That was mostly from risk gauge build-up; Nage was blocking too much, therefore the damage from that combo was multiplied. If you really played any of the Guilty Gear games, you would know that.
Edit: actually it's spelled "R.I.S.C." not "Risk". But who even cares when it sounds the same?
