They should have had you demo during the livestream. I learned more watching you than I did the actual company. Thank you for showcasing acrylic and giving settings. As a complete beginner it was really helpful to see. I also appreciate you showing the difference with and without the air assist. As a visual learner, I didn’t think I needed it because I didn’t understand it as all these terms are new to me and it’s hard to find information. Visually seeing why made me also splurge on one. Xtool made a great choice partnering with you!

I have the 20W version and I thought I was doing well setting up my array for dog tags when I went through all of the processes marking, framing etc...and THEN! The blooming probe on the 20W laser head is lower than the prisms and BINGO ! Lets drag the prisms along and jam the brand new machine! Angie, what work bench are you using with the M1 Ultra? I understand that the unit is 25 inches deep, but most work benches like yours are 24 inches deep. @@AngieHolden Just a quick follow up: I ended up purchasing a Vevor adjustable height workbench + some casters. (The workbench does not come with the casters. I had to add them on to the order.) This workbench has a butcher block-type surface that's incredibly solid, stable, and sturdy. It was about $130 more expensive than the Harbor Freight alternative, but it's sooo worth it. Assembly was so much easier than the Harbor Freight workbench. And you're reading this from a guy who gets migraines trying to assemble IKEA furniture. I will have zero problems with this Vevor workbench.

As a European S1 20W user, it would be great if you could clarify what riser base is supplied in the EU and other countries. For example, in the US, you are allowed an opening riser like the one you used but in the EU we don't get that, ours is closed with no extra shelves as it would not pass our safety regs....This is an important consideration and many S1 users did not realise the difference in risers before they got delivered. So will the M1 Ultra have a closed riser for us or an open one as you show? Also will the air assist for the S1 fit the M1 Ultra or is it a different one? While I won't be changing mine, these are important considerations for others.

    • @AngieHolden
