I thought I couldn't be happier than the time you reviewed Unhappy Refrain but this album is THE ALBUM of a lifetime for me. I remember listening to Montage Daydream on full blast riding down the highway with my dad
the bauhaus version of ziggy stardust is sooo good too
Five years, soul love, moonage daydream and Starman is such an amazing 4 track run.
The most mindblowing part of five years is that he did the vocals in one take and hes also crying in the vocal track he legit broke down haha
Station to Station is what turned me onto Bowie. I'd heard everything before it and really enjoyed it, but there was something about this recording that sealed the deal for me. Give it a ride!
really would love to see your reaction to aladdin sane, a much heavier and my personal favourite album
0:30 Happy Birthday :)
Bummed out i missed this part of the stream
This album fuckin rules.
Suffragette city is the only Bowie song I listen to on a regular basis. Awesome song
Wild that that’s his least favorite
My fave Bowie album together with Honky Dory. Rock 'N' Roll Suicide is just... bliss
With David Bowie being my favorite musician, im glad youre giving him a shot, one thing you should know, is he was always reinventing himself, so its hard to say you "dont like david bowie" if youre being intellectually honest, and know enough about the guy, and gave him enough of a shot to listen to enough albums, or learn enough about the guy to know this...
With David Bowie’s Songwriting & Vocals along with Mick Ronson on Piano Melotron String Arraignments and His Other Worldly Guitar Solo make Ziggy Stardust Bowie’s Signature Album
brads on fkmg fire lately dood i love this show
for me the drums in five years make me feel the desolation on the lyrics, it's like the feeling when everything is falling apart and you are resting for some seconds while every single thing that made you to this point is laying on your thoughts
I can't explain it but yeah
15:46 Brad was spot on here, the first time I listened to it I was so distracted and I didn’t appreciate it until the third listen
Now Station to Station
Haven't watched yet but really excited, LOVE bowie and love brads videos 😊
