🔎 About socials:
If I tag socials, then this should be done for ALL players (without a single exception), and not just for one person. Socials of some players can not be found (players with default nicknames, some Asian players, etc). I am convinced that it's extremely dishonest to tag contacts of few people and not to tag all the rest, so there will be no social links in description.
But I respect the players whose matches I post. Therefore, if you are sure that videos presented "as is" are not acceptable, I will stop posting content with your participation and remove the ones posted earlier.

I'd really like to know who first said that Faust is a good MU for Ky. The man basically smokes half our playstyle just by holding down.

It's down back or down forward, and down back only works if you're not close. Faust usually crumples to 6P, dash block, whiff baiting, and aggressive close range play as he has a tough time not getting backed into a corner if you play correctly up close. Do strike throw oki because he has only basic system mechanics on defense. Work on your stun edge timing and just dash 5K if he decides to crawl rather than j2K so he can't stand or attack without getting hit by you or the projectile - in fact, dash in anyway and try to block the j2K on reaction - it'll hit you too high and be completely punishable. You won't get great stun edge pressure on him but you don't need it as you're preventing him from throwing items. Anybody that can prevent faust from throwing items without being too risky is a winning match up vs him, and Ky definitely qualifies. Faust is a low damage, fragile character, so you can afford to change your playstyle a little to beat him.

It's Tyurara: sometimes he plays like a fucking god, and sometimes he seems like a floor 10 player with some extra knowledge. Here he clearly wasn't in shape, he made a lot of errors and dropped a lot of combos, but usually he's way better than this. That said, Faust is a pretty bad MU for Ky imho, and Nage played good.
@@massimilianodelrosso5495 only saw one actually dropped combo and that was in a round he won. Also, people gotta stop acting like tyurara plays in the absurd ways he did in 2020, he has a really solid and structured playstyle and has for a while. sometimes you just get beat, no need to say some weird and quite frankly wrong shit to explain it away.

1:12 he tries to do 236H for launch but since SS was exhausted he had to spend a bar to convert properly and still dropped since he used j.S > j.H instead of j.D or j.H > j.D. A simple 214S into pickup with 2K or 6H Oki could probably have break the wall again with minimum effort.
2:50 he tries to burst bait when Nage doesn't even have burst, thus dropping a surefire WB.
4:40 he stops another combo without even trying to break the wall when he could at least try either 214S into dash 2K or even combo with 2K > 6H > 214S, one could think he was planning to keep Faust in the corner, but he could at least use 214S for a HK and then do a meaty 5K at least. I can give him credit tho, maybe he was trying something since c.S *seemed* to hit meaty, but i still think there were better solutions.
5:32 he could just have landed after j.D and use c.S > 6H > 214S (or 2K > 6H > 214S) to WB, but he tries to combo with 2P and drops again, probably because he was stressed by Nage reading him like a book, i like to think the super in the corner the previous round got him pretty heated up.
With this comment of course i don't want to say i'm better than him, but just explain that i know what i'm talking about: i'm not nearly as good as Tyurara and Nage would have eaten me alive in his place, but i'm a Celestial Ky with 600 hours with the man, and i can recognize a good King when i see one, and Tyurara usually is a lot stronger than this, even with his offensive and crazier style.
@@massimilianodelrosso5495 the first one is the dropped combo. 2:50 is an intentional set up because empty jump 5k is a safe jump so people do a delayed airdash back for high/low, its not a burst bait. 4:40 same thing that he wanted the corner for pressure instead of the break, I also probably would of structured it differently but tyurara values pressure of cS more than i do so its whatever. 5:32 yet again not a drop, cS doesnt connect after the second jD there so he does 2p and just starts pressure again. So, yet again an intentional choice.
With the exception of the first one these are all just choices made cause he might want to approach the matchup in a certain way. You or I might make different choices and just go for the highest damage per combo but these certainly arent flaws in execution or "drops".
