Fantastic interview. I think the houses quilt was at Quilt Canada in Vancouver last June. I remember seeing one and being amazed, especially when I saw the windows. Terry's RUclips channel is so full of great tips and techniques. I am currently using her webbing technique for sewing a Seed Packet Quilt.
Thank you for the interview. Steven, you did a wonderful job interviewing Terri. I have been following her channel and I am in awe of all she has accomplished.
Great interview! Terry Rowland is one of my favorite go to youtube channels for inspiration! she is down to earth, fun, a fantastic teacher of sewing & quilting, and I love that she uses so many scraps in a beautiful colorway design alot of the time. Again, thank you for this fantastic interview!
One of your best interviews. Was so nice to find out more about the person behind the color wash quilt. Since Kate first mentioned Terry on The Last Homely House, I’ve become obsessed with those little 3 1/2 inch squares.
Nicely done, Stephen! Terry's house quilt with those tiny pieces of sashing and cornerstones, Oh My! I was really taken with her squares within squares colourwash quilt and have already started one of my own. Since I have 'way more printed fabrics than solids, I discovered a stack of Moda solids 5x5 inch in all the colors of the rainbow plus neutrals. Each one is just enough for the amount of fabric needed for the outside square, plus a little nugget or two for the centers of a couple other blocks. Such beautiful quilts behind her, wish she had shown all of them she has done...
Wow! The mind of a creative genius. The fact that she is self made and learning organically from those around her. What a treasure. Thank you for sharing.
What an awesome interview. I rival her talent. I keep telling myself I just have to practice more and one day maybe I will look at my work and say wow I did that!! Right now I am my own worst critic!! I need to stop trying to make it perfect and just make it. If I make it and gift it they may look at it and say WOW!! You made that??
Feb 4, 2024 and I’ve been watching nothing but quilting RUclips for 15 months and RUclips is just now serving up your channel to me!! 🤦🏼♀️ I loved loved loved this interview! Terry’s quilts are fabulous. I’ve just started working my cut-offs as leader and enders so I can produce a quilt from them. Now I’m truly enthused about it. I’ve been wanting to do a channel that’s exactly what you’re doing. Now I know it’s already being done!
Very interesting interview. I have subscribed to you both. And, you hit the nail on the head about tutorials being concise and to the point. I give a tutorial less than two minutes to get to the point, stay on the point and finish in 20 minutes or less depending on the complexity of the project. My time is way too valuable to spend on chitter-chatter and unprepared presentation.
Really great chat. I have so enjoyed hearing more about Terry's work and quilting journey. Love the creative insight. Thank you.
I really enjoy Terry Rowlands view on scraps. Color Wash quilt is on my 2023 to do list.
And don't ever let anyone tell you you can't. Thanks Terri and Steven great encouraging hints and ideas.
Fantastic interview.

Could you do a video on that quilt on your right.
🥰
"Someone said you can't put all colours into a quilt"?
That would be the quilt police.😊
