Im pregnant right now and I can’t put into words how your testimony has just helped reveal so many things, beyond just the pregnancy and labor, but also how faith and trust have to be bridged and sometimes we get so caught up in our faith in him but without trusting him. I was induced and spent 2 days in labor (totally thinking that when the doctor sent me to be induced on Friday that I was going to have my baby on friday (first time mommy what did I know) but I told God that He was in control 🥰 Every struggle, every battle, let's us know that we're human and shows us how to depend on Him - God as our father - and He uses these struggles to make us stronger and resilient - like gold that has to be put thru the fire to be made into something truly beautiful... you think so? then you haven't heard of families beeing destroyed after their child has died and they grieved too much and their surviving children grew up in a home full of grief and no one had time or strenght for the surviving child..If you ask those families if they think god only gave them what they "could handle" you'll get a compleate different answer.. there are loads of families who got a lot more than they could handle,sorry to burst your bubble..
mrsC Mac yes I heard of a family that was destroyed and it’s in the book of job in the Bible he lost everything and was very overwhelmed but in spite of the chaos in his life god still give him the strength to overcome. God knows job could handle it and that was his storm he had to go through. We all have different problem that we faced and some are greater that others but god will always be there no matter what and take us out of it you just have to have faith and believe.

My first baby took a while, and my husband and mom was in military out of town. My older sister was with me and then she had to leave to bring my other sister home. My Dad came in the morning. Thank God for God , he was with me. My husband was in the room for my second, she took awhile. Our 3rd baby came so quick,the nurse delivered her. .........10 years later we had twin girls my husband and my mom was in the delivery room ,my first epidural. Twin A came quickly,twin b never turned and thank God the doctor had to get her out. Our daughters ages are 29,26,24 and 15,15. So glad that y'all birth story went well!
What a testimony! My husband and I have a similar story! Love Jesus! Our family is also wonderful blended (Husband is from India)! Fertility challenges, long wait to get pregnant, miracle pregnancy, long labor and delivery, beautiful health baby, revelation that God’s ways are not our ways and His ways are best. My pastors wife said something that comes to mind about what happens when we don’t get what we ask for in prayer, “Not what I hoped, prayed or planned but better than I could have ever imagined.” That’s the God we serve! I feel you! My first birth took 36 hours! Our labor stories are SO similar. I envy your beautiful home birth, I didn't have that option...I am so blessed that my body has no problem carrying a baby but doesn't want to let it go apparently, I had to be induced after 40 weeks with both my son and daughter and also due to low fluid for both of them. I was so exhausted I finally dis break down and have an epidural at hour 34. Great job Brian! My husband's name is Brian too (lol) and ya'll men get ao exhausted too! Your story is beautiful and the birth as well! What an amazing family support system too!

A different video of yours was in my recommendations and 5 videos later I end up here. Omg! I love this testimony. I had the same book. With my first son I had that “supernatural” childbirth described in the book so with my second I was so confident....but God had other plans. I had a very very very similar experience to yours. Between, praying, worshipping, hours in labor, my cervix opening up very slowly. I felt like I was in a battle and I felt defeated. But I could hear God the entire time. I am here. I am with you. He just kept encouraging me. After it was all said and done I realized it was still supernatural and the people in the room had the opportunity to witness Gods presence.

Beautiful little girl. It’s amazing how we petition God how we want and believe things should go. Doesn’t mean it’s wrong because we are believing and standing on Faith. He is taking us to a higher Faith in him. I too had to learn this. When my sister died I believed God for total healing and he had to show me that she was healed but not in the way I believed it would happen. It was definitely a hard lesson but his way was the best way. 🙏🏽🙏🏽

"Man plans, God laughs". God is always trying to remind us that He wants to be in control over everything in our lives and that we can absolutely trust Him and His way no matter what.
Congratulations on such a beautiful gift. I have come to realized like the scripture states, many are the plans in a man's heart but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails them all Proverbs 19:21. There are times our hearts faint because feel as though," God have you forsaken me", in such trying moments, but He never forsakes us. He has a plan that is greater than ours. The greater the battle the sweeter the victory. Aza is called with such a great/anointed assignment that it sometimes comes with a great test (look at all the greats in the Bible at their birth). Lexi and Brian God has given you guys one of His angels (you are very special). He knows the plans He has towards you and it is good. Th3lite mmm it’s not necessarily things and terms changing but more so not trying to stress the mother. A contraction is most commonly associated with pain but surges are associated with power so honestly I think it was more so instilling confidence and comfort to the mother

I think a lot of the times we see “short” labors because a lot of women may not count it the same way. Most people just count hospital time (Ex. 4 hours) instead of the time from consistent contraction. I’m a mom of two. 1st labor was 21 hours and 2nd labor was 24 hours from the start of consistent contractions. I shared my labor experience on my channel - I was completely shook with both labors because my experience didn’t go the way I planned (and timing), but I appreciated the active experience I got from it - and healthy babies of course 🙂. What I realized though is that we can have these requests, but God has our plans written already for us - the way it’s meant to happen. Congrats on Aza - you did amazing!

