Does someone always have to bring up back in black when discussing highway to hell. Can we just focus on Bon, highway to hell and before.. then treat back in black and beyond on its own. Thank you. Remember, anything in the future when discussing the past makes no sense.
AC/DC . The Albert's pushed the band to record with overseas producers. I watched ACDC 1976 in Adelaide. Bon with Angus on his shoulders. Bon had the strut. Women loved him and men respected Bons intelligence and humour (front bar Aussie culture).
Yeah, have to agree. One thing AC/DC isn't now and never was would be a band with piano. You could make an argument for the one-off use of bagpipes, but they're guitars/bass/drums. No piano or strings, etc. Doesn't work for their style and sound.
Right? I mean, saw them when the album was just about to drop and they played songs from it and we all thought, "Oh, man, this is gonna be good." Can't tell you how long the tape lived in my car stereo!
@@sword-and-shield awesome! You KNOW it's a great record when you've owned it on ALL the formats! LOL! RIP, Bon, we miss ya, but thanks for all the cranking tunes!
As a 16 year old ACDC fan when Bon Scott passed away I remember why Back in Black was such a success. Everyone was saying Brian Johnson sounded just like Bon Scott. So everyone bought that album. But to our dismay, he didn't sound anything like Bon Scott. Just a screamer. As the record sales of next albums proved. Brian Johnson sucked. To this day the only singer that sounded like Bon Scott was Axle Rose of all people. I was always a fan of Angus Young but not enough to buy another album because I couldn't stand the screaming front man.
This is Fil SoloDallas and we approve of this video! 😎
😎😎😎 ohhhhhhh yeahhhhh
Cheers SoloDallas!
Yay 🎉
Who?
Got your Storm Replica, and love it man!!
Powerage & HTH!
My favorite albums from the boys!
Bon was and always will be the real deal. R.I.P. Bon Scott and Malcolm Young.
One can never forget when one first listened to this album on Vinyl, just like Black in Black !

Awesome! Make one with “Let there be rock” 🤘🏼

Top album. Walk all over you is one of their best. Some of their finest deeper Trax.
I always loved the way the Drums sit in the mix .
great footage, great narration, a lot of it was new to me, brilliant!!
Thank you! 🙂
Masterpiece!
“Talking about pianos, but that was the wrong word around us.”
Rock on🤘😂🤘

Another Friday morning to get my MMO fix. Love It. Thanks!
Great to hear, thank you! 🙂
Fantastic video content. In fact HTH was a game changer in rock world.
Cheers, it certainly was!
Grew up on the music and Cut my guitar playing teeth with these early albums … still some of my favorites and a groove that can’t be beat
Another great vid mate 👏
Thank you 🙏
Such great videos, love your channel
Thanks so much!
Mutt Lange really improved on perfection...Tony Platt was a real gift too...great CV
An ACDC record with piano on it? Absolute sacrilege, I can't even imagine that. No wonder they sacked Kramer.

All I know is when it dropped, there wasn't anyone I knew that wasn't spinning it constantly...thx for the vid.

@@andygeisel2177 Exactly, Vinyl to 8 Track to Cassette to Cd... one of the few that rolled through them all.

Muy bueno! Gracias
Gracias!
Nice, now please do one about For Those About To Rock 🙏
Make a Powerage one!!
I’d love to! I’ll be looking into it..
5:04 Not a 1971 Marshall Super Bass on the photo. The rocker switches and piping suggests 1976 or later.
I maintain despite fil correcting me that the marshall will be crunching a little and the schaefer tips it into more crunch
That’s funny. When I first got a Nady wireless is the 90’s I noticed it sounded nicely compressed. Go figure.
Just saw AC/DC on POWR/UP tour (Bratislava 21.7.2024) with 120K of fellow fans. At their 70's they still have more balls than modern bands!
If you saw them in July only one of them was in their 70’s and that’s Brian.
@@mrjw6701 well, 69 is not exactly closer to 30 than 70 😀
@@ivanmaglica264 still not 70, it was only Brian as Cliff or Phil wasn’t there.
This is very cool to see. Could you maybe do something like this with Phil Collins?
Face value has some interesting sounds and stories, great idea!
@1:50 check out rudolph - COKE NOSE
missed the potent ‘Led Zepplin’ tag when you hang on the shot of Page. Intentional?
ANALOG kills Digital BaBy!!😁👊👊
Someone tell Glenn Fricker about the mic bleed thing.
The black flag marshall
Was this just an advertisement for speakers
