- A friend of mine saw oak side tables on the internet that he really liked but the size of them didn't fit the space he had. He asked if I could make him bespoke tables to his own specifications.
This is the video of how I made these bespoke Oak Side Tables.

And there's that tradesman difference showing through again. Great stuff. Really enjoyed watching them come together. Cheers PP
I'm glad you enjoyed watching. It's just what I do 🤷🏻♂️
Nice pair of tables to match up with the tv stand you made in the previous video, some nice tools on show as well, some expensive cutters in that spindle moulder. Nice trick with the sash clamp in the vice to hold the legs , must remember that one 🤣
Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge with us 👍
I love the spindle moulder and I spend a fortune on tooling for it.
The clamp in vice is a great tip and it's surprising how many people don't know about it.
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Lovely pair of tables Rob, the miters where spot on crisp.
Thanks Karl, great to meet you after watching you on RUclips for so long 👍🏼
Wow, Rob that was a great video and you showed your woodwork skills in so much detail
Glad you enjoyed it Pat, it's nice to be making furniture again
Déjà vu watching the first 5 minutes 😉 nice work on these!
You caught me out. Making the legs and rails was the same process as the tv unit so I recycled the footage.
Hope you enjoyed it despite me cheating 👍🏼
@@spendtimesavemoneydiy Not cheating at all, makes total sense to do so!
@@PeterStoba glad I'm forgiven 👍🏼
Nicely done, they came out great!
Thank you, they were a nice little project. And the customer was very happy with them
👍👍👍 Top notch job.Thank you
Thank you, glad you liked it 👍🏼
Nice job !!!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video 👍🏼
Beautiful pair of tables. They'll go lovely with the console table you made previously. Love the shape of those legs. Probably a silly question but when you were cutting the corners of the tenons how did you know how much you were cutting off? Did you have it marked?
No I just cut the corner off and judged it by eye 👁️
