I am only using the 7t, been five years. Really responsive to use. Only issue is that it doesn't support 5g. Had to replace the battery after 4yrs though. Still works great.

I'm still using the 7T, the camera is a bit behind modern standards and battery is not the same after 4+ years of use but its incredibly resposive and fast. It runs on Android 12 but with any Android 14 ROM it will be better than some low and mid range 2024 smartphones

My old 7T was my phone for first testing out custom Android ROMs. I didn't want to risk bricking my 8T daily driver at the time. I remember Flamingo OS being my favorite and most stable. It also made the fingerprint scanner FAR more usable than the stock ROM. Though like with every custom ROM I tried, battery life was always notably worse, especially in standby.

Are banking apps working for you after installing a custom rom and if not, has anyone tried any workaround to make them work? I've been out of the custom rom game for years and I've heard they've really cracked down on such users. I have spare 8T laying around and thought I should install a custom rom (non-rooted) on it to get some of the smoothness back.

Everytime I'm considering buying a new smartphone, I notice that there are very few things bothering me on the 7T like the battery drains a little bit too quickly and that it doesn't get updates for Android anymore. It still runs very fluently with all the apps I need.

The OnePlus 12 is a great phone. It's one of the best. Just wish they would make Oxygen OS like they used to and make similar decisions like did with the 7 series. It's definitely gone a different direction and the phones are great, it's just stagnant 😅

I should also note that I'm using a OnePlus 11 as my daily driver. It's an awesome phone and I love using it. Just miss what OnePlus used to be and stand for 🥲

The main thing I don't like about the 10T is the alert slider is gone. The phone itself is really nice especially that fast charging. I'm sure you'll enjoy your time with it regardless!
