I had not seen any issues with anything since moving the port to the radiator. its still higher than the port was in the water pump on the front of the motor. The port in the radiator is the highest point.
Definitely Higher than the water pump, Obviously. Long as it works it right-right. 👍 thanks. I was just wondering because of how low it is in the Radiator compared to hight of top of Motion block. If yours is working. I spent WAY, to much time on mine after asking you the question. Lol I was worried about my 1/4" drop 🤪
It's been a year, did you have any luck with it that way? Or is the port in the Radiator being that low get you right back Where you started?

Which intake manifold do you have? Mid rise?
Its actually just a Holley carb style intake with a Holley 4 BBL MPFI throttle body on top of it.
