The thing I admire and respect most about your collection is that all the tractors either run or could be made to run with little effort. You put a part of your life in each and every one. That is priceless!
Ross, we all have a vice! Some chew tobacco, some drink liquor, some gamble, some chase women, and you collect tractors. Never found the toll free number to call the help line for tractor collector addiction? Really enjoy your work!
That was a lot of work getting all that stuff out there for your 1-man tractor show. It's amazing how you can remember the story on each tractor and piece of equipment, but I'm the same way with my stuff. I guess when it's important to us, we remember. Nice tractor show.
Ross thanks for taking your time to make a video and talk about the equipment where it came from that's quite interesting 🤔 look forward to your tractor ride video. Thanks Michael
I can relate to your family not being a fan of your treasures 🤣🤣🤣. When I was a kid all the rest of the family would be mad when a new treasure came home, but I was thrilled.
Cool! I knew he had that display at the show but I never realized that he was the model for the painting. Mikey‘s got the rake now and I’ve got the dog. I guess you bring a tractor and we’ll recreate it. Then after that, will conquer re-creating the last supper painting. I like food.
What a great line of equipment. Had never seen an Oliver crimper before. Was at Emporia Kan last weekend at Dale DeLongs farm. They had a haying demonstration and I ran his crimper. Cool stuff.
Good to see you preserving history!!! I've always found it interesting that most equipment typically has a story to tell. Amazing in my home area 50 plus years ago, you couldn't hardly give away a drawbar tractor as everyone wanted a 3pt. We ended up with a 1948 Farmall H one owner in 1968 for $380.00 at a neighbor's auction.
Ross do have nightmare not seeing favorite Oliver 1655 tractor 😅😅😅😅 and made you star😅😅😅😅. Do remember song bring back love feeling sing sweet songs come back Oliver 1655 I miss you so much 1655,1655 come 😢😢tractor who made Ross 😅😅😅😅. Great video's keep up good work thanks again.
My grand parents had a #2 rake back in the day. I pulled it with the Farmall Super C. We didn't like the 3 bar design, beat the leaves off too bad, had much better result with the old Deere high wheel 4 bar. I still use that one.
Hi Ross! It's great seeing all these tractors and how they changed with time. But for me I love seeing the implements. I guess I'm the oddball here because I don't know what they are, or do lol. Like when you were in the wheat field the other day. For the life of me I can't figure out how a combine works! Do you think while you have the wagons circled, you show us how some of the implements work?
You mentioned the Madison show. I was a member of the club that hosted it. To bad covid got in the way of the winter show of '20 that got cancelled because of it.
Yeah, I was in that club at one time as well. I wish that that show had taken place. We started the new group, the Hoosier heritage Oliver Collectors to replace that one.
At this point Ross I’m 15 and my family has excepted my terminal illness of classic tractor fever and I have a farmall H and looking to buy a super 88 diesel hear soon I just bought a plow for my H and a Oliver mounted sickle bar mower for the H

Thanks for taking the time to make the video and share the stories on the equipment, it's much appreciated!
Thank you for watching Jeff!

You got that right! But I think it was worth it. Thanks Charlie!

Thanks Michael! That video should be out I think on Monday
Great show/video.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks!
I can relate to your family not being a fan of your treasures 🤣🤣🤣. When I was a kid all the rest of the family would be mad when a new treasure came home, but I was thrilled.
🤣 the struggle is real!
That's Lyle Dumont in the Oliver Twist painting. They used a picture of him and his equipment as model for the painting.
Cool! I knew he had that display at the show but I never realized that he was the model for the painting. Mikey‘s got the rake now and I’ve got the dog. I guess you bring a tractor and we’ll recreate it. Then after that, will conquer re-creating the last supper painting. I like food.
@@rosstheoliverman I've got a narrow front 77. I think we're set.
Now to find a long table with chairs on only 1 side.
@@ThatOliverGuyChris Don’t forget the floating hand and the knife. Maybe Mike can bring that.
Well it's for sure you'll get 1st place in this category.
Thanks Millard!
Nice line up Ross
Thanks Tim!
I really want to see that #2 rake in action some time. It reminds me of the old McCormick Deering rake we had when I was a kid.
I can’t wait to use it either. It’ll probably end up being next year but hey I’ll have plenty time to get it ready right? 🤣
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Hey Ross , very much enjoyed watching the video! Enjoyed the history! Keep up the good work! It’s great to save these oldies!
Thank you!!
Love the video. I liked the back stories with all of the equipment and tractors. The stories always take me home. Thank you for everything you do.
Thanks Keith!!!

Yeah there definitely was a time when bargains were to be found on tractors with no 3pt. Thanks Don!
Great collection of tractors, nice to learn about them , thanks for sharing your adventures 👍💨💨
Thanks Darren!
Ross I think you have awesome collection thanks for what you do and sharing it
Thank you!

Speaking of y'alls tractor ride, we had us one today. Put about 50 miles on the old Allis D17. Twas a lot of fun
Cool!!!
Something interesting....... should have my 1600B home next week
Awesome!!

Oliver 252 disks are going high dollar right now.
I noticed that as well! For a while you could get them for super cheap.
Nice setup Ross,I like the 770 with the mower and crimper combo
Thanks Sean!!

That’s a good idea! I’ll try to make a video sometime explaining how stuff works. Thanks Ron!
Farmer up the road has 2 of those plows
Cool!

Ross you will need some lot of storage space for all your equipment
It’s definitely a trick to get it all crammed in the shed 🤣
I did see a G350 for sale on a moline website that would add nicely to your fiat Oliver collection
I saw that as well! It was down in Texas and that’s quite a haul.
Oh come on Ross, you could have kept dragging stuff out and made an inner circle. Great video.
I thought about it 🤣🤣🤣
Your tractor show is getting to a point that it about needs a concession stand and a tilt-o-whirl!
🤣🤣🤣
At this point Ross I’m 15 and my family has excepted my terminal illness of classic tractor fever and I have a farmall H and looking to buy a super 88 diesel hear soon I just bought a plow for my H and a Oliver mounted sickle bar mower for the H
Awesome!
What about the square baler, or shouldnt I bring that up? Thanks for the second walk around👍
Sadly I haven’t found an Oliver Baler yet 😭
I ment the other green one😉
Hey Ross where is your PO Box I just wanted to find something to send you
PO Box 81 Brownstown IN 47220
6:28 they only had 2 cylinders for a wile haahahahaha
JD be like all new 6 cylinder engines
Oliver and AC be like 🙄🙄
Yep. That’s how it was.
Was the white 4 wheel drive a tree row special?
It came from an auction. It ran but needed work.
@@rosstheoliverman thank you. Have a good day!
No one ever doubts that I mean what I say. The problem is I sometimes say all that I mean
