@BenGravyy sick trip dude. I live and surf in Chiba and a 7 foot softtop is insane fun for most days of the year here. Excellent work on navigating from Narita airoport to the central Chiba coast.

Mayo is a COMPLETELY different game in Japan! It's so different you can even put it on Ice cream!
My wife is Japanese and gets “kewpie” mayonnaise it’s the best! Our local Costco sells it now.

I live and surf in Chiba, lots of good spots all along the Bozo peninsula. If you come here, make sure to go on a weekday since it gets pretty crowded on weekends with all the Tokyo people 🤙🏻

Ben!! probably won’t read this in time but I’m here in Japan, I live in Chiba, been here for 20 years. I surfed that same spot with the Olympic monument on the day you were here, probably just missed you. Anyway , Surfing this weekend, hit me up ,I can take y’all to the cool surf spots, introduce you to some locals, get you some wild dinner choices, show you some of what life in Japan has to offer.

I really enjoyed this vid, some fun small waves. Here on the east coast of Australia we've had some big surf coming of the Cyclone Lola which hit Vanuatu.
