Also, at least once the bumper song for his worst list (I ain't f*** with you, I think) has made it onto his best list, so just because, "This Is Why" is here doesn't mean he doesn't like it. It's just that he found it expresses the sentiment towards the songs that are on the list.
The song bumper for each segment isn’t supposed to a bad song, it’s supposed to reference how he feels. IE, songs this bad are “why he doesn’t leave the house.”
the bumper music is just supposed to be a generally negative or angry song…I Dont F With You by Big Sean was the bumper music and also on the best list one year
Only song I didn't agree with is Vampire. Sure it's not the best Olivia Rodrigo song but I think it elevates itself when performed live, especially the Tiny Desk version. Just doesn't hit that much on the studio version for some reason.
What Todd did to Brad with "vampire" is what he did to me with "Arcade" (and also with "vampire"): he took the things about it that KINDA bugged me and zeroed in on them so much it was kinda hard to ignore. I at least like "Arcade" still, even if I'd be happy not hearing it again for quite a while. "vampire" can take a powder, certainly compared to the rest of that album.
I'm not surprised Calm Down is here, me were in a restaurant and that song was playing, my brother told me he was getting an headache due to the sound of that song
I’m pretty sure he chooses the bumper snippet to have lyrics that relate to the worst list That’s why the clip is “This is why I never leave the house” cause he’s trying to tie it to the songs being so bad they’re why he never leaves the house not that that song is bad He tends to do that for the worst lists, at least imo
Hey, that's not fair. The bumper for bad music lists doesn't have to be bad, it just has to somehow personify the vibe of the list. Sometimes that's by mirroring the musical trends that make the bad music bad, but mostly and it this case it's about how the list-maker feels about the musical trends that make the bad music bad. "This is why I don't leave the house" isn't even a subtle metaphor, he's just outright saying it. lol
I love Todd list for how unpredictable and odd some of his worst and best songs can be. He goes my his favorites and least favorites and don't care if a ton of people love a song. He's not afraid to admit when his opinions change either.
Dude i went on the exact same emotional journey when i saw olivia rodrigo was on the worst list- no way, okay..., wait a winute this guy might have a point
Actually brad when I watched Todd’s video it introduced me to not only that song but Paramore so…I think it was a good decision for him to put that song in
Usually the bumper music is supposed to be his feelings towards the worst songs. Like "these songs are why I don't leave the house", "A B C D E F these songs", or "I want these songs to leaaveee me alloooonee". I think he just also didn't like ABCDEFU.
Todd rules and I honestly much prefer older, mellower Todd to younger, angrier Todd. The content's more watchable and honestly more funny. The points made are better and more considered, and somehow hit harder despite not being yelled at us (he's great at understated humour and biting sarcasm), and when he finally does raise his voice it hits so much harder lol - vs shouting all the time that generally makes it lose its impact.
I felt so validated when Todd dropped Vampire, and even more so that Brad is coming around. That song is nothing more than fine, with little finesse *or* punch.
I'm hoping for "Rich Men North of Richmond (Reprise)" where he sings the same cadence of a song, but reveals how fucking stupid his old criticisms were before he actually became educated on the issues.

Only song I didn't agree with is Vampire. Sure it's not the best Olivia Rodrigo song but I think it elevates itself when performed live, especially the Tiny Desk version. Just doesn't hit that much on the studio version for some reason.
That Pitbull lyric is not bad it is a fucking masterpiece
What Todd did to Brad with "vampire" is what he did to me with "Arcade" (and also with "vampire"): he took the things about it that KINDA bugged me and zeroed in on them so much it was kinda hard to ignore. I at least like "Arcade" still, even if I'd be happy not hearing it again for quite a while. "vampire" can take a powder, certainly compared to the rest of that album.
