I think it's incredible when you listen to someone like Amy Winehouse and you think you've heard all of her songs before, but then a song comes on through shuffle that you haven't heard before and you get to listen to her voice for that first time again and it just knocks you off your feet with a soul warming wave of emotion. Amy's voice is something to behold and I will never tire of it. What an absolutely stunning cover of this song.

@@photist100My belief is there is a God. It is HE who blessed her with this gift. One cannot learn what Amy had. The timing, voice and cadence. Right down to the off beat cadence in her dance steps. It's how SHE heard it. Indeed, it is so very sad Amy had her sunset at such a young age. She succummed to the thief of addiction desperate for pain relief. She didn't rely on a higher power, but the bottle. No one guided her or led her to seek God. Evil was having a heyday stealing all it could and tormemted her soul. And in that bottle was numbing, false courage, more depression and escape in sleep. Sadly, most made fun of her while thief of addiction stripped her of herself and her total person. Addiction is a dark, horrible existence and the person often wants to stop but can't because it changes the brain. I believe God to be a gentle, merciful and loving being. And Amy now rests safely and in peace under His loving feathers. Shalom ~🕊

i'm not a huge fan of this genre of music, but this 53 year old man tears up every time i see an amy video. so talented. so beautiful. and so tragic. damn she was good.
you can't not love her, as tragic as she was brilliant...rip AMY, truly one of a kind..x
She really, really seemed like a good person, at the end of the day this surpasses the music as the only factor for admiration.
To see her playing with Weller is satisfying for me because I always thought of Amy as a Mod at heart. Her Fred Perry line of clothes is beautiful and a great alternative for women fashion, smart yet carefree. Like Amy.
Forever sad
This 63 year feels exactly the same
❤😢
Some bloody talent here, Amy looks so in control
john robertson totally agree she'd done this before with Paul and she was so at ease and in her zone
04.22 the look of admiration on Weller's face. Stunning version. Definitely one of the best ever performances on Jools Holland....if not THE best.
Yes amazing me and husband danced to this in our living room ew yer sadly lost 5yers ago 2 a brain tumour 52 years old to young 3 kids one so 2 daughters i died on my daughters birthday 29th October we are so glad he was in our lives x
So horribly sad we lost such a talented singer. What a combo here. True Blues here.
I'm 65, this beautiful girl didn't make it. We've still got her fantastic music though. RIP Amy, always be listening x
Good music goes right to our core. Every single person is GOOD on this one.
I have heard very few people in my life who can deliver a song with the understanding and soul that Amy Winehouse could. Genius.
Magical collaboration here. They both sang this beautifully..
I just adore this version ❤Amy...lost talent....😢
I remember sitting at home on my own on new year eve 2006, getting a big warm hug from listening to this song, I was with Jools Holland,Paul Weller & Amy Winehouse, & they were singing directly to me & I wasn’t alone anymore… thank you all❤️💋❤️💋❤️💋
Her voice was so natural, effortless and beautiful! Great singer!
Paul Weller. Can see his in awe with Amy can u blame him wasn’t she just unbelievable (wasn’t Mr Weller handsome,) fantastic piece of music 🎶 ❤
Even Weller can't keep his eyes off of her, what a crying shame she's gone. She had it ALL!!!!!!!!
WOW. I have never seen someone steal a show like that. Oh my gosh this was so stunning I got FULL body shivers and also cried. Just wow wow wow
Her exquisite talent, so massive it couldn't be contained. The world was rationed her brilliance for a limited time but it burned so bright, people will be stunned forever. Jools is an absolute British legend too.
This is a friggin masterpiece.. The power, the pain, the effortless in Amy’s voice hits me in the heart and throat every time.
EASILY her greatest performance! You can really tell how honoured she is to be performing alongside two legends in her eyes. I just love how they gave her to centre stage!!
Always so humble, praising everyone else when she rightfully should be taking space as queen of the stage!
Love and miss Amy you changed my life and saved my soul from drugs and alcohol 😍
I feel like a little smidge of her "spirit" got into Lady Gaga. Do you agree? xo
Her talent far surpasses them , and they are both great!
@@elainem3908 I would have to disagree, as unfortunately she wasn't around long enough to challenge their decades of greatness.
@@631353 I mean her talent is undeniable and her work and legacy heard and praised trough out the whole world… She is at the very least comparable to them
Amy was such a genuine sweetheart. Anytime she performed a duet with anyone she always gave it her all out best despite any struggles she may have been going through at the time. She didn’t always treat herself so well in her own shows. I don’t think she really knew how great she was.
indeed! She was also always incredibly gracious to her singing partner, never attempting to steal the limelight - even though she did through no fault of her own!
Wow never heard this before it’s just beautiful
Paul Weller’s voice is just amazing
And Amy’s is God given
This is master class
She was up there with Billy Holiday & any other great singer past or present
You could not get better than this
The soulfulness in her was just sensational
I absolutely love when she sings this style of music! And yes, tears fall
She brought the band up for sure!
This sent shivers down my spine. Utterly beautiful.

Two geniuses together, with a superb classic tune!!!! Life doesn't get much better than this.......
The Dream Team - Weller and Winehouse and a crack set of musicians. WOW!

One of the best performances I have ever seen. Simply breathtaking.
Hi David how are you doing and how was your day. I'm Patti from Long Beach California. You? I'm looking for new friend ok!
As soon as i hear her voice it makes the hair stand on my hands just a incredible vocal voice ever ❤
Chills this woman's voice was exquisite. Such a loss Amy you'll never know what a legend you were RIP
Amy out did herself. What a singer. There will never be another one like her. It's a shame she's gone. This by far was her best performance
Just revisiting this stunningly beautiful corner of the internet. Amy's 'play with fire' @ 0.40 will never grow old. Nor will the expressions at that moment on the faces of both Paul and Jools who knew they were in the presence and part of something so exceptionally profound. I will never stop missing her.
Yea weller knows
My God that whole thing was beautiful.
Hi Sam how are you doing and how was your day. I'm Patti from Long Beach California. You? I'm looking for new friend ok!
Lost count of the number of times I've watched this. What a beautiful talented lady so sadly missed
Pure genius. Amy. What a wonderful talent taken from us way too soon. Paul Weller and Jools' band are out of this world.
