I’m usually good with wordplay and catching bars, but I caught a lot more with your reaction. It was great. I’d listened to it daily since I came out and I’m catching more like you said. Em is the greatest. Great reaction!
people hating on this album are just wave riders that don't care about hip hop, their only points is that THEY PERSONALLY find it "cringe" that he is sending shots at people lol that's what rap is about !
It's not cringy because he's taking shots. It's cringy because he won't take any responsibility for Revival being trash and the entire album doesn't have any actual content or anything interesting lyrically, besides his incredible use of language, of course. No one can take his rhyme schemes away or say they're trash, or his amazing flow and delivery. However at this point in my life, I don't care as much about how well he can rap, I already know he can rap. I want to hear him say something interesting or at the very least different, and for it not to come off as super poppy and crappily produced like Revival. Lucky you is fire though. The rest of the album feels pretty mediocre to me and Eminem is capable of more, or at least I hope he is.
I can see where you and others are coming from, but if you listen to the songs carefully, as well as the recent interview he did with Sway, you understand why he`s made this album. It`s not that he can`t take criticism, but he feels like he is getting punished for 1# Setting the bar so high for himself due to previous success, 2# People hate on what`s different to todays radio hip hop and 3# People simply don`t appreciate lyricism anymore. I think it`s only fair he gets to retaliate.
Thats wat most people dont get about the “tyler the create-nothin” line. Hes pissed about so many two faced people. Say one thing, chill, hangout, laugh, do ya thing then go to someone else and say his shits trash. “Snakes in the GAHTDAMN rapgame” ** Samuel L. Jackson voice**

Watched a lot of reaction videos to kamikaze so far and MAD props to you guys because you guys dissect and analyze verses very well.. while for the mass majority.. these double entendre bars (which takes skill and intelligence) just go over people’s heads and think it’s just a simple regular rhyme.. You guys even showed me a couple of things I ain’t catch.. keep up the good work and keep teaching/showing these mumble rap zombies what real bars are..
I think yall missed the "...R Kelly." verse. He was not only calling out Machine Gun Kelly but also comparing MGK to R Kelly because MGK said some inappropriate stuff about Em's daughter when she was underage. This is why Em is pretty unfuckwithable.
Just came across you guys while watching reactions to Em. You two were the only two that caught it ALL. That understood all the bars. I like you two. I’m a new fan. I also agree with 99.9% that you say. Keep it up!
Thought you guys missed that Cowboy line. It connects from "That same Marshal". "That same Marshal/Marshall. That Outlaw. That they say as a writer/rider might have fell off/ fell off horse. I'm back on that bull shit/ bull like the cowboy."
Hey guys, one clever bar from Eminem/Shady. @28:24 He mentions the part where he is carryin an oxford dictionary and the next he says how he is buryin these artists and compares himself to a car cause he's barely getting started. Its a layered bar, carryin' an/carrion which also means decayed flesh ties with burying these artists and ends with car cause/carcass as in dead body.
Finally, people that actually react to the music. You missed the bar on Lucky You - he says "I got a couple of mentions/mansions Still I don't have any manners/Manors " as in houses 😲🔥
@Frank Lee Well yes, that was the play on words. He made mentions and mansions sound alike, which is why the homophone of manners and manors makes sense here.
Y'all murked this review. I had the same reactions. Laughing uncontrollably at punchlines, then silent when I realized who he was goin' at when he said the, "...I don't believe in ghosts" line. Great review. Stay on the grizzy. We see you.
I never understood why someone would watch a reaction video, but seeing how much you guys enjoy this, is really fun to watch. Thanks for catching some insider lines!
Agree with a lot of the people below and I mentioned this on another Em reaction video you guys had, legit the best dudes breaking down the bars. Very impressive for sure. We need more!
At 17:25 the bar “A Freudian slip, subconsciously, I honestly wished” honestly that’s crazy. Because of Sigmond Freud and working on the subconscious mind in neuroscience. Em will get me through my Psych class.
