I didnt realize that 2-Tone matched up that perfectly until now. Lots of little things I missed before like the front bumper drop down foot peg thing and the tow hooks under the frame. Not my favorite era of ramchargers but that came out sharp as F! Great series, now back to 'ol baby blue! Chompin at the bit to see that thing lighting up the tires.
Got to love Ram Chargers, wife loved her 87, killed three deer a year with it driving to work and back never any damage, rust took it out though, hate road salt, have an 84 now, need to complete the body work though. 360 .020 0ver, new bearings, torque beast cam lifters, springs, lifters, performer intake, granny gear tranny, dana 60 4500lb front axle, dana 60 rear, 4-inch lift, 35-inch tires. Yep, we love Ram Chargers. I ask the wife if she could have any vehicle we have ever owned back again, and she said her Ram charger hands down no questions ask. Just another reason why I love my wife!
The whole series on The Ramcharger Revival was great Joe. I was glad to have had a part in this job. Was a real pleasure to so you bring the Ramcharger back to life. I know Bob with be very happy. Thanks for sharing the process Joe. Another JustMoparJoe job well done.👍👍💯🇺🇸
From start to finish, this has been an amazing revival video series! Bob will love it and have many years of enjoyment with it. Thanks for sharing the journey!
I did watch the whole series of this ram charger restoration it was very good man alive it has come up absolutely beautiful well done brother hood and good job
Great job on each one of the smaller details. Thats why we keep coming back to watch your videos. It’s to see the steps and progress and then the final completed project. Your finished projects are always great to see. 👍
Joe, thank you so much for putting this video together. One of my favorite trucks by Dodge. Burly and beautiful at the same time! You did a remarkable job restoring this beast and it looks like the new owner was pretty happy. Love those turbine wheels too.😊
@@JustMoparJoe you have to laugh rite? keep the good content coming! I just picked up a 440 short block from a guy out here in Cali. He had pictures of himself and Richard Petty on the wall! Stories to tell! He said his buddy put the engine together and took too much off the heads so compression was too high. he took the heads off and the engine say for several years. He thinks it ran for 5 minutes? So I'm goin to take the main/rod caps off to inspect and gauge tonight! Was kinda bummed, he didnt protect the cylinder walls so there was considerable rust in some areas. Was able to remove with evapo-rust and scotch-bright, but I will need to hone. Cylinders are already .060" over. If everything checks out, I might have a good short-block on my hands!
I really love these rigs and one day I hope to add one to my fleet. A job well done! Still trying to figure out though what that was crawling around the RamCharger's frame at about the 5:30 mark. 😆
I’m looking to get a 360 Magnum rated at 400 hp. I have a TCI 904 trans. Does that bolt up with no issues, and is that level of hp good with that transmission? It’s for a 69 Dart.
Yes sir. 904 will bolt right up. I would upgrade the clutches and bands, and add a strong shift kit or go with a manual valve body. John Cope at Cope racing transmissions will help you out. Tell him that JMJ sent you. He will give you top notch service and advice.
Looks awesome, Joe! Did you retain the factory kickdown and cruise control when you went to the 360/4bbl? If not, what products did you use. I have an '84 with a 318 and I'd like to upgrade to the 360 I've got sitting in the garage, but I want to be able to use the factory cruise.
I did not hook the cruise back up. It didn’t work for some years. I believe this was factory Linkage that I added a bolt to the slide to limit its travel, and the edelbrock carb uses an adapter piece for the side, to better align to the linkage. Hopefully that helps!
Really good looking truck
It sure is! Thanks Nathan

It looks a lot better now than when it came in. Gold looks good.

Nice Job Joe! Who the cam guy 360 runs good.
The cam came from Rodney Byrd. I have it in my cam break in video. I can’t remember the specs.
@@JustMoparJoe is Rodney on you tube Joe?
@@johnnybrigham8754 he is, but doesn’t have any videos up. I know he’s on Instagram and Facebook.
Nice job putting another Ramcharger back on the road....mine will always be on the road as long as I'm alive. 😂😂😂

Thanks John!
I always used catalyzed primer to make sure it dries fast and hard
I definitely like the two part
JMJ!😎💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

hahahaha....you managed to polish a turd, and painted it "turd brown" I love it!
If your turds are gold colored, you need to see your doctor 👨⚕️

More suregrip!
Always a plus!
Id love to get another one, but finding one in good shape for a reasonable price has been difficult.

@@JustMoparJoe it’s a new Streetfighter 904 from TCI. It says up to 400hp, but it’s contradicting because it also states 400-775hp.
