They're all great Julian but if I had to pick a favourite I think it would be Howard Jones, New Song. It's good to see them all in one big montage but now I'll have to watch them all again individually lol.
It's funny that one always sounds a bit weedy to me now, but then HoJo's stuff was always very light on bass. The one I think sounds best isn't my favourite.... And then there's those that took so long to put together I they left battle scars, lol

Virtually indistinguishable to the OG's to my ears, and not an analog synth in sight. The fact that you replicate the entire arrangements. I'm glad we have lots of full arrangement content to watch if you end up transitioning to mostly shorter form vids TY!

@@leondevries478 the lead synth is a blend of around 6 sounds which I started with sound of steel drum and added multiple synth brass patches. I get asked this question a lot. I've answered in more detail on the full video, but in short I blend multiple sounds per part.... It takes some time 😁.

@@Mr.SamWise you may have missed my last communicate post where I mentioned I'm currently unable to work on any new covers due to a family health issue. The full version of 'A Good Heart' is still some way off completion and is not yet on the channel. For the foreseeable future, I will be making videos that don't take 100s of hours to make... The covers take too much time. I will return to making them at some point in future, but for now my family has to come first.

I can't fault your talent, but of these '40 top songs', some are just musical pieces from movies, and one (Robert Miles - Children) is from the 90s! So the video title is quite misleading to say the least, as I'm sure the vast majority of people clicking on this video would be thinking the tunes were from 1980s chart songs.
