How to make POMPANO JIGS - Part 1:
I made this video to share with you all how I make my own POMPANO JIGS. I’ve been wanting to make my own POMPANO JIGS to save some money. I purchased my 8 pieces 1.0-ounce POMPANO JIGS with TEASERS for $6.99 each (way more expensive than a Titleist Pro V and Pro V1x golf balls) and 10 pieces 0.5-ounce yellow POMPANO JIG for $1.70 each from Amazon. The rocks took them all and I have not caught a single POMPANO. I found out I can buy these POMPANO JIGS for much cheaper from Walmart, but my problem was, the TEASER wasn’t included. So, I learned how to make my own TEASERS. My dream came true after hours and hours of searching on the internet for this thing that will allow me to make my own POMPANO JIGS. It is called MOLD and etsy.com is selling them. I am kind of disappointed that I couldn’t find this kind of MOLD in the U.S. It was actually the guy from Novi Sad, Serbia who made and sells it. It took a few weeks to arrive, and I waited a few more weeks before I started making my own POMPANO JIGS because I have to order the lead, melting pot, hooks and other tools from Amazon. The first melting pot I purchased was horrible. I was having a terrible headache. It smells so bad. Not sure if the smell is coming from the melting pot itself or the lead. Your suggestions, tips and comments are very much appreciated.

I use diagonal side cutters to cleanly remove that extra casting. Very quick and easy. Clean that hook eye before you cook the paint.

Below is the description I took from the seller. Try searching for pompano jig mold. You can find this in ebay and etsy.com. The seller is selling it for $150.
In the largest cavity 28g takes a 3/0,4/0 & even a 5/0 long shank hook.
In the 21g cavity 1/0 & 2/0 long shank hooks
In the 14g cavity 1/0 & size 1 long shank hooks.
In the 11g cavity size 1 long shank hooks
In the 7g & 5g cavity takes a size 2 long shank hook.
