tank ratchet strapped to I-bolts through the frame in the back seat…. Good times
That area that isn’t black underneath the jeep should have been painted orange like your colours. Thst would have looked sweet with the rest of the black
Heck ya outstanding work
Matt your wrong and the mechanic is right about the shock pronunciation liking the content brother keep up the good work
Was it bernstein bears or bernstain bears??
Awesome build!

Saludos la wj se ve brutal 🇵🇷✌️
Matt, have you tried that trim and chassis paint that harbor freight sells? I tried it recently and that stuff is awesome. The finish is like glass!
No, this was the tractor paint, what is the trim and chassis? Is it different?
Great review.
Just out of curiosity you should get it weighed. It seems pretty heavy.
Big fan of the wj thanks for the content i really do appreciate it
Very nice!
Thanks for sharing.

That is a bad ass jeep
Awesome vid! Where the seats come from? Been searching high and low for replacement seats for my WJ... Thanks!!!
You need to lady bug Josh's wj with ladybug 🐞 vynal
DRILL HOLES IN YOUR SKID PLATES. It needs drainage.

It's science ! lol 😂
thanks for Holly
you guy's are way to young to have those kinda fabrication skills !! unbelievable !!
I would have used the manual Ox lockers.
