Bad ass! About to order up the Simplicity 320 DC Co2 Attachment! I'm having a hard time finding a C02 scrubber that uses 1/2 barb though. My skimmer tubing is 1/2 but all the scrubbers I'm seeing online use 3/8 tubing/barb head. I could add a barb attachment worst case scenario. What scrubber are you using that comes with 1/2 barbhead?

Received mine yesterday for my Curve 7. Works perfect, fits perfect, very happy! PH is rock steady all night while I run the skimmer. Skimmer is off during the day as PH is plenty high enough at 8.3. Last night was 8.2 - 8.24. Well done!!

That's a nice design for sure 👍 You should show your alk consumption or dosing increase with the higher ph. Personally I had to double my calcium reactor after I added it 🦉🍻

I would suggest noting that if using a recirculating CO2 scrubber people should have a method of turning off their skimmer if/when the cup gets full so that the scrubber doesn't suck in water.
It would be like dumping kalk into the sump plus whatever chemicals they use for color change.
I have a reef octopus regal that has a float switch shut off, I would never run a recirc without some method of overflow prevention.
Keep it up I enjoy the videos. I'm trying to set up a 75 gallon reef tank now.

Nice idea. So, you have CA reactor effluent going into the Skimmer. The Skimmer airline intake is enough draw to pull air from skimmer cup through media?

After using the recirculating method how long does the media last
Depends on a lot of factors. What’s the ambient co2 in your home? How many folks live there? How big is your tank? My ambient co2 is about 450-600ppm, I live in about 1600 square feet of condo. I have a 100 gallon tank with just SPS. 3lbs of media lasts me 4-6 months. 1.5lbs goes into my container and lasts 2-3 months. In a non recirculating setup I’m lucky if that lasts 3 weeks.

So I’m interested in having a carbon basket made for the top of my skimmer to cut down of the stink. I haven’t seen this offered anywhere. Is it something you’d be interested in?

Can you do this recirculating set up on a curve elite 5? I only have one intake nipple on my air silencer. Or do I need to add a “Y” fitting to still pull fresh air

What about a taller 3D print rim attachment to add an overflow port lower than the port you added for CO2 scrubber that you can add a tube onto and direct the overflow to your sump. Don't want overflow going to scrubber
