this should have won a Grammy.... songs are Very one so big on metal heath related stuff on western, but nothing even come close to this level of crystal clear story telling, simple amazing lyrics but detailed like raps... vocals that's full of emotions...

Minami is a great example of how music transcends linguistic borders. I don’t need to understand Japanese to appreciate the music. The emotions come across through the music itself
Minami reminds me a lot of Aimer's voice, another amazing artist that I love. When I say a lot, I really mean they sound like they could be twins in secret. No wonder I was attracted to Minami's voice in an instant.

What I understood from listening and reading the song while you were watching. At the beginning it sounds like she had an experience when someone says she could relax and be herself, but says that was a trap(they didn't accept her for who she was?). She then is concerned with creating an ideal image of herself she presents. Even if it means lying to herself and others. However, not only does this make her feel hollow inside but in doing so her image gets away from her. She realizes the person other people see is not her ideal image of herself and not her true self. It's a doppleganger. She feels like she's at the point of no return and has no choice but to perpetuate this image she's created of herself. At the end of the song she's attempting to remedy that by being honest with herself and not lying anymore. Whether she can successfully do that is the question she leaves us with. (There is more to dissect in this song, and I am not a native speaker but this is what I picked up!)
