I was looking for a How-To video to remove the 5.7L Tundra transmission. I might be doing it some time in the future and I think while I'm there, might as well replace the starter with a new one?

Hello Victor,
Quick question about AC compressor replacement on 2008 Lexus RX 350. Can I have the shop evacuate the system then drive the vehicle home so I can replace the AC unit and then drive it back to the shop to recharge the system? Or is driving the vehicle with empty refrigerant ruin the new AC unit? Thank you, I am just trying to save some money on labor.
@@bb5op585 it’s fine as long as you don’t use A/C. I’d disconnect the magnetic clutch wire at the compressor just to make 100% sure it won’t turn on with no refrigerant in it.