Damn! Thanks for highlighting this verse man 👊 I never listened to this track much cos I was never into D12 etc so I could never relate to much of the track well. But that verse is profound on so many levels. Your comment hits the nail on the head, but I'd also like to add that Freud is the _Father of Psychoanalysis,_ which at its heart is a therapeutic method of addressing unconscious and deep rooted thoughts, ultimately aiming to release pent-up/repressed emotions and memories. With that in mind, when you consider the structure of the whole song & its content, that one line really doesn't stand as something casually inserted without consideration. Though not much ever is with Eminem, the more I learn. I always appreciate his use of 'take me to the river' right at the start. Edit: Typos
"you gotta be diamond to even climb in the ring" also talking about how he has multiple diamond albums meaning they sold 10 mil copies. which no other rapper has multiple so no one can come at him
the analogy is also dope. "you gotta be diamond to even climb in the ring" could be a fight ring like for a battle, or a gold ring only has most value with diamonds on it. So many layers in one sentence is genius.
You two are some of the best 'reactors' I've ever watched when it comes to Hip-Hop. Great insights and analysis, great reactions, great content. Keep up the good work guys!
Watching this 4 years after the fact and “By the time your reign (rain) is over, you’ll hardly be missed (mist)” still one of the hardest lines I ever heard in a song ever
Nice reaction and Congrats! Don't know if you caught it but "you really know who you are kelly" Refers to R.Kelly as well since MGK was tweeting about Em's (at the time underage) daughter. Keep Up, you have a new sub
Yo! This had me cracking up each time y'all paused laughing. Good shit! These videos are extra nice when you got a smart dude behind the wheel breaking it down.
You guys did the best review out there on Not Alike, honestly the amount of people who miss the double or triple meanings behind a mere snippet of a single bar is staggering. Way to go, months after kamikaze dropped, I love going back to this vid!
Y’all have been, by far, the most thorough for this album. Breaking down every lyric, not many other channels can do that as well as y’all did, especially for Eminem. Phenomenal review & reaction.
Yo you guys are actually attentive, listen, and dissect the bars and are intelligent. You catch the intricate word play and the double entendres really quick. That and you break it down for those who can't catch em lol. Ya'll just gained a new subscriber. Keep up the great work.
I've been going back to this reaction vid. I like how you discuss/explain the lyrics. I'm so far from hiphop and your explanations (esp. the guy in black/FILA shirt) are great in helping me appreciate Eminem's genius even more. I wish you guys will do a more thorough/complete reaction vid for each song. You guys are the best reactors that I've watched on YT! Good job!
That reaction to the “mist/missed” was the correct response to REALLY hearing what Em is intending you to hear - for the real listeners. Ngl y’all up there with my top reactors/break downs for Em’s music. Appreciate y’all
28:47 i think y’all missed where he said “like my monthly bill from sprint they charging me for a selfie\cell fee”. He means the woman are charging to him for a selfie because of the previous line and the obviously one of course🔥🔥🔥🔥
So we had to re-upload this because youtube blocked the last video (the support on that was crazy btw, much love to you guys) hopefully this one stays up.

Still I don't have any manners/Manors " as in houses 😲🔥
FUUCK! A month later, and i didn't catch til you mentioned it! Good ear
The Tesso nice!
@Frank Lee Well yes, that was the play on words. He made mentions and mansions sound alike, which is why the homophone of manners and manors makes sense here.
@Frank Lee You are right but it can also meant the other thing. Em's lyrics have double meaning that's why for me,he's a lyrical genius.
Lol that’s an easy one that nobody catches. Lol I haven’t seen one reaction video catch it
The best reaction video to Kamikaze, without your help I wouldn’t catch so many bars. Great work guys, keep going 👍
I've spent 5hrs watching kamikaze fan reaction vids and this one of the best, that mist bar!
Best reaction I’ve seen. And I’ve seen like 50 already .
WONDERFULLY DETAILED REACTION BY SCIENTISTS IN REACTION FIELD.
GREAT JOB GUYS
THX
ENJOYED IT A LOT
Rain & Reign
Mist & Missed
That was sneaky lol
Thanks for explanation. As english ain't my mother tongue, I did not catch the deeper meaning of that bar.
This
16:53 😂
Em's mind is just amazing
invite 'em (them) in
in vitamin
Y'all murked this review. I had the same reactions. Laughing uncontrollably at punchlines, then silent when I realized who he was goin' at when he said the, "...I don't believe in ghosts" line. Great review. Stay on the grizzy. We see you.
I've watched this reaction a whole bunch of times. You guys are the best.
