I was 2 years old in 1954! We almost lost our lives in a flood in Ozona, Texas! It happened on my 2nd birthday but of course, I was too little to remember! Our house and car was destroyed! We moved back to Kermit, Texas!
Back in the good ole days!

Yeah Michele...I can remember laying on my side on the living room floorwatching "My Little Margie" on our tiny TV screen when I was a kid! Thosewere happy times, with the many other wonderful shows of that era. WhatI would give to go back.

I remember first seeing"My Little Margie"in reruns weekday mornings on WCBS TV Ch.2 in NYC...back in the late 1950's...I always got a kick..out of the crazy stunts that"Margie"(Ms.Storm),"Mrs.Oddetts" and "Freddie"would pull on her onscreen dad"Vern Albright"(Mr.Farrell),his boss"Mr.Honeywell"(Mr.Kolb)and their clients.

Wow, I haven't seen this show in many, many, years. One of my favorites as a kid.

I remember watching this show in re-runs as a kid, I thought Ms Storm was funny without being silly or stupid. One of my favorite parts of the show was the gimmick with the talking portraits (obviously, I was easily impressed as a kid). The first/older episodes had the portraits talk at the start of the show, but preferred the later episodes where the talking came at the end and tied up any loose ends.
I seem to remember another comedy series starring Ms Storm, but may be thinking of one of her movies.

The original closing sequences seen during the first season were deleted from syndicated prints, because the photo was next to a pack of Philip Morris cigarettes {the original sponsor during 1952 and '53). One or two of them DID appear in some prints, though.
