Hi, yes I believe it’s available for Windows, MacOS, even Android and iOS. You can check out the xTool Creative Space download page to see all supported operating systems 😊
Good job showing what this unit can do. Not endless waffle. Clear and to the point. Excellent footage too. I finally have a spare room to use as high tech workshop. It's not big. An all in one machine is appealing but fear they can do everything a little but are good at nothing. Lack of black ink for instance is a terrible oversight as it is likely the most used.
Thank you! If tuned right it can produce some really good results. I’d say the laser module which is the «main» module is pretty much like any other diode laser machine, but you have the benefit of having the other options also 😊 if you for example only need the laser it’s possible to get just a plain laser machine if that’s all you’re planning to use. I’m not 100% sure if the black module doesn’t work but I have not tested it so I can’t confirm whether or not it works. Though a HP62 inkjet module works as a replacement, I swapped mine for a tricolor one when my original one ran out. The HP62 is also available in a pure black so it might be possible, it’s just not tested and will probably just be a simple software update for xTool to make it work if they decide to do so. 😊
hi i wanted ask iif u could make a video showcasing a itx mini pc build with mxm gpu it would be like really unique and good and as u are much more resourceful many other people will get creative ideas as this idea has not been like tested yet and i want to see it being built too
Hi there! To be honest I do not have any type of experience with mxm gpu’s. I can’t make any promises but maybe some day I’ll look into it and see if it’s anything I’d like to try or not. Thanks for the idea and I’ll be sure to write it down for when I need some inspiration for new projects. However, due to this seemingly not being a very common type of build the likelyhood is lower than with other projects that I’ll actually go through with it as my main goal is to make projects around more commonly available parts.
Definitely can. It’s on my future to-do list. However I can’t say exactly when I’ll get to that as I have a few projects already lined up. Probably not this year. Hopefully some time next year. 💪
You can manually adjust the cutting pressure for all kinds of materials from thin paper to thicker cardboard. You can also choose to do multiple passes if you want the blade to cut gradually through the material.
@@makerunit My problem is there are no video examples on card or paper anywhere, especially when evaluating how "intricate", thin, or tiny the cuts can be. For example, what is the minimum diameter of a circle I want to cut on a 200gr card?
Nice review, awesome to see you going into the review direction for makerstuff since 3D printing can only go so far and finally a review person I can trust. That said tho why does x tools require a usb dongle for the machine to work ? That’s such a big no no for me :(
Hey Tim! Thanks! And, the machine comes with more than one USB dongle though. I’m not sure why exactly they went for this but I’m guessing that it’s a safety thing as it’s intended for home use. Probably to have some kind of parental control to prevent your kids from playing with it etc as the laser can be dangerous if used wrong. Actually, something I forgot to mention is that the machine is packed with all kinds of sensors everywhere to prevent it from being able to operate if things aren’t attached correctly etc. So it’s clear to me that the machine is designed with safety in mind! 😊
You swap out the inkjet cartridge like in a normal ink printer. You can either buy xTools own replacement. I also found out that a «HP 62 tricolor» inkjet cartridge fits and works on this machine. They seem to be identical and around the same price as xTools own cartridge (I have tested the HP 62 on mine and it worked perfectly fine)
I have different machines for doing each of these tasks. I don't know how annoying it would be having too change out head units/parts for different projects and not being able to run multiple jobs at the same time.
There are definitely pros and cons of having it all in one, and all separate machines. The main benefit of this particular machine is that it gives you a lot of functionality in a space efficient package. 😊
The versatility of this machine is so good that it's something I may consider when I'll have more room.
Awesome Patrick! I’m glad to hear you like the machine! 😊
@makerunit is this one the 20 or 10 sorry I must have missed that part
@@MsAnna-jk9cd this one is the 20W laser version 😊
@ thanks I thought so
Thanks for the video.
One question, is the software compatible with MacOS? We only use mac hardware in our workshop.

Im Sold ,so much modularity, the price aint too bad either
Given all the things it can do the price definitely isn’t too bad! 😊

@makerunit, glad u read my comment. i will be trying this idea and will tell u in this comment when i will get it done
@@berecklxss1382 Awesome! I’m looking forward to hearing about it 😊
Nice machine!
I’m glad you like it! 💪
It's a bit early for Christmas music don't you think? Music at 2:40 is 'Adeste Fidelis' lol
Oh really? I didn’t even know this was a christmas song! 😁 I guess christmas wishes come early this year.
Do you think that you could design a console style case that fits a standard atx mobo?

Is it good for cutting 250gr paper card (no engraving, neither print, only laser cut)?

How do you replace the ink in the ink module?

@@makerunitYes definitely takes up less room. It will be interesting to see what you will do with the laser. Looking forward to it.
@@Darryl.M I'm currently working on a 3D printable PC case design that will use laser cut panels for the ventilation!
Hi
Hey there! 😊
What you see here …B Roll still on panning shot on grey wall.
What? Please explain in more detail what you mean? I’d love to hear some feedback on how to improve my video presentation 😊
