"-He's made a deal, to walk!"
"Yeah, but it didn't affect my memory."
Awesome response right there from the witness, that's some bravery
"Whatever she does, is it hard on the heart?"
"She's hard on everything..."
Now *that* is some truthful testimony, lol...
How gross it would have to be to be in that profession. Random ugly males all over you. Repulsive, no matter how much money it is.
@@TS-rd7oy I'm sure the clients weren't random, even streetwalkers have "regulars" and they can turn a client down.
All thanks to Dr Abiola on RUclips for curing me permanently from HIV with his herbal medicine 💗🌿.
I can see the future. You’re going to read me my rights
"All positives are double checked"
What an absolute punch.. and this is the early 90s basically a death sentence and you can see how stone was like looking at a dead woman walking
...And the dead woman staring down at the upturned knife, as if she could feel the pain of the news being more pronounced by her look at the object.
Was anyone else worried about how the woman was holding that kitchen knife when she heard the news regarding her positive test?
They probably should have waited until she put the knife down.
@@abduljah9355 That's about what I was thinking. I mean, from a director's perspective, I can see it, it's just that Stone is experienced enough that I'd have expected him to think of it, and while Robinette is younger, he's not *that* young.
When she started moving her other hand I was expecting her to slit her wrist.
Whwn you see someone hold a knife like u know they crazy

"What kind of test?" Beautifully acted by this lady. "Health food."
This episode was aired in 1990. We've come a long way since then. At that time being HIV positive was a death sentence (although not always) but now there are many drugs to treat the virus and there might be a cure soon. Medical science isn't perfect, but it saves lives.
@@rhiannasmith9786 TBI total body irradiation delivers a fatal dose of radiation to the total body... any hiccups and you die.. hardly a cure for the general hiv patient. also the donors need to be double delta 32 which is quite rare

HIV has a better prognosis than diabetes.
from what I know a few ppl have been cured 100% which is great it means the scientist's or who ever deals with that part of it are on the way to finding a cure
First time I heard about a cure for AIDS was in the late 1980's. At a news conference a little known doctor named Anthony Fauci said they were 2-3 years from a cure and that was at least 35 years ago. I wouldn't hold my breath.
Lawyer: This man is despicable he made a deal to walk.
Witness: Yeah but did not affect my memory.
Nice come back.
The fact that she had to get that news from the ADA... Not her doctor... Is reprehensible.
Those are rare instances.
Was it the doctor that tested her?
She did say she was tested 2 months ago
They didn't get that result from the doctor though, wasn't it from them investigating a blood sample?
Dear lawd I thought she was gonna flop down on that blade…. Sheeeeesssh that was tense to watch🥺🤦🏽♀️
Me:*reads the title before watching the episode*
Jolene,Jolene ,Jolene, jolene she took my man and then got HIV
Shoulda kept Aaron Rodgers!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Glad I'm not the only one.
That guy on the stand is a great actor. Plus he is hilarious: “she’s hard on everything.” 😂
Can you imagine being a pro at that time period. And a John. That would be terrifying.
1:52 that's a Cross pen. I have those and they are CLASSY.
They’re the “higher” end of low end pens. You can buy these at regular stores.
can the jury actually laugh like that or literally show any emotion during a court case?
According to a Google search that took less than 10 seconds, they actually can as long as its appropriate, if it was inappropriate or disruptive they would be given a warning and then either removed or held in contempt (idk spelling on that one)
They're human beings.
@@thraciuspratt4915 it was just a question relax
@@alliliciousanimations8727 well, my family has told me the jury can’t really do anything related the case so, even if it’s just a show i was just puzzled on why the judge didn’t silence the jury 😟 didn’t know my question was offensive
@@PicassostrashI was curious, too.
Jolene is Jenny Robertson
She's the girl who played Millie in Bull Durham.
Because yeah, you wanted to know.
You're welcome.
Uh, why is this news not being given to this woman by a DOCTOR?!
because it's tv drama
Duty of care. Hiv was probably reportable back then too.
When you sleep with 100s, I would be shocked not to get HIV 😂😂😂
I'm starting to not like to hear "tested positive"
Well, yeah. In a doctors office that's a negative
@@John231984 I get that, I almost had COVID, then I was tested negative and got my booster shot

...I'm beggin' of you, please don't take my man.
The jury and courtroom spectators laughing at all this is disgusting and reprehensible
I agree. Disgusting.
It's probably an accurate description of how seriously people took this back then. Today, it's normal to blur the line between the information and entertainment aspects of an ongoing news story, but back then it was still sort of new. The real Mayflower Madam actually appeared in spots for a city newspaper (think it was TDN) advertising excerpts of her book which appeared in it's magazine.
When you lie down with dogs...you get up with fleas.
Seems like gilligansi island where they took a two hour tour.
Gotta love that social engineering.
This episode reminded me of a game show. I have never seen a law order episode so light-hearted.
Isn't this the episode where 1 of the prostitutes finds out she's got AIDS?
Albany Ga has high HIV, STD, and Chlamydia cases.
Why are the original 20 seasons not available to stream on peacock and nearly impossible to find …
Right??? 😒
Right and the fact that they give us these mini doses is so torturous w
I know so annoying
Some of those johns were hilarious.
This episode have me 😊
Who holds a knife like that?
Someone who just found out she’s HIV positive and probably thought about what to do with the knife
Maybe
An actress who doesn't know how to cook
Why are you holding a knife like that?
Cuz she has no idea how to chop vegetables
Nice video
Law and Order: STI
😂😂😂😂😂
😅🤣
4:40 What, that wasn't a solid answer? It sounds like one to me.
Whats with the jokes from the witnesses and the laughing from the jury ?
1:28- Huh, she sure took that well.
I believe the black fellow on the witness stand was the crack addict in a prior episode... The one that sold books on the street.
Oh. Alrighty then...
Again... Who's Rosa?!!!/..#Money1776
My voice is high.
But OMG.

What was this episode about?
Prostitution Ring run by a Socialite.
Was it based on Heidi fleiss?
@@missladyanonymity this was before that came out
Didn't humpty trumpty get caught up in this?lol
Like seriously slept with about 2,000 women 🤔
Ugh...."use" the women. What a horrible and sexist term.
The word "use" is gender neutral.
Anybody can be used. Exploited. Discarded.
Regardless of country, women, young girls and young boys are exploited the most and highly affected than men. There are male victims too and their rights should be protected too.
Use their services. What else he was supposed to say, those girls provide certain services and get paid. It's the definition of use.
This girl even didn't care if that man died and you are triggered by the word use? ???
Grow up
