Thank you sir, for taking us along on your visit to a few different sawmills. I hope this. Travelling to different places increases your viewership. I know I enjoy it immensely. Good luck. God bless.✌️🇨🇦
If it is too cold to run the sawmill just take a field trip! Love the idea and the opportunity to see a large production mill in action. Thank you for sharing this.
Pretty sure it's a fairly new amish company building them. One of the reasons Marvin wanted to go see it is because it is the first one in my area. There's a LOT of sawmills here.
It's not easy to make videos, takes effort. But every time someone enjoys them, that makes it worth while. So for you and everyone who has enjoyed watching, thanks folks!
@@treeclimberdave I compromise...I would rather work in 40 degrees than 90 degrees but you can have your 12 degrees all to yourself, I'll be in by the woodstove! 🤣

Enjoy watching this mill. You should make another video of it sometime if you get a chance.
Looks like they have a good command of producing cut wood, and it appears that they have the right help with plenty of room to make it happen🤪🇨🇱
@@TerryBastian-j1q they all grew up around sawmills.
Lovely superb Nice sawing

Very nice meal very good workers on it they put on not a production of the day unsure but keep on And I’ll keep on watching god bless
Thank you for the upload! Any idea how the setworks work on this machine? It looked like they did a lot of manual adjustments.
I'm digging this voice-over video. The mill is bigger than it looks on the video.
RUclips messed with the sound, but glad you liked it.
Need the info for the edger maker. Star Welding, but can’t make out the phone number??
Couldn't find this Echo 45 HD2 on Google, but a fast machine for sure

Love these big mills!
it's the difference between portable and fixed sawmills. Portable need to be narrow and short to fit the roads, fixed can be as big as they want.
That’s an incredible machine. Thanks for sharing.
Very nice set up very nice meal not a lot of wasted time does an excellent job you keep on sir and I will keep on watching god bless

Thanks for thinking of us out here neighbor !... eastern N.C. 4th generation 👍🙋👍🙋👍🙋👍
I saw this sawmill on tractor trailer yesterday. Never heard of this brand before. Looks well built.
I had never seen one before. Yes they are very well built.
They hit a nail .
Did they? I must have missed that!
@@mcsawmill You can see this in sawstripes .
Could be a little stone peace also .
@@avap2677 you can see the iron spots on end of log but I'd assume they have a detector??
@@jamesrussell6870 Yep the blue spots .I think they don't have a detector .
Looks like a very efficient & well greased operation... Complete opposite of "AxeMen" that are constantly yelling at each other...for drama??
Hi, thanks for showing me this video AMASING
Good video. That mill is just like yours......except a little bigger.
Looks like Marvin's de-barker valve has a small leak.
Dave
Nice! They are nuts for working in frigid temps!
Right? I didn't bring gloves and after 15 min I couldn't feel my fingers!
I'll take cold over heat any day. I fell timber in 12 degrees in a t shirt because you get hot if you actually work.

I can't for the life of me understand why the sawyer isn't sitting down. Thanks for a great video.
Really nice mill similar to the xp380 timber buddy!
Oh I have a video of timber buddy coming!
@@mcsawmill Hey when you make that video can you tell me the height when the head is all the way up! I ordered one and I need to build a Barn for it!
@@inthewoods5640just curious roughly what did it run you? I hate to call and waste there time inquiring if it’s not even in my ballpark.

They make those rubber tire articulating loaders in compact size, and have for years.
which place? and what is the price this machine?
It's built by an Amish company, I think cost was around $70k
Do you have any idea what their market is in that portion of Ohio? Flooring, cabinetry, etc...?
It looked like flooring but I didn't ask.
5he blade is 2” wide not 2” thick!!
Sorry, I was nervous. Should have said wide.
Awesome mill! They get a lot of production out of that! How wide of a log can it take?
it can cut 40" dia x about 30ft long
It would suck to have to work around a bunch of SMOKERS.
How many logs can they cut before changing to a new blade?
I'd guess 10-12 unless they are really big logs.
Saw band is not 2 inches thick, it is 2 inches wide... Please know what you are talking about. The old round saws weren't even 2 inches thick.
I get nervous talking on camera.. sorry your right, wide not thick lol..
@@mcsawmill we knew what you meant... All the English teachers commenting..
@mcsawmill on your channel you can call it whatever you like. Your doing a great job, we appreciate you.
You know when someone is smoking while working , they mean serious business there
I was a little surprised by that, usually I don't see amish smoking around here.
tag theses as middlefield non-custom sawmills
tooth out of whack, need a setting on that blade...lol
Echo Sawmill??? None found, must be a ghost sawmill.........
Fairly new Amish company making them.
There is too much HP for a small mill.
2 inch wide not thick the cut width is the thickness
I know, sorry I got excited lol...
Turbo 4cyl Diesel engine maybe 70 to 85hp but I don't see 120hp seems kind of high
It's 120hp, I think he said it's a John deer engine.
Better learn how to set the blade teeth a little better... Nice mill tho.
It hit something, causing a tooth or some to get knocked over set..
