    The ASYNC H7 XC is a strong and light mountain ebike / hybrid ebike with a mid drive motor and a wide range of gears. This mid drive ebike has a throttle as well as a torque sensor and a 48v 20ah battery. The drive train on this bike has a ton of torque for climbing ultra steep hills with the ananda m100 mid drive motor paired up to the large granny gear on the cassette. The low center of mass and balanced location of the battery make this bike super balanced and nimble for an electric bike.

    I like how the cassette has some large gears for low speed and toque multiplication. So many mid drives are closer to a 1:1 ratio in the lowest gear. When I watch your videos, I usually visit the website of the bike you review. I hope that helps with the algorithm or whatever it is from the manufacturer that shows people coming from this review to their website. Love the mid drives the most! The manufacturer has a great looking website on this bike! Thanks for all your reviews. Envious of your local scenery.

    This bike from ASYNC is an excellent machine. I purchased two of them for myself and my son. Unfortunately I have very little respect for their Customer Service. They are quick to respond to email with promises but their follow through is non-existent. One of the bikes was stolen from my garage last month but I was later made whole with my insurance. My replacement will not come from ASYNC but rather a WIRED FREEDOM.

    Hard to believe the battery usage for 1500' elev. I just bought a CSC FT1000 MD with Bafang Ultra 620 1000W mid motor fat tire bike and I think my bike is too heavy for most. I would enjoy seeing you review it. It has been on sale at $1999 down from $3300 probably because of the weight and dated 18650 cells in the 16 AH battery. They are offering a 25 AH battery with newer cells in the battery. 30 years ago I could do rides like that one.

    Funny seat post make it difficult to change. As you mentioned later...
    3:50 New TV! or older video just released? Also frame mounted display is kinda cool! Maybe awkward to see?
    4:21 But who cares about saving trees? Just plant a few. Easy fix! But plant them just don't say you are going too.

      What do you mean by the wheels charging it up? Are you suggesting a perpetual motion machine? Or regenerative braking? If the second, the only way that would work is as a fixie. I do not think you would want a fixie with over 1000w of power spinning the wheels

      @@victorvannatter312direct drive hub motors can do regenerative braking, but it's not popular as it doesn't provide much power generally. But may be better for downhill riding. Don't know of any mid -drive motors that do Regen

    • @victorvannatter312
      @victorvannatter312 Год назад

      I know dd motors can. That’s why I said mid drives can’t. Also a gear hub motor can as well it doesn’t have a one way clutch in it. You are correct, while it doesn’t provide much power, it reduces use of friction brakes. It’s quite nice
