Yeap that cheap tfi will have you running around in circles. Rock auto has a brand “United” I found to work pretty good.

You think if i remove the wheels put some jack stands maybe even unbolt the steering rack ill be able to do it with the engine hoist alone? I'm getting ready to do the same thing to a 82 thunderbird

@123thef honestly no.. I remember I tried to remove the pan, but the hump closer to the harmonic ballancer would not clear.
