I have a high end bike but want to start my girlfriend off on this because it’s a great bike, and it’s got all of the standards to upgrade if she decides she likes mountain biking. I can’t find this thing ANYWHERE. I went to every walmart within 50 miles and they were all sold completely out of bikes. As soon as I see one of these I’m jumping on and buying it. Preferably I can order it online to assemble it myself but whatever comes first; I can correct whatever the bike assemblers at walmart may mess up. Good video!
It was available yesterday for like 20 mins :( I was able to purchase 1 ! ! and 5 mins later they were out of stock. Keep checking as I understand they may become available again. (possibly the DP model).
I dig it! I ordered mine yesterday. Gonna see what happens. I was gonna get a Scott spark but figured I need to start out down here to see if I like it enough to spend more on it. LOVE the tensioner.
Thanks for the videos. I bought this bike at a very good price recently. I've ridden it a few times now and like it but reading many comments at Slickdeals on the Axum I'm wondering if it's too big for me and considering returning it (maybe I'm getting info overload). I'm 5'10" and a little north of 200# right now and recently retired looking to take bike rides in the early morning. I can mount the bike fairly easy if I tilt it over a little and can have my feet flat on the ground straddling the frame but less than 1" clearance. Your videos encourage me that maybe the bike may work out for me. I happened to order the same seat you did (my butt is aching me on every bump on my third ride). I was also wondering if moving the handlebar up would help and I see you bought the offset bars to get more height - this may help me too. I will be riding on paved, gravel, and dirt bike trails and not really mountain biking. Do you think this bike is good for this type of riding? Thanks-Mike
I remember in your last video you said it was big.. did U end up changing out the stem? I want this bike but I'm about your height and I'm worried about it being too big.
Well this seat I put on moves more forward so that helps, I have also ordered a new stem and handle bar so I’m curious to see if that helps. I could ride it now and be fine, the bar and stem will hopefully make it better

Yeah it’s a good bike. A couple of mods and you’ll like it even more.

I think this bike will work just fine for you. Change the stem and the handlebars like I did and it will fit you much better!
What size fitting are those pedals
Just a standard size

I'm 5'9 and have been riding this bike for a few months. I feel that it fits me just fine with no problems.
Thanks for the comment. Have you made any modifications to your bike?
@@Myksgarage just a new seat and handlebars so far. Gunna ride it like that til winter then upgrade the fork and brakes.
How tall are you do you think this bike is too big for a 5'6 person?
I’m 5’8. Any shorter than that and it could be too uncomfortable.
