at the caravan site theres a lot of emi u would not hear the coin past 10 inches if on full sensetivity only use full sensetivity out in the field not in an air test.

Dont waste time on air testing, it is pointless, both machines are very good the equinox picks up fare to much micro trash its id scale is far to tight, the rutus on the other hand can be tweaked far better, most sites i do depth dont mater minerals kill most depth might test 14 inch in the air but 6 in soil, thats why air tests are irelivent, unless setting tones,

I hunt with my nox 800 at 23 and 24 on my Sens.
now ive had the nox nearly a year im now running 25 sensetivity it just takes a while to learn it fully to understand the tones.

Air tests don't mean anything.
They just give u a rough test of how sensitive the detectors are
Not a good test. The nox 800 goes to 25 on the Sens. Why did you only put it at 20???

your going the wrong way against the coil mate
I've tried both ways up and down and side to side with exactly the same results
