I have one in the back of mine. Funny thing, two days later I ran over a nail and I used the inflator kit that came with the car. It works! Granted the nail was in the center of the tread so it was the perfect spot for it to treat, but it saved me from doing a tire change. Either way, between my spare tire and a lithium ion battery jumper I keep with me, I'm prepared to go just about anywhere now.
You can get a hitch mount for the spare tire If your CRV has a towing hitch. I'm thinking to get hitch installed just to carry a spare on longer camping trips since Hybrids can't tow anyway

Like you, I dont mind tooling around my state without a spare. However, on a long trip, I'm a little paranoid about not having a spare. I'm seriously thinking of pulling the trigger on this. Nice!! I have about 27,000. Hbu? No. I had one on my old car. And when they run out of battery 🪫 the alert doesn’t go away. You have to buy whole new ones to get rid of the alert.
my only worry is having it stolen if its not inside the car like i would take my care to san fran and to think i takes my trunk room and if i hoist it outside it could get robbed

I haven’t. Maybe if there was a latch point higher up. This works well for me though. I just put everything on top

I just cancelled a 2025 Touring hybrid order due to no spare. From a safety perspective, not having a spare makes zero sense.