Todd was having a blast making this video. The most hilarious video of his I’ve watched
I'm not surprised Calm Down is here, me were in a restaurant and that song was playing, my brother told me he was getting an headache due to the sound of that song
My dad is that one guy who genuinely enjoyed all the country songs on this list. He's the exact type of person that you're thinking, lol
I’m pretty sure he chooses the bumper snippet to have lyrics that relate to the worst list
That’s why the clip is “This is why I never leave the house” cause he’s trying to tie it to the songs being so bad they’re why he never leaves the house not that that song is bad
He tends to do that for the worst lists, at least imo
I was expecting Last Night at either the #10 or #9 spot (useally the overplayed spots) didn't expect it to make it to #1.
I watched todds video at a CeCe's pizza after a weekend at a amusement park
Bradley please listen to Mitski, she is art 🗣️ I recommend "Lush" or "Puberty 2"
i looked up "rich men north of richmond gay" and the first thing that comes up was the dax remix
Okay, so I like Olivia, but Vampire is probably her worst song. When Todd put it on the list, I couldn’t help but agree.
8:15 "every fourth, word" based icarly reference
I was sitting in a drive-thru waiting for my food, and of course right when they handed it to me 27:55 happened. So thanks Brad!
How did the server take it?
Memories by David Guetta and Kid Cudi is an amazing song and takes me back to the end of high school every time I hear it
My bus driver plays the radio on the bus, and it was non-stop loops of search and rescue and all my life for the entirety of first semester
His bumper music is usually good music that fits the theme of "these songs suck". In this case, this bad music is why I don't leave the house.
He chose the This is Why I Don't Leave the House bc the chorus is literally saying 'this is why i don't leave the house' as in, these songs are why.
22:22 Lewis Capaldi is the Lil Xan of Sam Smiths.
Drinking game: Take a shot every time the video stops
Dude i went on the exact same emotional journey when i saw olivia rodrigo was on the worst list- no way, okay..., wait a winute this guy might have a point
Can’t wait for Todd to put out the best list too
Actually brad when I watched Todd’s video it introduced me to not only that song but Paramore so…I think it was a good decision for him to put that song in
to the chatter who said "guy who learned about slavery from genius annotations" you're the funniest person alive
Usually the bumper music is supposed to be his feelings towards the worst songs. Like "these songs are why I don't leave the house", "A B C D E F these songs", or "I want these songs to leaaveee me alloooonee". I think he just also didn't like ABCDEFU.
Watching this after the pop champagne stream is too surreal
Brad doing The Grapefruit Method cuaght me off guard xdd
Todd rules and I honestly much prefer older, mellower Todd to younger, angrier Todd. The content's more watchable and honestly more funny. The points made are better and more considered, and somehow hit harder despite not being yelled at us (he's great at understated humour and biting sarcasm), and when he finally does raise his voice it hits so much harder lol - vs shouting all the time that generally makes it lose its impact.
ETHICAL STREAM, brad, c'mon get with it. Let that ad play
I get the feeling Brad didn’t see the point of language in highschool given how terrible he is at reading into the slightest bit of context
A Brad Taste in English?
@@janetthompson11 would watch tbh
1 hour lenght of a video is just crazyy. Only bradley can do that
love you as always 🤞🏼
I felt so validated when Todd dropped Vampire, and even more so that Brad is coming around. That song is nothing more than fine, with little finesse *or* punch.
But does it belong on the WORST list? When Mother by Megan Trainor wasn’t even mentioned?
@@ascendednightingale2456 Todd's list is explicitly HIT songs. Mother was hardly a hit.
@@ascendednightingale2456 Yeah mother didnt even hit top 100 lol
I'm hoping for "Rich Men North of Richmond (Reprise)" where he sings the same cadence of a song, but reveals how fucking stupid his old criticisms were before he actually became educated on the issues.
I feel blessed that ive never heard almost all these songs.
45:40 Yes, Jason Aldean, I have also seen auteur films from the 70s about how dirty and crime-infested cities are. They weren't accurate at the time and they're even less accurate now. But then, I'm sure you already know that, seeing as how you LIVE IN THE CITY like every other country star.
No way drake called Taylor Swift the n word💀 like do you not see how white she is
Well, it's Drake.
5:31 Crazy how brad predicted the number one here.
