Just got my 992 C2S with PSE and LamboDEB is right, you have to hear the car in person. OEM PSE sounds good, unless you are used to catless NA cars. I drove an E92 M3 before my 992 911 and had put on Remus Exhaust - Sport and Sport cat x-pipes. That thing was LOUD, but 911 is more refined loud. To those that are saying a 911 sounds like a lawnmower... I have no words for you... you must be the princess of Dubai with 12 car garage filled with exotics. Debadging is an option and I went with debadging option on my C2S.
Techart is by far the best exhaust for Porsche, I use the one without particulate filtering my Porsche Cayenne Turbo S and its sounds awesome, a real neck bender.
One of the things that I dislike about the 992 is the exhaust. I've listened to a lot of 911 992 startup and rev up videos but I'm always left wanting more out of the exhaust. This one sounds better though.
No. But if you have a problem with your exhaust or it’s exhaust related then they probably won’t. And depends on your dealership. Some might be assholes and just say it’s jot covered just to make you pay.
@@LamboDEB1 it's hard to beat a high revving NA engine. It's sad that they are pretty much dead. Other cars are ruined by the particulate filter and the shitty soft limiters
It's absolutely baffling a car company as prolific as porche can make a petrol sound like a diesel lawnmower. Doesn't sound like a performance vehicle at all. Heard it in person on the streets and was thinking "I bet it sounds bad because of the muffler dampening everything" low and behold still sounds like trash. Go listen to a rally V6 and wonder what the fuck the Porsche engineers were thinking.
This is def not straight piped at all.. maybe has a muffler delete or it’s factory with valves open but my friends Porsche 911 turbo s is loud af.. the camera can barely handle the sound. It’s so loud that when he takes off your ears ring for a few seconds. This is no where near that and my friends Porsche is stage 2 or even maybe 3 by now. Haven’t talked to him in a while but 2 years ago I’ve seen it and this sounds nothing like it
Nothing wrong with the base. I got a base to instead of S . With the money difference I got the full sport package ,expensive color ,ceramic brakes ,panoramic roof and matrix headlights and quite a nice interior to. It looks better than any base S with his frikkin S badges. Yea I didn't get the porsche torque transfer system and the rear steering wheel as these aren't even optionals on the base but who cares . its a Porsche it turns well. As for the power, everyone knows you can squeeze an extra 100 HP and 150 nM with just Soft stage 1 .wich I will probably do after the warranty is gone ;)
The F-Type is great. But just my op, It's not only about sound though, keep in mind he paid initially for: - a Porsche engineered engine - a reliable PDK transmission - a well made luxurious interior and the list goes on. So on conclusion: "to each their own". Hope u get dat V8 Jag one day too 😉.
Porsche Carrera GT 5.7L V10 is one of the best sounding cars made. Please look them up. Especially with an exhaust like Inconel titanium straight piped exhaust, pure exhaust bliss.

It does sound like a vacuum cleaner when stock. Not hating just being real.
You hurt his feelings calling it a BASE 😂😂😂 best part!
lmao the salt was poured
he debadged it too lmao
No that’s an option
haha that was funny
I bet it sounds awesome in person. I’ll have to check this out again when I get home and have my headphones.
Definitely bro!!
I still come back to this video because you caught the sound the best
"Nothing base about Porsche" Word homie!!!
Most def🏎

Video does it no justice
LamboDEB does straight piping it void the warranty in any way?
No. But if you have a problem with your exhaust or it’s exhaust related then they probably won’t. And depends on your dealership. Some might be assholes and just say it’s jot covered just to make you pay.
These cars look wicked ! Sound good.
yeap the base Carrera is more than enough 🔥
Not a straight-pipe if the cats haven't been removed. Yawn...
Precisely what I have in mind. Awesome ! Did you have to remove the rear bumper to get the stock exhaust in & out ?
"there's nothing base about Porsche" haha. Not sure how the turbo guys feel about that
😂😂
who needs more than this? daaaaamn it is a rocket
bro can you tell me from which company the cat back I'm looking for my 992 ?
Is the check engine light on??
No
Sounds much better than stock 992... but nothing will match the sound of a 991.1 (or even less the GT3).
991.1 is the last good sounding 911. Boy, that 3.8 sounds good
I agree... my 991.1 screams. Has a sharkswerks bypass and cat delete headers..
Please get that soft limiter removed
Sounds amazing!!!
So uhh muffler delete..?
Yeah man…love it!
This almost just sound like stock🤨 I'll straight pipe mine soon too with catless downpipes, hopefully it's better then 😅
The tone is stock but trust me it’s ALOT louder
@@LamboDEB1 yeah on video it's always different! Love to see an other video😉
LamboDEB no way this is straight pipes, I don’t think either of u know wat that means, show us under the car lol. Sounds good tho, love the 911
@@HeyhitmeBAM want to see that too, i'll have my straight pipe in a month!
It’s straight from the cat back
So quiet, sounds stock
It’s loud af in person
Sounds like a dying vacuum cleaner, the gear change is good...
OMG- now that is what it should sound like
is it stock carrera ? damn so fast
Yeah
I’ve got the 4s but I know the base doesn’t feel any different. Dude you forgot to tell him to put his head against the headrest on launch.
Did he remap the ecu!?
Idk
991.2 sounded so much better :-/. I think I'd just pick up a 991.2 gt3 and remove the wing.
That’s called a gt3 touring
@@LamboDEB1 it is but it's also a lot more expensive. My point was to get something around the same price as that 992
O ok. I’d rather have the 991.1 gt3 sounded amazing with an exhaust
@@LamboDEB1 it's hard to beat a high revving NA engine. It's sad that they are pretty much dead. Other cars are ruined by the particulate filter and the shitty soft limiters
Where can I get that clear third brake light?
Factory option.
@@LamboDEB1 Thank you
I'd love to hear it in person but that joint fast!!!
And your car now doning "meow meow" 😀
INCREDIBLE
9/10 times I search up “straight piped” car, it isn’t straight piped
Damn is this just carrera or carrera s?
Carrera
sound quality is like shit, but i do believe it sounds good irl

Did your friend indicate cost of this mod? Has there been any issues with the car since this video...thanks?
He didn’t. It was done by a custom shop. He traded it for a taycan a while ago
My opel astra from 2007 makes louder sound
Yeah there’s a limiter on the revving.
Your Opel is well.. Never mind.
Oh no! Anyways
Cause its about to blow-up 😂
Lol
Wow that’s a missle
Sounds like a lawn mower 🤣🤣🤣
Nah you have to hear it in person
That’s quite a lawnmower then😂
you kidding ?
@@jakecole7447 no 🤷♂️

@@Praise_God369 you put ceramics on a base?
Amazing 👏
Amazing car you got!
c'mon playa, that is not a pleasant exhaust note.
Cat back exhaust is not straight pipe
For that money I'd buy a v8 jaguar F type cant beat the V8 soundtrack

i had one its good car but when i try to sell it to buy my new 992 i sell it in 30% of the original price
Didn't sound like much
🔥🔥🔥
this is with cat still on right ?
Yeah
🏎💨💨💨
All porches sound like @ss
Not the 991’s with pse, those sound great with the valves open, the new ones are too quiet due to noise regulations

I’m sorry in what world does that sound good??? That’s rubbish.
