For Lord sake! This changing narrative is getting to be like the weather here in Houston. If you don’t like it wait a few hours cause it’s going to change. There’s more to life than getting this involved with what baseball players, actors, musicians, and other entertainers are doing with their lives. They live in a different world. I realize these exorbitant salaries are getting paid, but players are not worth half $1 billion for playing baseball really well. And if $156 million to keep one’s loyalty and continue to play for the team that brought them along for over a decade doesn’t matter, then let them go their own way. They weren’t the first stars of the game and they won’t be the last. Life goes on.
I love breggy but let him walk. He was given a far offer he's hasn't been special since 2019 he's in decline. We pivoted to someone else at 3rd we don't need another infielder I don't want a second baseman playing outfield get a outfielder hell we need 2
@Capsized7 yordon needs to be dh that's it, Chaz I'd give him another year maybe last year was just a down year but I'm sorry Jake's got to go dude can hit a softball with 3 bat's. We need 2 outfielder for sure and I damn sure don't want altuve out there
Do players have any loyalty anymore? Its a shame these dudes will bail on teammates for small percentages when salaries get this high. Are their any players that stay in one place and take a bit lower salary?
Pressly is a closer. He wants to be a closer. When all he hears is salary dump, that’s got to be deflating. I hope he kills it with the Cubs (except when he pitches against us of course.) Bregman? He DOES NOT want to be here. Period. I understand testing the waters in free agency but if he wanted to be here he’d have jumped on the Astros offer as soon as the waters turned murky. Even if he comes back he’s off my list of the jerseys I want next.
@@dek779 With Bregman they are predicted as WS contenders. Houston sports fans are aren't as loyal as they appear. This stadium will be empty once they realize this team wont compete.
Players are so greedy. How many millions of dollars do you need? Maybe some of the players on the team might want him back. If that's the case, I would be alright if we took him back. But other than that, I don't care if Bregman plays another game ever, anywhere. I think he made a big fool out of himself.
LET-HIM-GO! I get that Bregman looks at this offer as the same salary but it is HE who is insisting on a long term contract. He could receive a raise from 28.5 per year but it's not going to be 6 years!
Go Get Jack Flaherty their are no more worth while Outfielders out their and our current infidel is Fine but are Pitching Rotation is still a question mark will our Pitchers who are returning be 100% will we trade Framber at the Trade dead line? Having another solid starter in the rotation will help more right now than Bregman or shitty to average Outfielder.
Crane bout to really find how loyal this fan base really is. His pockets are quivering over a couple million more to Bregman. Just wait till he starts losing millions on tickets sells because this team isn't good enough.
At this point, I’m just over it. If Bregman is going to come back, I wish he would just come back. And if he’s going to go somewhere else, I wish he would just go somewhere else. This whole thing has just gotten to be a joke.
@jimmyevanss5697 sign him for 1 or 2 years with team option after the first year and just get through this season until they free up money next season.
If he doesn't want to sign with the Astros by now then pull back the offer, let him go to highest offer. I think we are all tired of this crap, obviously he's not as desired as he and boras thinks he is.
Our offer has been more than fair; if he wanted to be an Astro, he would’ve taken it. He’s a player on the wrong side of 30 and on the decline. Love you, brother, but bye.
@ In 2 years Dana Brown had traded Drew Gilbert, Ryan Clifford, Korey Lee, Jake Bloss, Joey Loperfido and Will Wagner for JV, Kendall Graveman (both on IL) and Yusei Kikuchi. Dana brown is destroying the farm system. We hired a guy specifically because we wanted to revamp our drafting and focus on farm reconstruction... and all he does is sign guys that strip out draft picks and trade every decent prospect for rental bullshit.

I'm seventy - two. I remember a time when baseball shows were about baseball, not about money. It's quite depressing what things have become.

Hell, honestly we need three man lol. I don’t trust any of the outfielders offensively (except Yordan, but let’s be honest he needs to be a DH)

Amen loved him like Springer Dinger and Carlos, but let’s use that money for prospects
Really a no-brainer. Let Bregman walk, sign an outfielder.
What outfielder thats available tips the scale like Bregman would?
Do players have any loyalty anymore? Its a shame these dudes will bail on teammates for small percentages when salaries get this high. Are their any players that stay in one place and take a bit lower salary?
Altuve

This Bregman talk it’s getting annoying, this guy needs to sign with a team already. Let’s move on from Bregman.
He's greedy,he truly believes he's worth more than 26 million a season lol.....other teams are telling him that he's not.
Jorge polanco sucks, it’s a blessing he won’t be in Astro. Bregman clearly doesn’t want to be back. Move on , Astros don’t need him
If it was going to happen, it would have happened by now.
6 years 156 million,Bergman feels he's better than that? 26 million a season lol bye
So a couple million more makes you a WS contender vs mediocrity. Your telling me you wouldn't invest?
@scottyc1093 I'd give him 162 and nothing more. I don't believe they're contenders with him,the pitching is a huge question mark.
@@dek779 With Bregman they are predicted as WS contenders. Houston sports fans are aren't as loyal as they appear. This stadium will be empty once they realize this team wont compete.
@scottyc1093 No doubt,Houston is a large wealthy city,a team starts losing and people will find other things to do.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, LET BREGMAN GO DIGN A OUTFIELDER,MOVE ON.
What outfielder thats available tips the scale like Bregman? Contender vs mediocrity. Thats the choices.
Its over. Astros made offer he has declined. END STORY.
If he has better offers was hasn’t he signed
Bregman turned down a fair offer but wants more. Just leave already!
Ya, I really never thought he was that type of guy. Kind of shocked he didn't take an Altuve type contract to be an astro for life
LET-HIM-GO! I get that Bregman looks at this offer as the same salary but it is HE who is insisting on a long term contract. He could receive a raise from 28.5 per year but it's not going to be 6 years!
Kick rocks, Bregman.

Still a shame we didnt sign Santander
A switch hitting 6’2 Venezuelan who hit 44HR’s last year 🤦🏻♂️
At this point, I’m just over it. If Bregman is going to come back, I wish he would just come back. And if he’s going to go somewhere else, I wish he would just go somewhere else. This whole thing has just gotten to be a joke.
Let’s put that money to get a decent outfielder and also we need to resign Framber by next season
It's time to move on from Bregman. Quit the bullshit and just sign Verdugo at this point.
Except Verdugo is a bum.
@Timbuckley01 what's better out there for what the Astros want to spend?
I’m fine with Verdugo he ain’t anything special but better than most of the junk out there
@jimmyevanss5697 sign him for 1 or 2 years with team option after the first year and just get through this season until they free up money next season.
Verdugo is trash. Grichuk is the only OF left that is worth looking at.
Who cares. I’m tired of hearing about it. Keep on truckin.

Sign
Do not sign the money hungry jew in decline.
Stone cold Stros podcast over this 👍
No offense to these guys, but Stone Cold ‘Stros is wayyyy better content than this show
Bregman sucks he’s not the guy
He needs to just go away. Houston does not need him.
Contender vs mediocrity. Thats the choice that has to be made.
Who cares???
DANA was hired by MLB to ruin the Astros organization.
