  • The New Marlin Model 1894 Classic in 44 Magnum is impressive. Rich Deep Bluing, American Black Walnut stocks, and the strong action for which the Model 1894 was known. Now that Ruger owns Marlin, the quality is excellent.

    As a very satisfied Henry owner, it’s nice to see Marlin is back in business as an American firearm.

    I've got the Marlin 1895 Guide Gun in 45/70 and I absolutely Love it. I put a Nikon scope on mine with see through mounts for fast action shooting during deer drives. Quality rifles at a good price. Love my Marlin.

    Funny , I bought my first Marlin , a 30 AS in 88 at a Big 5 store in Cali. It has been a great gun IMO . I also bought a 44 about 2yrs before Marlin sold . It has been good . Nice review !

    Good review and comparison with the Henry. If I didn't love my Big Boy Steel (44mag) so much- I would probably be shopping for one. This is the 2nd review I have seen showing the excellent accuracy of this new 1894. One little thing- is the checkering on the fore stock crooked? or is it designed that way?

    Great to see Marlin back at same Quality as years ago … I would like to see them do some 22 LR and magnum options guns and a lever option .🙂

He actually helps us share his videos with you on our channel by uploading them for us, so he's well aware when they go out. We appreciate your loyalty to him and thanks for checking out GetZone!

      @shemp1howard 6 месяцев назад

      LOL- That was my first hunting gun- a $75 Winchester lever action in 30-30. I remember it had so much slop in the action- amazed it shot at all, but it did the job.

      You are WRONG..They are much better made the POS Henrys and the ONLY USmade rifle made as well as the Miroku Winchesters.

      POS Henry’s?
      I have 5 of them and not a lick of trouble. Same can’t be said for my brother’s JM Marlin in 357/38.
      I believe the Henry’s are made in the USA or not made at all!

    • @apriliaguy4life198
      @apriliaguy4life198 2 месяца назад

      Copy? The bolts are completely different. Henry doesn’t have that ridiculous safety either.
      Henry also has a tube and side gate.

    Are the Marlins action stronger than the Henry? I used some buffalo bore in my Henry and it broke it. The action was not strong enough to handle it.

      We will definitely work with Sootch, Marlin, and Henry to see if we can't get a comparison video up for y'all - that's a great idea!
