Just found your channel today as Kate at The Last Homely House mentioned you. I watched all your videos and enjoyed them very much. I'm thinking that the selvedges would make great washable, durable mats! I'm from Powell River B.C. Canada! I look forward to watching more content from you. Thank you for sharing.

Kate Jackson from the Last Homely House gave you a shout out. I am glad she did! I have been saving pretty selfveges for about a year but have not accumulated enough to begin a ptoject. Love your process for sorting. I will start cutting at 1 1\2

    Terry...Thanks a BUNCH!!
I have noticed the trend in the salvages change over the year. You are quite creative. I retired to Franklin NC a few years ago. I've been doing much more quilting & learning about different techniques. Thanks SO MUCH for sharing your ideas!!! PS. I learned of your channel from Kate on "The Last Homely House" You Tube channel.
    Thanks Again

Hi Terry. I'm working right now on selvage projects, using applique on top of the selvage "fabric" to create various wall hangings. Or table runners. Or on and on... I'm in the Tucson Arizona area called Saddlebrooke, and have been sewing for more than 60 years. I just discovered your channel thanks to Kate Jackson, and I will continue to follow what you are up to.

I wish I had a lot to try making something now but that will have to wait until I get a collection. I am from Pennsylvania. I can't wait to see more videos from you.

I took a spider web selvage class yesterday where we made 1/4 of a block. I became hooked on selvages and began watching selvage videos on RUclips. I began quilting 3 years ago and it never occurred to me that I could make things out of selvages. I’m sure wishing I’d been saving selvages all these years. I’ll keep them from now on. Thank you for your video tutorials.

I live in Santa Barbara CA and there is literally only ONE quilt shop here and it is very expensive. I have always gotten my fabrics from thrift stores. It is economical but I do not get to actually chose my own colors and patterns like in an actual shop. I am still able to make great quilts and bags though!

Your selvage projects are amazing, but I wonder if you have any information on the circle quilt hanging behind you. I love it! I'm new to quilting so not sure about the best way to cut and sew circles, although I've watched many videos about this. Your circle quilt "spoke to me" so I'd really like to make one like yours. The dark strips really make it pop. Any information you can share with me will be greatly appreciated. Or better yet, is there a pattern available for purchase? Thanks.
