I think the old school streetlights are more appropriate for the downtown core, cause there are more 'old' buildings and it has a more classic feel... You could use the new ones in the suburbs, since that would be a 'newer' part of town. Another thing you could do with the older style of lampposts, is use them in the park area, cause it gives a nice atmosphere! :)
Definitely use the speed bump plates in the residential section. The old lamp posts would look good in the residential section while the new ones would pop with downtown. If they're going to glow in the dark as you've said, that is going to look sharp. Anyway, my architecture line of sets is complete for now as I bought and finished Singapore last night. Love your organization system too.
I like the old school street lamp and I think they go well with the rebrickable traffic lights. They seem more on theme of a lot of the modular buildings, which are kind of 1920's in style.
The ramps are excellent as industrial roofings. A 16x32 rooftop would use 8 ramps with 8x32 central plate covered with a double row of 3x4 25 degree slopes and 2x4 25 degree rooftops.
I def think you should make custom lamp posts to match the traffic lights. That way they match, it looks more custom and you can still use the glow pieces. I think the yellow speed bumps will go well along with the black lamp posts in the residential area. 😍
It's funny you say that because we ordered the parts to make the lamp posts like Hogsmeade and they just arrived the other day... I completely forgot 🤣🤣
so excited to see what you do with the mils system! also, after seeing all the boxes and bags it makes me more pumped for lego to switch to paper bags haha
Wow! So many pieces. And I know that you will put them all to good use. Speeds of 50 mph on the city streets or the residential streets won’t work in the US! And that is what my sets have.
That is exciting, I cannot wait to open mine. I have 13 currently and trying to figure out where and how in going to start my city. I've seen you progressed through converting your roads and now I'm planning before I start.
If you have the big traffic lights downtown then you should have thr lamp post in the same area. The lights in the road packs should be in the residential area
Lol, I couldn't help but laugh a bit when I saw the notification, for some reason I just got it a bit ago. The number of parts in all that makes me want to do that, but I definitely don't need a bunch at this point. I did see them on bricks and pieces the other day, I might get from there when I need some, especially the cross walks. I personally am not a fan of the speed bumps.
I think you should use the black street lights in the downtown core to match the black traffic lights. Use the Solar street lights & a couple of the other traffic lights in the residential area. The speed bumps would work well in the residential area & the beach area.
I would use the speed bump in the residential area. Also use the speed bumps in any school district (elementary and secondary specifically). I have speed bumps near the school that i work at to force drivers to slow down in case of kids crossing the street.
The older black or white lamp poles would really pop in a park area going along a walking path, the newer street lamps look much better for a modern city
23 would have driven my OCD absolutely crazy. I understand that's how many you determined you need for the city in it's current format, but i'm sure there's going to be a time where you rearrange again and what more. I would have bought 24 for two dozen , or 25 for the divisible by 5. But this is why OCD is a clinical diagnosis, lol. For the choices ... I agree with you and the majority: Speed bumps for residential, not city center. Classic lamp posts for park areas, particularly near the fountain, and maybe in the walking path in front of the theme park. Those mod street lights are fantastic; can you get printed elements for different street names? We watched the live MILS street plate stream and you mentioned that they were on sale on Amazon, so we picked up our first few packs ourselves! We close on our new house this week and plan on having a dedicated basement Lego room (though obviously nowhere near the level of yours) ... so we're really excited to use the roads and start our own little display city!
If you're trying to upgrade then you want to put the better looking stuff. I think it would be cool if you integrated some of your Star Wars stuff into the city or just made a little city for that.
Here's a neat tip: If you want slmething glow in the dark to light up vividly bright, shine your phone flashlight very close to the surface of it and watch the magic!
i think if you have a cross walk by where that path that leads to the amusement park is that would be a good spot for those speed bump as it middle of a long straight way
I would use the old school lamps if you have older appearing buildings for architectural integrity. I would also use the speed bumps in an area where you have more pedestrian traffic like if you have a commercial shopping district. I like the idea of MILS but hate that there aren’t curved pieces for the road.
The slope/ramp pieces could be used on the sides of roads to create kind like a dip on the side for parking and could maybe be used in the residential area
I’m in Langley BC and was at one of our local Toys R Us the other day and they had stocked up on road plate sets and my wife and I thought of you Bricksie when we found them
The old street lamps are better in the downtown core - the old style matches the old style of building. The new ones should be in the residential area and campground as they're typically the type you'd see outside of a city center.

Old school lamp is better. I like the nostalgia.
Yeah good idea

Agreed.
Also agreed
Also also agreed.
For the speedbumps I would say put them in the residential area first and then if you like the look of them you can add them to the downtown area
I love that the road plates set's box specifies "road plates included" 😂
I personally rather the old black light post.
Love the lego city
One thing I’d suggest is using those ramp pieces for railroad crossings, you don’t often see them done on these bigger builds
5:30 ..... AAAA THE FLOWERRR AAAAAAAAAAA
1:14 Oh no… our tower of road plates…. IT’S BROKEN 😂
I like the black lamp posts. They match the larger stop lights.
this is 10 year old me’s dream! Build a huge lego city road with city pieves and race some lego cars down it!

You should add a fire station to the new lego city.great video by the way!

