I finally jumped in with auto-captioning. So far, I've only used Capcut and Adobe PP

I edit in Final Cut Pro and then send it over to CapCut desktop (mac) for the Auto Captions.
I guess Auto Caps is too hard for Apple to figure out 🙄
I normally use inshot because it's free but now I will use tiktok or Instagram Auto captions. Thank you for the video 📷📸

We typically let YT autogenerate but if you mean the baked in ones then they’re done in Premiere Pro 🙂

Most of these apps I have used in the past and no longer use. I tried to give the best understanding (pros/cons) of each but really it’s a list that if you go the app or website you’ll see examples of how they look immediately. I’m just trying to offer an unbiased review. Most of these I couldn’t show examples of without showing client work. Hope that gives you some perspective on why there aren’t examples 🙂

Good list, but didn't get much sense of what made each of them better or worse. Feels like you just said "they're all good". Except of course for the one where you have to write out captions yourself. Would love it if you could give a more concrete "this app is the one if you want ___ types of captions" or "this is good for this, but not that"

I edit these videos for my clients and these videos take super long to edit, I wish there was an app that could automatically add these animated captions

Where are your captions?
If you click the CC (closed captions) button at the bottom of the video, captions will appear. I didn't caption this video like a TikTok video because we are on RUclips and captions are generated automatically.

Yeah, we were a little time poor, sorry. This was just my experience with the apps. I showed Premiere Pro but in retrospect should have taken the time to show them all.

Hi! Great question!
Much like a math teacher puts an equation on the chalk board and doesn't give you the answer straight away, they help you work it out in order to get to the answer - I do the same. I provide context and understanding to ensure every viewer is on the same page before we dive into the meat of the video where I do infact give the answer that I've promised in the title of the video.
To be more specific, in the case of THIS video, I'm sure everyone is hearing other experts say "Use captions. Use captions. Use captions." But if they don't know WHY they need to then they're not going to see the value nor are they going to understand exactly HOW MUCH value caption can add to their vertical videos.

Liar inshot costs nothing is free, capcut no longer has working captions only in out and loop....
