This next game vs Titans is basically meaningless in terms of playoff seeding for the Texans . I’d say just rest the starters no need to tack on any more injuries heading into the WC game . Game plan needs to change. Stroud needs to start using his legs more often than not. He’s to predictable and the OL can’t hold on long enough for Stroud to get his passes to the WRs. Mixon as good as he is cant be do it all himself on the ground. Fight fire with fire.

This season is over. There’s an outside chance that we win 1 playoff game. But realistically our defense can’t stop good teams, our O line is garbage, Slowick’s scheme is basic and the NFL has it figured out, our O line coach has made 0 progress with our O line, CJ is missing open receivers and his accuracy is average right now. This team has some serious work and big time soul searching to do.

We have a man boy for a QB. CJ is weak and will not lead the Texans into the future. He just doesn't have that killer instinct....Mahomes, Josh Allen, Baker Mayfield, Lamar Jackson. He doesn't even want to run anymore. Someone needs to work with him, and maybe some hard knocks tough training.

CJ has been exposed. Hès overrated and weak. I lost so much respect for him when he cried because Tank went out with an injury. His body language is negative and he's always frowning. I even question his leadership. After Tank went down with an injury CJ should have rallied his teammates instead of crying on live TV. What kind of precedence does that set for the rest of the game, the rest of the season for that matter. CJ will not lead the Texans into the future. We need a man, not a boy.

They still need 2 ok to good outfielders, but the move seems like a decent one. And I'm glad they didn't do the Drayton thing of waiting aorund for one guy. I don't love going away from contact. I think the outfielders they bring in, depending on who's availible, should be on base contact guys who defend well. But it'll be nice to have a first baseman who can do something on both sides of the ball. Haven't had that since 2021 Yuli. Oh and should have traded Yuli after 19 or 21, sell as high as you can on guys like that.

I think Bregman lost leverage with the other teams after the astros traded for Paredes and signing Walker for first base. He should have signed with the astros earlier, for the contract he was offered, if he wanted to stay here. Now, he will not get what he thinks he's going to get with the other teams. He will NOT get $200 million by anybody. 7 years for his age is too many years. He'll probably get offered a 4 or 5 year contract worth $27 million per year.

While Melton will get his shot he is more suited to center field rather than right.