Tower of road plates so funny 😂 great video

It's your city and it looks awesome, so you do what you want. But I think the black street lights looks the best.
Hier ze, de jasper!
Wow! So many pieces. And I know that you will put them all to good use. Speeds of 50 mph on the city streets or the residential streets won’t work in the US! And that is what my sets have.
You are by far becoming my favorite lego RUclips channel !! Love all your videos and your happy energy !!
My OCD loves these types of videos
nice unboxed
Hi Jordan, I'm Dennis Daniels from Cleveland, Ohio! Thanks for sharing your video Lego city road sets!
My condolences.
Cool😄 When all the new roads is being installed in City, would it be soo nice to see the modular school from Friends😁
That is exciting, I cannot wait to open mine. I have 13 currently and trying to figure out where and how in going to start my city. I've seen you progressed through converting your roads and now I'm planning before I start.
I love those road plates I’m excited ♥️💚💙
awesome video jordan i love all the new detail parts that you got for the lego city the new street lights look great
That's a lot of pieces! Can't wait for all the future progress.
You could put the black laps in the walking path / park area... it would be fitting
Great wipeout, the sorting portion of the vid was very cool. Great time lapse
Great video. Use the speed bumps in the residential area.
If you have the big traffic lights downtown then you should have thr lamp post in the same area. The lights in the road packs should be in the residential area
the yellow bit with a crosswalk might be good for in front of the fire station as keep clear section
Speed bumps in the residential area and also in the port.
Use the yellow tiles as a bicycle lane

Hate when I see a typo afterwards..
U are just insane 😂
The old school lamp is so much better
For some details: You could add traffic poles between the bend in the road and the park area to protect pedestrians.
Every lego city builders dream
You could use the ramp pieces for a public bathroom in the Lego city
I think you should use the black street lights in the downtown core to match the black traffic lights. Use the Solar street lights & a couple of the other traffic lights in the residential area. The speed bumps would work well in the residential area & the beach area.
This 🔝🔝
Am have one of this set in my home!
You could use the speed bumps for the top of your barn!
I would use the speed bump in the residential area. Also use the speed bumps in any school district (elementary and secondary specifically). I have speed bumps near the school that i work at to force drivers to slow down in case of kids crossing the street.
I say speed bombs for residential and like where big entrances are like amusement park and zoo zone I'd do a mix of lights of different styles
I think you should do a skate park like AFOL tv did. Just a thought
You should try to paint to start scene of Star Wars you know the bit with the yellow writing on the roof of the stairs down to the Lego room
The older black or white lamp poles would really pop in a park area going along a walking path, the newer street lamps look much better for a modern city
Was able to get a few Creator Modular Buildings and I have decided to put them on MILS plates because of you. You, again, have created a monster. HA!!
Wow that’s a lot LEGO plates I only have one of it .
black lamppost looks more classy and fits the downtown core better imo :) epic video as always man
Yeah speed bumps would look cool now and again just on the main roads
They make great railroad crossing. Since they are hire then the road is some places.
Holy smokes that a lot of recycling and sorting! Lol
Why not buy the plates separately?
I also had the urge to tower the boxes and push them
Wow! That’s a lot!
…So this is why the delivery is so delayed…😂 just kidddinng man. I love it.

Ahhh, messing with my mind. Move that red flower element out of the green stems bin 😬
What is your favorite Modular building
Probably the Detective's Office
@@Bricksie solid pick!
Wow!!

You should build MOC-75782 from Rebrickable from the 10295 Porsche. It is SLICK next to the official model. Also get the rims from OKBrickworks.
Wow interesting 😲✌️ Lego fans like this yeahhh kids dreams 😁😊😎✌️
You should connect both sides of the city together
i fun fackt about that set is that here in denmark you can at max drive 50 km/h in city's
Bricksie today me and my brother met the creator of the lego typewriter! Love the video btw :))
i think if you have a cross walk by where that path that leads to the amusement park is that would be a good spot for those speed bump as it middle of a long straight way

Wow that’s alot
You can you's the pole lights in the streets and walk ways. and other thin light s .at shop s . And bus stops an on buildings. Car parks .an so on 👍
The slope/ramp pieces could be used on the sides of roads to create kind like a dip on the side for parking and could maybe be used in the residential area
Nice! Bought one of these myself for the first time. They are a really great system for roads!
Hi bricksie . Would you please show how you built the really awesome trees in the park. They look so bushy . Tfs
Mrs Bricksie actually did an overview on how we build some of our trees:
ruclips.net/video/ckD8MbU4CZg/видео.html
I love your videos keep up the great work
Use ramps as a solar panel farm
I’m in Langley BC and was at one of our local Toys R Us the other day and they had stocked up on road plate sets and my wife and I thought of you Bricksie when we found them
COULD YOU USE THE DRIVEWAY ENTRY PLATES FOR A CLIFFSIDE?
The only area where a speedbump would be at downtown is if it's by a school
That workshop with all that Lego in must be worth nearly 1million dollars
Your street lamps should look similar to the traffic lights. It would look weird with the 2 different designs
I'm gonna be honest prefer the old streetlamps but this will look way better overall!
The yellow pieces could be used for parking lots.
You should put in an air port
The old street lamps are better in the downtown core - the old style matches the old style of building. The new ones should be in the residential area and campground as they're typically the type you'd see outside of a city center.
What’s the set number for these road sets. And what’s the best place to buy them US thanks so much
Black street lamps look 1000 times better
Your city starts looking so realistic, it makes me smile!
You never know if those road plate boxes will have value 20 years from now.. lol!
Bro please make a build and review of BMW M 1000 RR Bike 🔥🔥🔥
Where do you get all that stuff
The 50km is speed limit in danish cities
i love playing lego
great vid
:D
