This is a perfect example of why Dave's reviews are the best. He just grabs a camera jumps in and starts playing with the car like a kid with a big toy. Dude actually makes me wanna buy this mini van LOL.
A couple of things you left out.
1. The rear Gate can be set to different levels. Comes in handy if you back into your garage. You can set the lift gate to not open higher than your Garage door.
2. The rear flash light is removable and rechargeable. I find it to be very handy.
Looking at the recent car sales statistics, the 2015 KIA Sedona is selling far more here in the US than the Toyota Sienna and Honda Odyssey.

I can't believe how engaged I was with this. If they took this up one more notch with the K900 interior and ride quality for $50K, I would buy without shame.

Dave, I don't know if this van has this feature or not. But if you activate the smart trunk and you stand behind it for few seconds with the key fob in your hand or pock the trunk opens by itself!

Such a good looking minivan, except for the rear lights, but other than that I would make a VIP minivan concept with this car.

David Bennett KIA has been very reliable since the mid-2000s. More reliable than most other Korean/Japanese brands. So no surprise here.

Dave what's the chance of getting a few exciting cars to review? Seems like lately it's been all Kia's and Hyundai's. Now don't get me wrong I know people buy these and want to know more about them, but what drew me to your channel was the 4Runner mishap. It was cool and different (and completely honest because most people would of never admitted that, let alone put it out there for others to see). I'm not knocking you at all, just saying that it would be nice to have some cool cars mixed in with all the regular stuff. Wrx Sti, mustang, corvette, golf R you get the point. There are tons of cars out there that will get big views on RUclips and satisfy your loyal following.

really, no dvd player? I'm currently in the market for a loaded 8 passenger With a DVD player. If those 3 things don't go together in the kia then it's honda odyssey for me! thanks for the review.

I just mentioned that. You have to activate it first. I have the 2015 Hyundai Sonata Limited with all the bells and whistles and it does it!
I've owned a Chrysler T&C since 2008. Bought it new. I was honestly expecting more from KIA. There really isn't anything on this van that's not on my van from 2008 except for lane departure and a few more camera angles other than the rear. One thing that is totally missing is a DVD system. People buy vans because they have kids. Kids need to be entertained when taking trips. No DVD = No purchase for me. Also, I don't care for the middle seats only sliding forward to create cargo room. I like the "stow and go" better because when not in use, you can store things under the floor. BTW, I own 4 vehicles. 3 of the 4 are KIA's. Come on KIA, put a DVD system in this thing so I can buy one!!

You can't be serious? Take a look at every other van on the market. On a 14 hour trip to the beach, a DVD player is most helpful. Thanks but no thanks for the advice Dr. Phil, this isn't 1969. And what gives you the right to judge my parenting skills based on a comment I make about a DVD player in a van? What a joke.
beckd02 Kia offers DVD entertainment for the Sedona, it's on their website when you go to build one.
bikephil Nobody cares what your thoughts on it is, you don't know the guy, you don't know his kids, just hush it and leave your rude comments to yourself. Who can have "quality time" with their kids when going on road trips that are hours away, when they're supposed to be keeping their attention on the roads as well as other drivers around them? My brother is autistic, and a DVD player is a VERY important thing for me, because there's no way I'd be able to travel to see family with him unless I had one, because he'd be screaming and throwing a huge fit while I was driving, causing me a distraction.

Not gonna lie though, the feature set alone makes its pretty dang cool, and the styling is pretty spot on.
Nothing wrong with $40K since households that need a minivan are dual income and will keep the van until they don't need it anymore. New minivans are usually one time buys for the most part.
True enough, i just got spoiled with my "cheap" $28k 2014 Mazda5. And it will be paid off year after next. Where i would probably have to go the whole life of the loan on a $40k Kia...no thanks.

Sunroofs are so over-rated. I never use it and keep it closed. i thought this was a SUV in the commercials! The white would look more stylin'.
Too much money for the average family income. Lots of fun extras, I wouldn't spend enough time driving the car to enjoy all the features, Unless I were living in it 24-7, Oh Ya! Then, I would love all the Fun stuff. I think it';s more for the Millennium age group.

I don't know....Id buy this instead of the Odyssey. It looks better and so dam loaded for the price. It's got features that none of the other minivans have. Only thing missing now is AWD system to attack the Sienna.
@@mana1111 and a DVD system. But with all the devices families are likely to have these days, plus the Sedona's ample usb and household receptacles, maybe most owners won't miss a DVD system.
