In agreement with you, that price transparancy and general price differences/price competitiveness among networks is the main problem. I'm mostly using Tesla network due to transparent and good price vs. other networks where prices vary (except for a few known chargers in specific areas)
In poland i sometimes have to use Orlen and Greenway. Very expensive but unavoidable. In all other cases i use Tesla. Transparent and always visible how much, what is free, how they are available, which are broken, which will be in use when i visit them in 1 hour.
@@wolfgangpreier9160 In Poland I also use mostly Greenway, but I was genuinely disappointed how bad the infrastructure is in polish cities. Very few chargers and some very hard to find. In Renoma in Wrocław there is a charger in the multi level garage, but no signs that I could follow. Same in Kraków, in the Kazimierz shopping mall there are 2 chargers, but good luck finding them. Overall in Poland there is a mess with special rules for EVs. Different cities execute them differently and it is very easy to get a ticket.
@@TomaszJakubKusienicki Yes and yes, that is why i charge at the train station for free (you have to know...) or at Orlen on the Autobahn. Sometimes in the North it has to be Greenway. Both are expensive. But i or my employees use them rarely.
I have being driving a modX100 for 7 Years I never ever had a problem of charging and pricing. Why not to buy the leader in EV. I am sorry your YD is under-complex
Hi, that is a fair point, tesla owners who only use tesla superchargers will not experience any of this. I drove Model 3 many times and I even reviewed Model Y on this channel and overall I quite like Tesla cars. That said, model X and S are too expensive for me and Model Y and 3, even though they are great EVs, are lacking some fundamental functionalities and refinement I expect from a car. Please, have also in mind that in some regions limitting yourself to tesla superchargers is actually quite annoying, I see teslas chargining at non-tesla locations all the time.
@@TomaszJakubKusienicki "are lacking some fundamental functionalities" like what? "limitting yourself to tesla superchargers" That is not possible in poland, but then we often charge for free on public chargers. Funny thing with those free for all chargers. We in Austria do not have them - sadly. I have ditched all other EVs like Skoda, Fiat and Peugeot in gavor of Tesla. They just work. All others - partly.
@@wolfgangpreier9160 This is somewhat subjective, but I prefer Polestar 2 over Tesla 3/Y for a few resonas: 1. better autopilot & overall safety suite 2. actual rain sensors & parking sensors 3. 360 cam 4. more comfortable seats 5. better interior finish 6. better ergonomic 6a. stalks (!!!) 6b. physical vents control 6c. more buttons on the steering wheel and in the cabin 6d. driver's display 7. fantastic google maps integration on both displays 8. google assistant and probably a few more. @@TomaszJakubKusienicki "better autopilot & overall safety suite " Sorry, that is not correct and i can prof it every day with many tests from EuroNCAP, Pacific NCAP, even ADAC. "actual rain sensors & parking sensors" Sorry, not correct, you must have tested a "old" Tesla from before 2023. The Software has improved significantly and rain sensors and parking work flawlessly now. "360 cam" Again, not correct, you mean virtual surround view. Vision only presents a world view of your surroundings.ö But not a virtual view like Ford, Toyota or Polestar. "more comfortable seats" Can not say anything about that. I can only say i can not sit in a polesatr for extended lengths because the middle console is to wide. Same problem as the Smart. "better interior finish" Can not say anything about that. A car is a tool. I do not look or care for Deutsches Spaltmaß. "better ergonomic" No. As i said above i can not sit in a Polestar. "stalks (!!!)" - sorry i stop here. @@wolfgangpreier9160 There is really no need to get defensive about this. As I said, it is subjective, you do not have to feel the same way. The point with the central consol is actual a good one, it definitly creates a sporty feeling, not everybody will like it. To be honest there is not that many good EVs on the market IMHO. I was really considering only Polestar 2, Volvo XC40/C40 and maybe BMW i4 or Tesla Model Y. I am really disappointed with all current VW products (I heard that id 7 is good but it was not on the market back then), if you want to hear more you can check out this video: ruclips.net/video/MjNL-SUmaJY/видео.htmlsi=S2dGp2Ye46KzmdXP&t=157

I wonder if it will improve itself at some point or if some regulation will be needed.

@@wolfgangpreier9160 Good tip. I do not drive a lot in Poland, but maybe someone here will be able to use it. 👍
42 euro, yet 85P in the UK
That is a huge difference... Is the chargning infrastructure any good in the UK?
