Premieres in 78 minutes, the anxiety
Yarnhub just made every other animation channel look like total noobs with the animation on that mustache! Keep it up
Very good version of the historical account that History Channel's Dogfights recreated. Col. Robin Olds was so frustrated that the Phantoms were not equipped with guns. The air-to-air missiles were un-reliable.
The animation of this channel went from 0 to 100 real quick. Can say the same as my favorite history channel, not sure how you don't have 1mil subscribers yet
I set my reminder. I can't wait for another awesome video!
Good video, man!
I always thought the F4 Phantom was one of the coolest looking fighters ever devised. Reminds me of a flying Corvette.
Imagine what the mig pilot felt when he was thinking they scrambled for thundercheifs but it turned out to be phantoms...
So the vietnamese air force detects hostile planes and so launches a dozen of MIG-21s....without air-to-air missiles. That is a super realistic scenario.
Absolutely love it. Never get tired of hearing about operation bolo
How big of a surprise must those Vietnamese pilots have got when they came face to face when they realized this fight wasn't gonna be on their terms
There were about 11,835 U.S helicopters that served in the Vietnam War. The U.S records showing 5,607 helicopter losses[2]
In total, the United States military lost in Vietnam almost 10,000 aircraft, helicopters and UAVs (3,744 planes,[3] 5,607 helicopters[2] and 578 UAVs[1] ).
The Republic of Vietnam lost 1,018 aircraft and helicopters from January 1964 to September 1973.[4] 877 Republic of Vietnam aircraft were captured at war's end (1975)[5] Of the 2750[6] aircraft and helicopters received by South Vietnam, only about 308 survived (240 flew to Thailand or US warships[7] and 68 returned to the United States[8]).
The United States, along with their allies (The Republic of Vietnam, South Korean, Australian, Thailand, New Zealand), lost about 12,500 aircraft, helicopters and UAVs (50% casualty).
North Vietnam lost 150 - 170 aircraft and helicopters (8% casualty).
US lost:
F-4 Phantom II-445 total, 382 in combat