I saw your birth video 2 days ago and I was completely in awe of God shining through in the whole process around your daughter being born. From you putting post it stickers or notes and scriptures in prominent places, wasn’t just affirmations of your faith in God and his Word, but a declaration to prevent the enemy from being denied access to you when you were at your most weak and vulnerable. God gave you exactly what you could bear. It will be a testament to your faith in God more as your daughter grows up and you deal with whatever challenges come. God gets the glory in everything and he will not give it to another or allow anything that is not of him to get the praise. My first baby took a while, and my husband and mom was in military out of town.
My older sister was with me and then she had to leave to bring my other sister home. My Dad came in the morning.
Thank God for God , he was with me. My husband was in the room for my second, she took awhile.
Our 3rd baby came so quick,the nurse delivered her. .........10 years later we had twin girls my husband and my mom was in the delivery room ,my first epidural. Twin A came quickly,twin b never turned and thank God the doctor had to get her out. Our daughters ages are 29,26,24 and 15,15.

What a testimony! My husband and I have a similar story! Love Jesus! Our family is also wonderful blended (Husband is from India)! Fertility challenges, long wait to get pregnant, miracle pregnancy, long labor and delivery, beautiful health baby, revelation that God’s ways are not our ways and His ways are best. My pastors wife said something that comes to mind about what happens when we don’t get what we ask for in prayer, “Not what I hoped, prayed or planned but better than I could have ever imagined.” That’s the God we serve! I feel you! My first birth took 36 hours! Our labor stories are SO similar. I envy your beautiful home birth, I didn't have that option...I am so blessed that my body has no problem carrying a baby but doesn't want to let it go apparently, I had to be induced after 40 weeks with both my son and daughter and also due to low fluid for both of them. I was so exhausted I finally dis break down and have an epidural at hour 34. Great job Brian! My husband's name is Brian too (lol) and ya'll men get ao exhausted too! Your story is beautiful and the birth as well! What an amazing family support system too!

Omg! I love this testimony. I had the same book. With my first son I had that “supernatural” childbirth described in the book so with my second I was so confident....but God had other plans. I had a very very very similar experience to yours. Between, praying, worshipping, hours in labor, my cervix opening up very slowly. I felt like I was in a battle and I felt defeated. But I could hear God the entire time. I am here. I am with you. He just kept encouraging me. After it was all said and done I realized it was still supernatural and the people in the room had the opportunity to witness Gods presence.

Beautiful little girl. It’s amazing how we petition God how we want and believe things should go. Doesn’t mean it’s wrong because we are believing and standing on Faith. He is taking us to a higher Faith in him. I too had to learn this. When my sister died I believed God for total healing and he had to show me that she was healed but not in the way I believed it would happen. It was definitely a hard lesson but his way was the best way. 🙏🏽🙏🏽

"Man plans, God laughs". God is always trying to remind us that He wants to be in control over everything in our lives and that we can absolutely trust Him and His way no matter what.
Congratulations on such a beautiful gift. I have come to realized like the scripture states, many are the plans in a man's heart but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails them all Proverbs 19:21. There are times our hearts faint because feel as though," God have you forsaken me", in such trying moments, but He never forsakes us. He has a plan that is greater than ours. The greater the battle the sweeter the victory. Aza is called with such a great/anointed assignment that it sometimes comes with a great test (look at all the greats in the Bible at their birth). Lexi and Brian God has given you guys one of His angels (you are very special). He knows the plans He has towards you and it is good. Y’all story just blessed me! God gave me that revelation about not knowing your capacity when I was training and ran a half marathon. We may not know what we are able of BUT God does!! Th3lite mmm it’s not necessarily things and terms changing but more so not trying to stress the mother. A contraction is most commonly associated with pain but surges are associated with power so honestly I think it was more so instilling confidence and comfort to the mother

But God's omniscience...my baby (who is now 9) is healthy and a joy to us. Nothing turned out like I prayed for (oh my prayers were SO SPECIFIC) but my God knew best. I end up getting a spinal block so i did not feel anything from waist down. It felt like my legs floating..lol.. It was very hard to sleep until i got that shot.

I think a lot of the times we see “short” labors because a lot of women may not count it the same way. Most people just count hospital time (Ex. 4 hours) instead of the time from consistent contraction. I’m a mom of two. 1st labor was 21 hours and 2nd labor was 24 hours from the start of consistent contractions. I shared my labor experience on my channel - I was completely shook with both labors because my experience didn’t go the way I planned (and timing), but I appreciated the active experience I got from it - and healthy babies of course 🙂. What I realized though is that we can have these requests, but God has our plans written already for us - the way it’s meant to happen. Congrats on Aza - you did amazing!

God takes us through a wilderness experience to teach us to let go and let God...So happy you and your bundle of joy are healthy. This is the birthing process, full of twists and turns. Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. You are a "solja" Lexi to have gone through so many hours of labor. It was wonderful how all your family prayed for you. Some women go through two and three days like my friend that labored 36 hours. I would have lost it!!! I'm so happy you have your precious baby girl. She is so alert. She is Brian's twin😘

I saw your birth video 2 days ago and I was completely in awe of God shining through in the whole process around your daughter being born. From you putting post it stickers or notes and scriptures in prominent places, wasn’t just affirmations of your faith in God and his Word, but a declaration to prevent the enemy from being denied access to you when you were at your most weak and vulnerable. God gave you exactly what you could bear. It will be a testament to your faith in God more as your daughter grows up and you deal with whatever challenges come.
God gets the glory in everything and he will not give it to another or allow anything that is not of him to get the praise.
