i'd honestly pull it off the trashed paint murcielago. not having a heart attack even thinking about someone scratching your door but still having the powertrain pristine is almost the best of the both worlds
In Australia we have a truck or ute tub/tray liner, it's called raptor coating and comes in matte colours. Anti scratch and dent. That would be the go

i worked as a car porter in high school at a pontiac/hyundai dealer. they would have those Azteks on the showroom in "camping" form and they never moved off the dealer lot.

Let's be honest, a gated-manual Murci is an objectively better driver's car than a Chiron or Veyron.
i wont argue that the shifting is probably more fun but the overall experience esp inside the car i would prefer the bugattis
It's objectively worse, having a great gearchange does not make up for the rest of the driving experience being awful. Murcis are not good cars, they are fun, and I would love one, but not to drive hard. Drive them near 100% and they fall to pieces (not literally, metaphorically).
Ok depends on the criteria.
If we're talking driving experience not considering ergonomics, it's the Lambo.
If your talking Kudos then it's got to be Bugatti

I think they were driving through the Swiss or French Alps, and would have to beat the Stig's time on a racetrack, at some point. Clarkson drove a Merci, Hammond drove an Apollo, and I think May drove a GT2 or 3. The footage of Clarkson driving his heart out on that track was incredible, not to mention the flame coming out of that huge tailpipe! He had the best time among the three, and I think he got pretty close to the Stig. Clarkson said something like it was big, heavy, and definitely wanted to kill him.

I have an 03 MT - they are super fun. Grab some of the Dobinsons 3/4” lift springs and it’ll ride great 👍🏽

I used to do that "carry a can of spray paint" thing too, but my vehicle at the time was a 1984 Chevy pickup with moon-shot mileage and a maroon vinyl interior, which is kind of less impressive in some ways. :)
(I was in college at the time, so this was about 1993. I remember once a trust-fund kid ran into the side of the pickup with his Mercedes SL in the university parking lot while I was sitting in it. He hit me with his bumper, so his car wasn't damaged, but he was in an absolute panic about what his parents were going to do to him for, and I quote, "having another accident." I honestly couldn't tell which dent was the new one, so I told him to just forget about it and be more careful.)

Also, the reality of owning more than a few cars is that many of them go to waste. There isn't enough time in the day, week, or month to drive them all reasonably, and some of them will end up doing nothing. As a car fan for life, this for me is the most depressing thing, great cars that aren't doing anything other than hold dust up in a pleasant pattern. Selling a big chunk of your cars off to other individuals who might actually use and enjoy them on a more regular basis seems like a win all around.
As a bonus, with the potential of a big popping of the stock and crypto market balloons, it's quite possibly you sold out at the top of the market by complete accident. Shrewd.

I have a photo of a Bugatti EB 110 SS taken at Sears Point raceway. It was built for Gildo Pallanca Pastor for IMSA racing. It's unusual for being shod with Good Year tires. The car was raced at Watkins Glen, Sears Point, Suzuka and Dijon.
Because they went massively up in value.