You guys captured the excitement when a lot of us first heard this album. Such an exciting time to be an Eminem fan when this dropped
I never understood why someone would watch a reaction video, but seeing how much you guys enjoy this, is really fun to watch. Thanks for catching some insider lines!
Em killed everyone. Game over.
"Before your Reign is over You will hardly be Mist!!!! LMAO!!!!!!
'by the time your reign is over, you'll hardly be missed'*
'by the time your rain is over, you'll hardly be mist'*
Anon yup:)👍
You guys were the first guys I've saw who caught the No2 pencil bar! Subbed.
Agree with a lot of the people below and I mentioned this on another Em reaction video you guys had, legit the best dudes breaking down the bars. Very impressive for sure. We need more!
Yes! I'm from that other video comment section. Thanks for introducing me to them. I'm addicted. Intelligent reactors..
Is it typical for a band at a wedding to cover Neil Diamond?
Y'all caught much much more than most
You two are some of the best 'reactors' I've ever watched when it comes to Hip-Hop. Great insights and analysis, great reactions, great content. Keep up the good work guys!
i watched this video like 7 to 10 times, and i just keep getting back to it. it looks like am addicted to it and the album.
Best reactors going
You guys caught so much mad props young lions. Keep it up
Best review of the album for sure, thanks for this!
This is the best review of this album that I've seen. You guys catch a lot more than other reactions vids
I love the appreciation y'all have for lyrics.
I know i wasnt the only one, but i heard that same line and commented the same - good catch
That shit about Kayla Brown - daaaamn
So happy to see someone actually catching the intelligence of the lines
Yo! This had me cracking up each time y'all paused laughing. Good shit!
These videos are extra nice when you got a smart dude behind the wheel breaking it down.
Still watchin this years later. Love that y’all break down every single bar
You guys did the best review out there on Not Alike, honestly the amount of people who miss the double or triple meanings behind a mere snippet of a single bar is staggering.
Way to go, months after kamikaze dropped, I love going back to this vid!
Honestly, you guys are explaining these bars better than Genius. If I ever miss punchlines, I'll just head over here from now on, lmao
JoePoohsta they are genius
0k my mind is blown I grew up listing to marshal and im 42 and here it all so I thought this is great ty for the break down
best reaction, this opened my eyes a lot and Eminem is my favorite artist already.
Y’all have been, by far, the most thorough for this album. Breaking down every lyric, not many other channels can do that as well as y’all did, especially for Eminem. Phenomenal review & reaction.
I love coming back to you two reacting to this
The entire album was so good 😅 I’ve never had to go to RUclips and look up reaction videos lol
"writers, i dont believe in ghost"
-riders, i dont believe in ghost
Movie - Ghost rider...
bars
JESUS. I've listened to the album so much and still missed this one
No.

Junior Kang that’s definitely not what em meant
I am glad I found your channel. You guys catch them layers and keep this stuff entertaining!
One of the best reaction videos I've watched. You guys even caught some crazy shit that noone else did. Thank you guys!
I watch a lot of reaction videos , yall boys are hands down the best. Em makes music for people like yall two. Subed
Yo you guys are actually attentive, listen, and dissect the bars and are intelligent. You catch the intricate word play and the double entendres really quick. That and you break it down for those who can't catch em lol. Ya'll just gained a new subscriber. Keep up the great work.
I noticed it got deleted! Hopefully this one stays up, keep up the great work guys
Good job!
Bro y’all are the best… keep it going homies . AV from SC LA
That reaction to the “mist/missed” was the correct response to REALLY hearing what Em is intending you to hear - for the real listeners.
Ngl y’all up there with my top reactors/break downs for Em’s music.
Appreciate y’all
at 23:34 the song you call fall is actually Kamikaze, the track named fall is number 10
The "every parasite needs a host line goes with the venom line too
28:47 i think y’all missed where he said “like my monthly bill from sprint they charging me for a selfie\cell fee”. He means the woman are charging to him for a selfie because of the previous line and the obviously one of course🔥🔥🔥🔥
I have seen a million reviews and you guys broke it down the best!
This is the best review/reaction I’ve seen. This is how it’s supposed to be... breaking down all the good bars... great work
Watching this vid for the 3rd time. Much love from Hawaii
